The Age of the Heart

Genesis chased after him, slapping his sword against Gexln's. "So smug, but for how long?"

 

Gexln parried the strike midair, using the force of it to try and spin himself around in the air and try a reverse slash towards chest height as he fell towards the ground. "Just stating facts" he said.

 

Genesis kicked out and stepped on Gexln's blade. Flipping mid-air, he landed on one knee, "Facts or not...either way, they will not help you. I've yet to see any sort of power displayed. You're convincing me, remember?"

 

Auran stood strong and said something strange "I have maintained an extreme level of anger and solitude over peroids of my life...And in doing so I've developed into a devil...So in order to know me is to accept an angelic demon." As he drew his sword

 

Gexln sighed. "You underestimate me. I'm only just getting warmed up" he said confidently. He lowered his blade for a mere moment and yawned. "You're actually beginning to bore me" he said.

 

Genesis glanced over at Auran, Two against one...will he join the fray and challenge me or fight against his ally? Genesis changed tactics, sprinting at Gexln, his sword high and poised for a relentless assult. Bringing his sword down several times in rapid succession in a battering display of strength. "I should say...only one is allowed to see Nova. After all...she is in a rather delicate state."

 

Gexln blocked the attacks, his legs nearly crumbling beneath him from the display of strength. "Never. Have. Been one to follow the rules!" Gexln said through gritted teeth as he pushed back Genesis' own blade.

 

Dragging his hand along his already magic infused sword, Genesis made his blade flare a brighter shade of crimson, "If you won't follow rules! Then the choice will be obvious!" He was about to bring his sword down on Gexln, the chances of his sword slicing through Gexln's blade were high, when he struck a different blade. A long, thin katana with a white strip of linen attatched to the end. "Huh...Nova?!" Nova's face was pale, dripping with sweat. Her clothes in shreads and covered with either her own or someone else's blood stains.

 

"Nova? What the hell are you doing here?" Gexln asked, an irritated tone to his voice. He took the distaction as an opportunity to widen the gap between himself and Genesis.

 

Auran's eyes opened with shock at Nova's state. He rushed over as quick as lightning and placed a reassuring hand on her hip, in case she fell, "Nova, what has happened to you?" He asked

 

"Auran get the hell away from her! Look at her, stained with blood! And the guy we're fighting clearly knows her, who knows what side she's on? You idiot!" Gexln yelled.

 

Nova brushed off Auran and jerked her head back towards the direction she'd come. "Genesis...the copies are overwelming my barriers. Do what you can." He nodded and ran down the corridor.

Nova turned back towards Gexln and Auran, "Hmph, it's not my blood. I'll be damned if I let myself be struck down by those foolish clones. Auran...you're here about Alice..." She wiped sweat from her face, "There isn't much time...state your questions."

 

Docyx monas and wakes up...."Moth, your here?" Then with all his memories he gasps "wait where are we which world?"

 

Moth looks at the children playing before turning to Docyx. "We are in my mind. In a dead world that was once my home. It was known by the name Selarius. We are in the past in my memories. We need to leave as soon as possible because the longer I'm in my memories the more danger we are in." She says sadly. Before offering Docyx her hand whilst frowning.

 

Alice picked up her old friend's unconscious body, leaving the foreign one and carried him towards the shining light of Kingdom Hearts, "It's time to go home now Docyx...back...to where we belong..." Her golden hazel eyes glazed over as she stared at her friend, "Please don't leave me alone like that again. You're such a silly one...abandoning a girl like that." Alice's mind had gone far beyond the reach of help...she throughly believed her friend was awake.

 

*docyx takes her offer* how do we get out of here? I don't know what to do

 

moth looks at Docyx. "I don't know. All I know is you got us here and I know where and when we are. Why don't we follow younger me and see what happens" she said pointing to the girl at the fountain washing clothes. The girl had her hair covering her face and was a contrast to the others around her.

 

Alice set Docyx down for a moment and straightened his clothes, "Hey...Onii-chan, do you remember that time when we were kids....and I fell into the fountain? You laughed until you were rolling around on the ground...." she turned her face down, so it was covered in shadows, "I didn't like that. You shouldn't have laughed at me." Standing, Alice laughed, a brittle sound, "But...that doesn't matter now. You know...Onii-chan...if the Black Bloods from home find me here...without Sis, I'll be in trouble. The both of us will be...and it'll be a dark day. But~ I know how to keep them off our trail. Shall I tell you? Onii-chan....?" By now Alice's golden hazel eyes were dull and blank as she stared at Docyx and glanced backwards to where she'd left the other body. "Fine...no need to shout. I'll go get your friend."

Moth watched her younger self and looked at the floor before turning to Docyx. "Yes these are my memory's and all he'll is about to break loose." she said angrily. "Lunaris!" Moth turns and sees a familiar figure approach her younger self. The younger self looked up and greeted the person who had called out her old name. "Hi Lilith" was all that was said before she turned back to the washing and Lilith sat down on the fountain edge beside her. Moth watches the scene with clouded eyes. "Yup all hells about to break loose."
