for not only bending the comic i bought to fit in the mailbox, but damaging the spine, edges, and back cover. ****.
call the place you ordered it from, explain what happened, ask if they can second you a new copy because it arrived damaged, and have them place a "do not bend" label on the packaging. but yeah that ****ing sucks man. what comic was it anyways?
Sorry about what happened. I've had some bad mail experiences too recently, but it was my computer that got destroyed :'c. I hope it wasn't a rare/valuable one and you can get a replacement without too much trouble. The seller might not mind sending you a new copy.
USPS shouldn't have jobs. We're talking people who had to get a PS3 to me from Texas, right? It even had a tracking number. After three weeks of waiting for it, I had to call so many people to eventually get a "we don't fuckin' know where it is!" I'm pretty sure that PS3 ended up in fuggin' Aussie.
Should've made a claim on it. If something arrives damaged I always contact the seller/store I got it from and see what they say. Sometimes they'll send you a replacement. Other times you have to complain to the deliverer.
I mean I bought it from a person and it's not a newer issue so I don't see this happening. Otherwise yeah I'd do that. Batgirl #64. It's not a particularly valuable issue or anything, aside from sentimental reasons. It's not damaged beyond repair or anything like that, it's just a little annoying considering the package clearly wasn't big enough to fit in the box without bending it. Oh wow that's awful. I mean I don't know how rare it is but none of the local stores in my area had it. Not that that means much. that's horrible. Maybe it's my location, but USPS is always quick about getting stuff to me. I usually get things long before the estimated delivery date. I don't know if that's because of them, though.
