Tekken

So I just got Tekken 5: Dark Ressurrection for my PSP a few weeks ago and it is a rather good game. A bit frustrating since the AI in the game seems intent on keeping you up against a wall if it gets you there.

But I've played every Tekken game since the original and it's a great game series that has just gotten better over time.

Anyone got a particular favorite of the series? Any particular fighters you like more than others? Any you can't stand?

I liked Tekken 3 but DR has taken its place due to the fact that DR on the PSP has the character of Dragunov. I still havn't gotten the hang of all of his combos though. That Systema/CQC based technique is fun to watch.

I have one character from Tekken I dislike and it's Jun Kazama. It's not so much here but it's here fighting style. She had this one cartwheel spinkick that took a quarter of your lifebar and the AI insisted on doing it more than once at a time.

-groan- Why must they ruin good video games with bad movies? I suppose we'll just have to see.

But why does the trailer look so bad? It looks like faces where photoshopped onto the characters.

 

I have Tekken 4. My brother beat it like 10 times. But he stopped D: but I still like it! :D It's a good game in my opinion! :D

 

My favorite Tekken was Tekken 3. It was a lot of fun. I dominated that game. lol

That's Dragunov. He's currently in Tekken 5 DR and will be returning for Tekken 6.

 

Tekken is so much love! It was one of the first games I got the PS if my memory's correct. I was such a Hwoarang fangirl 8D 8D 8D 8D

Gon was only good for his farting move XDD I could a whole Tournament just by doing that. LOL.

 

I have Tekken 5....but I only liked it because of Asuka and the arcade mode.

I'm not a big fan of Tekken, I didn't like Tekken 2, but I did enjoy Tekken Tag and Tekken 5. Due to my lack of a PSP, I haven't had a chance to play DR yet, but when I buy a PS3, I'll probably download it.

 

I played Tekken once. It was pretty sweet. I suck at it, but it's still fun. xD

Was it Hwoarang? That guy is so cool with his kicking.

But I prefer Jin from Tekken 4. Karate rocks and I love his Avenger attack.
