"And how do you plan on changing that. "It's not like you can takeover the entire orphanage." Keel replied.

 

"Maybe not, but..." He paused for a moment "There have to be more witches and wizards than the few in the orphanage. If i can find enough of them, we might be able to win.

 

"Be that as it may, I highly doubt the people running this place are just going to let you walk out the door." Keel said.

 

"Heh. lets see 'em stop me."

 

"Well, it'll be interesting to see your plan play out." Keel replied.

 

"so then, in you're in, we should be about ready." Jellal said and began to walk out "Meet me by the door tomorrow morning"

 

"Okay, I'll see you there." Keel said before heading off to get something to eat.

 

Maddie sighed slightly as she continued to walk forward with no sightings of the bathroom, just rude teenagers whose only thoughts at the moment were probably "Food"."Gah, how am I ever supposed to find my way around in this Stampede of Starvation?!" She paused quickly as she noticed a familiar looking girl not too far away from her, who looked to be half skipping, half walking through the crowd. A beaming smile plastered all over her face as kids ran past her in all directions. Maddie squinted her eyes tightly, trying to recognise who it was, until it finally clicked in her mind, causing her to smile slightly, "Hey! Haley! Over here!" She waved her hand rapidly at her friend to get her attention.

 

Haley span on the spot as she heard her name, "Huh?" She muttered as she tried to work out who was calling her, a brief look of confusion on her face. Her usual smile returned almost instantly after though as she spotted Maddie waving at her. She laughed as she made her way over to little Maddie. She wasn't sure why she still thought of Maddie as little, she was at least the same size as her now, probably taller. Although, that wasn't a hard feat, Haley was really small despite being one of the oldest there. "Hey Maddie, how're you today? Hope you're still smiling.", She said with a grin upon reaching her friend.

 

"I'm fine thank you!" Maddie chirped cheerfully swinging her arms in front of her innocently, her purple eyes wide with joy. It had been a while since she had had a chance to talk to Haley properly, she'd only been able to say a quick hello over the past few weeks as she was extremely busy with errands and whatnot which saddened her a little. Haley had been really good to her on her first few weeks of arriving at the orphanage, helping her through her countless layers of shyness and seeing her through some hard times. For that she was very grateful. "Smiling because I'm surpassing you in height maybe!" She giggled quietly as she elevated herself upwards slightly by creating little geysers of fresh water to erupt from under her feet.

 

Haley laughed, "That is good and that is not a hard task, passing me in height. So you don't need to do that little trick to make yourself taller. Won't your feet be all wet now? Although if we were using powers, I could get higher than you easy." She laughed and put her arm round her friend, "So, food?" She sugested and began walking in that direction. She looked at her friend, a turned a tad more serious though still remained friendly. "Oh, can I ask you something? There is a lot of talk about a sort of resistance going round at the moment. Well, honestly, have they roped you into any of this?" She was worried for her friend and hoped that she would be honest with her if she had.

 

Maddie giggled again at her friend's comment, clicking her fingers to stop the flow of water from under her. "No silly, I can control whether I want to get wet or not. Very handy in a water fight...though it might be a tad unfair..." She grinned slightly and followed her friend as she led her in the direction of food, her stomach rumbling slightly at the thought of a nice, juicy apple. Her smile vanished momentarily as Haley gave her a serious look and asked her about the round up of the rebellion, a sense of worry flowing through her words. She shook her head in reply, "No, I've been avoiding them all morning. I'm pretty sure a lot of the kids next to me have joined them though, it's horrible." She sighed slightly but gave her friend a cheerful look, not wanting to bring the mood down. "What about you?" She knew this question was pointless, Haley would never do anything of the sort. It just wasn't her sort of thing, but she wanted to make sure.

 

Haley smiled slightly, "That's good", She was glad that Maddie hadn't been caught but she was still worried by the amount of people joining the resistance. "Me? Don't be silly, course I haven't. As much as what the humans did hurts me, this isn't the right way to go. We need peace, we need to prove to them we're not monsters. There plans will just cause more bloodshed." She sighed and looked at her friend, "I'm worried how many kids are joining the resistance and if anything I'm going the other way. They need to be stopped before they start a war." She shook her head. "Though not sure what I can do on my own"

 

Caeli's stomach growled with hunger. "Dang it! I should've tooken more than the apple..."Caeli then rolled off his bed and to the door and opened it. Then stepped into the hallway and headed back to the commissary...

 

ooc: Since SORA hasn't been here and Midnight says I'm good, can I have a recap?

 

Ooc- well everything is just starting, but Jellal (Rienzel) is finding people to join his resistance. While some people are trying to avoid the resistance. Those people are Haley and Maddie.

 

Jo zipped up her jacket and headed out of her small home. If there's ever a day when being a witch with a gun isn't a good day...I don't want to see it. She hid her twin pistols well under the flaps on her pants. Her boots crunched on dirt as she walked through town. Stopping, Jo eyed the soldiers passing by her. "This thing is supposed to detect witches. Took it right from the labs. I wonder if it actually works." An obnoxious beeping sound started going off and they stopped, staring at Jo. "Witch! Freeze!" Jo's temper flared, "Who're you calling a Witch!? Filthy humans!" She pulled her guns, shooting one in the head and missing the other. She shoved one pistol away and snapped her fingers. A bust of flame surrounded the soldier. "Alright, so I'm a witch. What're you gonna do about it?" Bolting away from the soldier, Jo stuck her tongue out before the fire completely engulfed him.

 

OOC: Pretty much what Crown said. You can choose your side: the resistance or trying to stop them, the resistance as it stands is much bigger. Also everyone else is currently in the orphanage, so I suggest you go there if you want to interact with people.

 

Jo ducked under a fence and stopped running after a few miles. What's this....an orphanage? Hmph...at least it'll be warm and they have food... She pushed open the doors and hid her guns. If you ask me it looks abandoned...there had better be some food around here. Jo shook soot and ash out of her white hair and off her clothes. "Hellll-oooooo! Anybody here!?"

 

Maddie sighed quietly, "I don't understand why all this revenge seems to be so important, nothing good will come out of it in the end. Though I'm certain there will be little to no chance of just being able to talk a select few of these people out of this crazy plan..." She flicked her small brown fringe out of her eyes and placed her hands around the back of her head thoughtfully, her eyes wandering around her surroundings. "Are you sure you could stand up to them? I would be willing to help...but I'm not sure what good I could be..." She shook her head as she gently kicked an empty can out of the way of her feet. "I can't even look after myself...I would just be a hindrance..."
