Birth by Sleep Terra and Zack...

    Okay...I know they're completely different characters but...what if Nomura chose the character design for more than just, "Zack is awesome. He must be in another game NAO! Oh but we'll make him into a different guy..." What if it is there to symbolize something.
    Look at Zack. Let's refer to him from Crisis Core. He pretty much gave up everything to protect Cloud. A blond guy.
    Ven looks like Roxas. What was Roxas's name before we knew his name? Blond haired kid. Ven is basically Terra's, Cloud.
    Yeah...it might sound like a rip off of Crisis Core but it could be possible that Terra is going to spend a lot of time protecting Ven and eventually, like Zack, dying as a hero.

    It really helps to understand this if you played Crisis Core...but what do you people think? Symbolism of the possible fate of Terra? Or just something that won't happen?

    It makes sense, when you look at it like that. And it is entirely possible that Nomura would have intended to have that kind of symbolism in BbS

    Well, Nomura IS known for using similar character designs for different characters, such as Axel and Reno or, as you mentioned, Cloud and Roxas (who looks like a mini Cloud Strife IMO). But, like Axel and Reno or Cloud and Roxas, they have absolutely nothing to do with each other, personality or story-wise.

    Of course, we could get into this whole argument on how those characters are in kind of the same situations, i.e. we first saw Terra in armor, making him look like some kind of soldier, and Zack is a SOLDIER; Axel's in an Organization of Nobodies, Reno's in an Organization of Turks; Cloud and Roxas are fighting with their inner darkness, Roxas because he's the dark side of Sora and Cloud because of Sephiroth, etc.

    But...I wouldn't put too much faith in anything right now. I mean, we still barely know what the game's about.

    Yeah, I understand what you're saying. Lol at the miniStrife thing...
    Nomura could just be using the designs just because he likes them. Isn't it a little weird though that there are quite a few connections in the stories of the original characters and the FF characters...inside KH and outside the series. Terra does defend Ven in one picture(the one where he's carrying an unconscious Ven and summoning his keyblade). So many little details that could all be explained by either simple coincidence or maybe that parts of the FF story are being reused or there is some symbolism behind the character designs...
    I guess if I'm right I'll be happy...but if I'm wrong I'll be happy because if I'm right...Terra will most likely die.

    But i like the idea though, and its kind of Nomura's thing to do that...
    Same with Reno and Axel....right?

    eh...I doubt it. Nomura likes to keep his ff characters original. I doubt BBS will follow the same story, (mainly because Aqua is a main character too) and just the fact that the setting, ideas, and even stories that have lead up to the game are way different.

    Well, it does make sense but I guess Nomura did something to make it seem like it ( my thinking). But it does make sense:

    Zack= Terra
    Ven= Cloud =Aqua? ( not sure where I got her from...) similar to Tifa or Aerith.



    But between the two stories, it could be different, having different stories.

    Yeah...I was just about to point out that too...and about the Reno and Axel thing. I wouldn't know...
    Nomura does like to keep his characters original but maybe he's getting some inspiration from Crisis Core/FFVII/The Last Order(they all deal with Zack saving Cloud and being dead). Or I could be completely wrong. But yeah...I'm glad Mexony new exactly what I was talking about...I think...>_>
    I like my theory but if it is somehow right then....Terra is doomed.

    Theres no doubt hes not getting inspiration, I was just saying the stories would be different which means that things wouldnt line up so perfectly, I.E. Ven=Cloud and Terra=Zack.

    True, looking at Reno and Axel looks pretty much the same to me..not sure how but as recalled "The Turks"

    Raxma: Terra and Zack's hair look the same or identical (which ever way) but different colour.

    anyway the similarities are numerous physically but they might not be the same. if he wanted to put Zack in the game he could have. just saying

    An interesting theory, however if Nomura was planning to do that then it would be a re-used plotline.

    Nope. He helped save Ven. He's obviously a good guy. He's the hero type in the game. He even said something like, "This power I use for my friends!"...would a bad guy say that?
    I know he isn't a bad guy. Ven might even pull off a Cloud and take Terra's armor and start thinking he's someone like him or something...for all we know. The Lingering Spirit could be Ven using Terra's armor and keyblade...but I doubt that last part. Although Ven could assume an identity similar to Terra's. If he's dead that is.

    But still,looks like he or Ven is gonna be using the power of darkness or become evil at some part of the game.
    Since on the trailer Terra said something about using a power for his friends,and Xehanort keep talking about something lost to Ven.
    And Ven using Terra armor and Keyblade sounds kinda possible if Terra dies/becomes evil.

    After reading countless theories of BBS, I started to figure Terra would die in the end of the game. I don't know, it's just some feeling I had.

    He's the hero of the story, alongside Ven I'm guessing, and risks his own life to protect the future or whatever. Kinda like what Zack did with Cloud. Both of them look alike, as I can see from someone's signature on this site. The Cloud - Ven/Roxas comparison and Zack - Terra comparison is kind of strangely coincidental. You never know, it could turn out that way.
