The Age of the Heart

Auran looked Nova in the eyes, "What has happened to Alice, she never had any feelings for me, i was just a puppet to be taken off the shelf whenever she wanted..." His eyes were full of emotion, though he tried to hide it

 

"Alice must've had reasons. There's always a reason, no matter how stupid it may seem" Gexln said, thinking aloud. He turned and stared Nova straight in the eyes, his gaze cold as ice. "What's Alice's goal?" he demanded.

 

"Not at all. Alice absorbed the power of a Goddess of Destruction when Istar first left home. After that...I've been praying that the Goddess within her stay dormant. Alice does have feelings for you, Auran. But currently the Goddess within her is in control. That Goddess only cares about life and power. As for her goal...she needs a new vessel. Without a new vessel, she cannot take the life of Alice and free herself in body and power." Nova gently touched Auran's cheek, "Alice vie Britannia is not awake, Auran. If you get her here...to Kingdom Hearts, the place where no one's hearts are safe, I will get her to tell you the entire truth."

 

Auran slowly nodded and ran towards the exit, and jumped, heading straight for where Alice was down on the ground.

 

Gexln sighed as Auran jumped. "Really, one day the boy's going to get himself killed" Gexln said quietly to himself. A sly smirk appeared on the corner of his mouth as he remembered Genesis.

 

Nova watched Gexln carefully, "Are you not going with him? Alice is a formidable enemy now...getting her here will be quite a challenge. But I see you have taken a liking to Genesis. He is not one to be taken lightly."

Alice's glazed eyes stared into the fountain and down at Moth's unconscious body. She didn't know who this child was, in fact she barely knew who Docyx was. "Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do. I'm half crazy, all for the love of you..." she sang softly to herself as she bent to pick up Moth.

 

"Formiddable enemy? Alice?" Gexln questioned. He burst out laughing. "The girl couldn't swat a fly if it were on crutches TRYING to kill itself" he said, laughing more.

 

Nova shrugged, hiding her smile, "If that's what you believe. At the moment, she isn't Alice. Hmm...I believe the Goddess' name was...Mithos...oh! Whoops...not really a 'Goddess' is he...more of a God...err....my mistake..." She snapped her fingers and a boy materialized beside her out of black smoke. "Souichirou, back Auran up. Genesis is busy with the copies. Mithos won't go easy on him. For his freedom, he'll do anything." The boy had long black hair and equally dark eyes. He looked like a gentle sort. Sou nodded and disappeared. "As you wish, my lady. No harm shall come to Lady Alice vie Britannia of Lladranna."

 

"Mithos? How...how strong is he? Is he stronger than Genesis?" Gexln questioned.

 

As Auran descended, he focused and said words in Spanish "Adelante, mis alas de la noche" And his old wings, darker in colour now, burst from his back, "Ahh how i missed these" Then he flew to the ground and ran up to where Alice stood

 

Alice barely gave him notice. Her wings gently lifted and settled in periodic rounds. She turned her head slightly, her eyes hazy and dull, "You're back."

The boy materialized beside Auran, his clothes were normal and baggy, "Lady Nova ley Britannia sent me. I am Souichirou Terubayashi." he pulled a gun from the inside of his jacket and aimed it at Alice, "Alice can't die while Mithos is within her. These bullets are tranquilizers. If you would, young man, please tire her out so I can get a clear shot."

Nova slumped to the ground, letting golden water drip from her fingers, "Indeed he is.... Mithos is a Warrior God. A long time ago, he fought with three other friends to end a war in Lladranna and Britannia. Which explains our name...Alice vie Britannia...Nova ley Britannia...we would be the new heads of Britannia's republic if the war hadn't been stopped. Lladranna became our home and now...look at what has befallen the great Queens of Britannia..." Genesis came back, sauntering like he'd just won some popularity contest, "All is calm for the moment, Nova. My summoned creature should handle any that remain."

 

"Wouldn't be too sure of that" Gexln said with a sly grin. "These days, things seem to have a way of turning themselves around and having unexpected results. Can't ever be too reliant on other things, gotta handle things yourself to be sure" Gexln laughed.

 

Auran was going to argue with the fact of being called young man by a boy that looked younger than him, but chose not to, instead put his gloves on, that were made of a material stronger than diamond, and lunged at Alice, saying quietly "Forgive me"

 

Genesis cracked his knuckles, "Since we have some free time. Care to finish our fight?"

Alice dashed backwards, "You'd attack me? Ungrateful little..." She aimed a roundhouse kick at his jaw, even if it connected, Alice didn't hold much physical strength.

 

Gexln smirked. "Wouldn't have it any other way" he said.

 

Drawing his sword, Genesis rushed at Gexln. His boots splashed through the water on the ground and a flare materia blazed in his hand. "No holding back!"

Nova shook her head, exhausted at Genesis' eagerness to prove he was a hero.

 

Gexln's held up a palm in the air as it began to glow a dark purple colour. He chuckled. "I rarely ever hold back" he said. He ran straight at Genesis and struck out with a darkness-infused jab with his right hand, while his left hand swung Darkness' Sorrow vertically upon the skull.

 

Auran dodged the kick, grabbed Alice's leg and threw her away from him "Ungrateful?? And im meant to be grateful for what?!" He said as he lunged at her, aiming a quick jab at her gut

 

but why? *docyx says looking Moth in the eyes*

 

Genesis grabbed Gexln's hand in his own, their powers colliding and blocked his Keyblade. "Then this will be an enjoyable battle."

Alice flipped in the air and landed on her feet, parrying Auran's attack with her Keyblade. "You should be grateful I keep you alive!" her voice changed to that of a young boy's and snarled, "And that I don't destroy this world along with your friends!"
