    Call of Duty (mainly online)

    Why? The people that play it are biased dicks that believe they're immortal because they play it. Yes, there are people that are nice and that don't yell if they lose, but there are very few. If it weren't for this one thing, I'm sure I could actually enjoy this game.

    I would have to say most movie games, there are a few good ones out there, but majority they try to follow the story of the movie too closely and end up being an exact copy of the movie.[DOUBLEPOST=1356889143][/DOUBLEPOST]

    Football Simulators (or any kind of sport simulators) eg/ FIFA.

    If you want to play the sport, then get off your lazy ass and play the real thing ._.

    Games can have formulas, it's what makes it the same series. It's merely a matter of whether there's new content that serves a reasonable purpose to the series that makes the cut.

    Maybe I worded it wrong. By formula I meant that they say nothing's changed from the last game except the art design, yet they play Madden.

    But I agree. Madden's been doing the same things for years now. Same game, nothing more, nothing less.

    Games like that can't progress though. It's so dependent on the real life game that it serves no other purpose than wearing the same uniforms as the real players et cetera.

    ITT: Weabos hate on sports games

    Sports games are simple yet fun and have updated and sometimes new features with each installment, one of the main draws being new rosters and up to date stats and teams and a game that'll update itself based on injuries and such and also graphics that make it look like you're watching a real game on TV and not playing one on a console. And every game has a formula, sports games are to simulate a sport. Zelda is go through the dungeons and beat the bosses, KH is go to the worlds and HEARTS EVERYWHERE SLEEP BLAH BLAH so really anyone can call any game repetitive and doing the same thing. Nomura has been doing the same thing with KH for the past ten years without giving us a third game, but I digress. Another of the main draws for many people playing college sports games is that you can take control of people that you know. I personally find it pretty cool to be able to play the new NCAA football games and be able to score touchdowns with people who I played football with in high school.

    Strategy games shouldn't exist, well--Kingdom Hearts is an exception but still, they'll drive you crazy when you can't get past a level. Pokemon's a strategy game, but it's really easy. It depends what game level a strategy game is in.
