The 13 Crystall skulls..The End of The World....

I was looking at different sites about the end of the world because of my last thread I made today (2012) an d I found this on one of the site's (plus the samething on "43things" after someone said if "are we gonna be gone by dec 21 2012? let hope not.. we been still alive and still have problems with air or earthquakes and volances and tumanais everything happening in our world.. but end of the world?? id ont want to dead by end of the world.." )

I saw a TV special on this and did a little backside research online as well. It isn't too special. Personally, I think it's a bunch'a ****. But that's just me.

 

I came in thinking of Ninja Gaiden II :\

The few crystal skulls in existence (less than 13) have all been proven with microscopic analysis to have been made with modern tools, in modern times. I.e., they're all fakes. I.e., this is a load of bull.

Also, Maya temples are rarely booby-trapped, or the priests wouldn't have been able to use them for sacrifices and such when they were still in use.

 

Crystal skulls? Wow, that...sounds ridiculous. No offense, but there's no way that's happening. I thought the crystal skulls were a part of the latest Indiana Jones movie?

 

OMG why can't people understand!!! Dec. 21 2012 means the end of the Mayan Solar Calendar...nothing more

 

The adventure loving side of me really wishes that was true, that would be so amazing.

Sadly though I don't believe it to be true.

Nor do I believe the world will end in 2012. If anything DOES happen it will be as a result of people panicking and causing chaos out of paranoia and fear.

Though...since you're into that stuff of archeology, then it makes sense. I'm really not well informed on the subject, but it's just the end of the mayan calendar. Maybe they got bored of doing calendars?

 

I can see a good side to most of the world's infrastructure and population being destroyed: we would get to rebuild everything in a more efficient way, finally able to make the switch to new technologies that, right now, would cost billions to implement, and we might be able to keep one government (at least, for a while).

But this idea is a load of crap. Nothing is going to happen. I will bet my life on it.

 

No, I would want the adventure of tracking down the skulls to bring them together in some chaotic temple just in time to save the world

And whats this '13' business? No one can bring numbers into the end of the world, because numbers were made by man, and the end of the world is natural.

 

guys this is just like alot of people have said. I mean do you know how many times the world should've ended accroding to some wierd religious text or some ancient calender or something to that effect???the most recent one was in 2007 where a russian cult said the world would end may 2008. As far as i see were still here aren't we, so don't put too much faith in these stories.
