Hopefully I read enough to get the gist of it.

Seceding is the cowards way out (as I previously stated on a paper about the civil war) if they think America really needs another civil war then they've got another thing coming. I'm hoping the president does what either Lincoln or the president after him did (I can't remember who it was)

A couple of people were trying to cause another civil war and he said, "this is NOT HAPPENING AGAIN!!!" So he told them he would personally come down there build gallows and then catch them and hang them on those gallows if they didn't stop causing problems.

Seriously this is out of hand. It's like no one thinks about what will happen when they make stupid decisions. This is what got us in this depression. Not using our brains (full of logical information by the way)

Texas has been talking of splitting since the Alamo. Will it be structurally or logistically possible: no. If Texas were to become a soveriegn state, tariffs, taxes, etc would skyrocket not to mention a new generation of immigration.

Would this mean that IF Texas were to secede, that we would see King George W Bush...or perhaps Lord Chuck Norris.

    Bush is from Connecticut.

And Fox News is incredibly conservative. It's impossible to find a media source without a natural political bias.

    BBC? =D

But seriously, everywhere seems to be trying to secede. Scotland was talking about it (the nationalists recently won a majority >_>) and the whole Troubles have been about people wanting Northern Ireland to become part of the Republic and that all flared up again.

But he was raised/spent most of his life in Texas.

Anyway, good luck with that. You have a bunch of crazies versus roughly 300 million other people. I don't think the odds are in Texas' favor in the event that they do try to secede.

Gosh, that's kind of scary. D8 I sooo hope that won't happen anytime soon, I swear. It's the last thing this country needs, seriously. And I find it kind of stupid that they would want to do that... ><

It's Texas. Of course it's stupid.
