Here's the height of Ash in the first episode of Pokemon


What's with him being 10-years old and still reaching up to the guy's chin height? My brother is 10 and he's maybe only about 3 feet tall or so still. Do all kids in Pokemon just have growth spurts?

Professor Oak might be short, Ash is significantly shorter than a lot of the other people he meets. Also I was 5'2 when I was ten soo...

 

Um, if your sibling is 3 ft at 10 years of age, I think he should go see a doctor.

 

Well I was tall for my age, but yes, he's 10 and barely taller than a yardstick.

 

Oak is just short. Lucario is 4' 10" and barely taller than Ash.

 

I didn't pass 5 feet till I was 13.
Now I'm taller than most people who towered over me as a kid.

 

You were? I'm 18 and still haven't quite reached 5'2" xD I'm just tiny~

 

No, but all kids in Pokemon never age so they hit puberty at seven.
