Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels like this?

I told my pops about a Japandroids concert that I was trying to go to like a month ago, he said yeah, so I bought a ticket and I reminded him yesterday, the day of the show, and he said yes. Now, RIGHT BEFORE I'm about to leave, he changes his mind and says no because he says he's "not feeling it" and that because its a rock band, he apparently believes that they MUST BE doing drugs and have tattoos and ****. He says this without even looking up the band or listening to their music.

Whatever though. I got one more year until I'm free, so yeah. So, am I the only one who feels like this?

And yes, KHV is my personal blog.

Yeah, I know. And there's no guarantee that I'll be able to see them again when I'm 18 either. What if their next album sucks? What if they don't tour to NY anymore or break up before I turn 18? **** sucks.

And yeah, nice. I'm hopefully going away for college, so I'll have all the freedom I'll need.

I bet it does, being able to go to any club, bar, or concert. So yeah, screw you.

What about you? You moved out already?

I did everything I wasn't allowed to do before I was 18 so it didn't really make too much of a difference to me O.O

That must really suck. Although, considering you already bought the ticket and he was saying "yes" even on the day of the concert, I would think he would have at least a little decency to keep saying "yes". Especially if you already bought the ticket. Too bad no refunds.

I'm 18 now, but I'm all the way on the other side of the continent, and I'll be getting back home when I'm 19.

I wasn't like other teenagers, I could wait to grow up.

When I went to my graduation, everyone asked me why I was wearing all black. "This isn't just a graduation," I told them, slightly sad, "This is the death of my childhood."

The minute I turned 18 my level of giving a **** and having ****s given about what I do decreased. I pretty much just say "HEY GUYS IM GOING HERE DONT MAKE ANY FOOD FOR ME CAUSE I WONT EAT IT" then proceed to not return until like 3 am.

Also, I don't have a license or a job. I just have rich friends with cars, **** yeah.

    Haha, same here actually, I
smoked weed, drank, got into a bar, bought liquor, got into a strip club
, but never actually went to a REAL concert, ironically. Hopefully I'll get to go to Warped Tour next month though. If not, then I'll probably be depressed for the rest of the summer.

Well, he did pay me back the money. It was like $20. But it wasn't the money I was worried about.

I have a feeling that if I did that when I was 18 and under my dad's roof, he'd probably lock my ass outside.

Also, I had a feeling that you'd be into A$AP Rocky for some reason, you ****ing hypebeast. lol

Pretty much this. Plus, I like his charisma. Seems like a pretty down to earth dude, yet still a leader among his group.
