Caeli used a rush of air, to scoop two more apples out of the container. Then started to head back. But then he noticed someone at the door. Not wanting to deal with anyone or anything, Caeli turned around and headed back to his room...

"Don't talk nonsense. You're so much stronger than you think. I've seen how much control you have, you demonstrate it regularly in those silly tricks you do. You adapt your power with ease to the situation and I think if you believe in yourself and pushed yourself, you'd be quite powerful, a match for anyone." She said, trying to boost her friends confidence. Although she was divided, she cared about Maddie, she didn't want her friend to get caught up in all this chaos and put heself in danger. She wanted to protect her. Yet at the same time she was well aware how outmatched she was and she needed all the help she could get. She sighed, "I'm just glad someone finally agrees with me" She paused, "This probably isn't the bast place to talk about this. I know the perfect place we could go to get some privacy, how about we grab our food and head there?"

She'd been at the orphanage a long time, probably longer than the majority of the people there. She knew how things worked. Although she was trying to protect the humans by stopping a war, she knew fair well that a lot of humans hated them. She was aware a place like this, with so many witches and wizards, would be a prime target for those that hated them and wanted to kill them. Therefore it was essential the place was kept secret. To do this it was far enough out from the rest of time and it had a large front, hiding the actual orphange, of an long abondoned building. She'd found a way into this bit a few years ago and loved it. No one ever came there, there was never anyone there. They rarley got visitors and the ones they did were in the magic community so didn't use that enterance. She had the place to herself, it was great to come to get away from the chaos of the orphanage.

She grabbed her food quickly and, making sure noone was looking, led Maddie away into a little hidden corner were she pushed back the wall to create a very small gap that they could squeeze through.

Jellal slowly walked down the halls of the orphanage. If anyone else was going to join the resistance, it would most likely be in the outside world. The others here were soft and kindhearted, not the type to rise up in a rebellion and start a war. He spotted someone enter through the front door. A girl, with twin pistols. It wasn't everyday you saw someone like that come into an orphanage. But he ignored her for the moment. They would depart tomorrow morning, so he figured he's get some rest and nourishment. He walked toward the kitchen, took two apples then headed back to his room.

While walking away Caeli saw Jellal. It had been bugging him that he didn't know when they're 'resistance' will attack the humans. So he darted towards him and shouted, "Jellal! Jellal!"then coming down to more of a whisper he asked, "This has been bugging me for a bit now, but when do we strike our first blow against the humans?"

(OOC: I was given an "OK" from Midnight, so... yeah...)

Ulrich walked towards the orphanage, tightening his red trench-coat about his slender body. His amber eyes shone brightly, despite his long dark bangs shadowing his upper face. He appeared lazy and tired, yawning often and moving sluggishly as he walked. Ulrich glanced to and fro, making sure no one was after him... in particular. He yawned again. "The more I walk, the more bothersome I think it is to even bother trying to find a home. Perhaps I'm better off back near that lake... at least there, I had easy access to food, water, and a nice bath..." he complained, though it was a hollow thing for him to do. He was tired, alone, and most of all, he was unable to fend for himself. He was too lazy and apathetic to bother with anything. He looked ahead again and saw the orphanage. It was closer in sight. Ulrich smiled and approached the place.

He sighed, however, when he noticed a white-haired girl was in his way. "Great," he murmured. "Another bothersome obstacle." Even though he complained, he continued forward and moved on past her. Ulrich first sought the kitchen...

Jellal was nearly startled by the boy who ran up to him shouting. When Caeli lowered to a whisper, he eased up a bit. "Not for a while." He responded. "We don't have the forces to directly combat them right now. If we attacked them head on, we'd be crushed with little effort on their part. What we're doing first is going out to find many more witches and wizards to aid us. Once we have that, we just might have a large enough army to win a war with them."

Andrew panted heavily as he ran through the woods, zigzaging this way and that way. He knew he wasn't being followed. He would've felt their footsteps on the earth around him. But just in case, he acted like he was. Trying to tread and run as quietly as he could over the leaf floor of the forest. It had been about a year since he had left the orphanage, tired of fearing for his life of being discovered with the other kids and being able to do nothing about the prejudices against his kind. He left to free his nerves and assure himself that he could do something about this fear and treatment. That was a year ago, when he was naive and oh so very young. Andrew came back to warn the kids about the outside world. No doubt some of them are probably thinking of some sort of ridiculous idea like a rebellion. That won't help the situation. It would make it worse, this he knew. Peace won't come with more fighting. Peace will come with understanding. But those orphans can't possibly understand that if bred with hatred. He probably should have stayed. Andrew wondered if any of his old friends were still there at the orphanage. Finally seeing a clearing, Andrew stopped and breathed a sigh of relief expecting to see his beloved orphanage only to see....nothing. "Huh? But..." For a brief moment, images of the orphanage being bombed surfaced in his mind. But then he remembered wandering outside the orphanage once. There were plenty of clearings like this one in the forest. I must've gone the wrong way somewhere...where is it? he thought annoyed with himself. Hang tight, kiddies. I'll be there soon.

Jo's red eyes narrowed on the boy pushing past her. One of her pistols slid into her hands and she pressed it to the back of his head, "You got some nerve shoving a girl! You tryin' to pick a fight or what?!" Bending her knees, Jo's magic flared around her like an angry swarm of bees. It manifested into the form of fire ants and crawled all around the boy. "You wanna die?"

Ulrich stopped and barely turned his head. "You know," he began slowly. "If you didn't want to be pushed aside, you shouldn't be standing in the middle of the doorway like a cat staring at catnip." Ulrich explained logically, though his tone held complete apathy towards his logic. He was too tired to care... so much so, he barely took notice of the warm air. "You really shouldn't be losing your temper for your own mistakes. It's really unhealthy for you. " He added, already walking away.

Flicking out her hand, a wall of fire burst up in front of the boy. Jo snarled, "I was here for like five seconds! I have a right to be curious! I don't make mistakes." Hearing a bit of slight commotion outside, Jo tried to keep her fleeting attention on the boy. This wasn't the way to start her new life off, but she was irritated already from the police and lack of sleep.

Ulrich's brows raised themselves several inches as the wall of flame appeared, making him move back a step. "Temper, temper," he remarked calmly, turning to look at her. "If things keep getting heated between the two of us, we may have to find a new home. Again. Assuming, of course, you're also an orphan. Or else you wouldn't be here." Ulrich continued, yawning and stretching. "Now, can you please extinguish your fire? It would suck to have everyone else die on my behalf."

Jo's attention shifted back to him and she snorted, not entirely an attractive noise. "Burn down this building? Please! Obviously you know nothing about magic. My temper is perfectly under control. And so is my fire." She growled, her fire disappearing and she marched past him. "I don't have time to bug you. I need to be bugging someone else who's in charge of rooms around here."

Caeli stared at Jellal for a moment. Trying to not show his disappointment he said, "It's just I really wanna kill them...", "For what they did...", exclaimed Caeli while tightening his fist on his right hand. Turning away Caeli said farewell to Jellal and walked back to his room to calm down with some music...

After a couple more minutes of aimless wandering, Andrew finally found a backdoor sort of way into the orphanage. God, finally. Let's see....if I remember correctly, this was my window, and it should still be broken... Gently opening the window, Andrew climbed into his old room. "Hnnnng....whoa," he grunted with effort as he pulled himself into the room while marveling at the blankness of it. Yep, just like my old room. But it has another occupant. He thought as he looked at the rumpled bedsheets. Andrew walked over to them and touched the bed with his hand. Cold. Good, he's been gone for a time. Oh I better close that window so they don't notice. he thought panicking a little. Once Andrew had closed the window, he slowly walked to the door and opened it. The hallways for the most part looked clear. It was pretty late in the day, so most likely the kids were going to the dining hall to eat lunch. However, he could plainly hear shouting and arguing towards the main entrance. Uh-oh. I better head over there quickly and see what's up. Running, he noticed an obviously enraged girl younger than himself with guns. And a fire user to boot. THIS is the reason why the world hates us. She was arguing with a much calmer guy, and the argument seems to have been solved a little, but the tension hasn't died. "Hey, what's the problem here? And for the love of god, put those down! This is supposed to be a secret safe haven. It's not going to be safe anymore if you make a racket with that," Andrew said tensely.

"It's nice of you to say that...thank you." She smiled at her friend as they entered the dining hall. "Sure, I don't see why not." Maddie muttered absent mindedly, grinning innocently as she reached out for the last red apple, her stomach growling ferociously as it tempted her to wulf it all down in a single bite. However, before she could clasp her small fingers around it, Haley dragged her away from her prize, moving over to a small, out of sight corner which she had no knowledge of before now. "W-what's this?" She quizzed her friend quietly as she proceeded to push back the wall, which seemed to make it open up into a small gap. She remained silent as it opened up, unable to accept that she did not know about this beforehand, considering her favourite place to sit down and read was in small corners away from crowds of kids.

Jo flung her other hand with her other pistol out towards the new boy. "What the hell?! You just don't stop coming do you?" She gritted her teeth and narrowed her red eyes. Lowering her guns a bit, Jo sighed and laughed for a long time. "Damn, here I am doing it again. Yeah, yeah, I'll learn one day."

Well....someone's off their rocker. thought Andrew nervously. He never liked guns because that was the weapon that the government used to kill his family. Even in the hands of his "own kind" they still made him nervous. They were too destructive and far too easy to use. Swallowing away his worries, he asked the two, "Are you two newcomers? How'd you find this place? And were either of you followed?" My god, someone that dangerous and trigger happy has got to be wanted by the government. I swear if she actually LED them here... Breaking off that chain of thought quickly before he got a panic attack, Andrew waited for their replies. Being able to control earth did have its perks, even if some other foolish people didn't think so. His kind of magic was probably most well known for defense. And if the orphanage did come under danger of being discovered thanks to these clueless newcomers, he would absolutely defend it and hide it from the government's eyes.

Jo glared at him. She knew that look. He was accusing her of dumbly leading the government to this little orphanage. "Idiot...do you think I'm dumb? I killed the moron who followed me. I don't take kindly to the government pulling a gun on me. Not....not after they...they murdered him..." Her memory flashed images of the young little white haired boy she called brother. Ichijo...I'll avenge you no matter what the cost.
