Just wondering, can the keyblade open any lock or just some?

They always said in the game that it opens any lock, so I think that's it. What kind of an all powerful key would it be if it couldn't open all locks? Did you ever see in the games anything the keyblade couldn't open?

I'm pretty sure that in the game it specfically said, something along these lines, 'The keyblade can unlock any object (desired) and also lock any door.'

What about that chest in olympus colloseum? That said "it won't open". I assume that was only game play though.

Why does your cookie jar... have a LOCK on it?

There's also a chest in Traverse Town that says that... But, it there was a story reason for that chest not opening... it's probably something like 'I'm not supposed to open this... Phil said it's for someone who proves themselves in the games'... or something like that anyway...

    Well... yes.

But you do not choose the keyblade - it chooses you. And so far I haven't seen it choosing some sort of a criminal.

And concerning those chests in KH, I think that was something that would have you do something else first, in order to be able to open it later. It doesn't have anything to do with the story overall, so those don't count. :x

Not entirely true. It went to Riku for a brief moment, and he was technically a bad guy.

I believe it can open any lock... unless they had to do something special first. Like Gummi ship routes... they appear to be locks... but you have to pass through the long way first before going through it automatically.

Yeap. The keyblade can unlock ANY keyhole. Now,for keyholes that can't be opened stated above, actually they CAN be opened, but sora didn't because he MUSTN'T open it.It's that simple ,really.

With the beam of light that comes out of the Keyblade when they open a lock (in KH2), whats with Sora using that as an attack against the last Xemnas?

    Xemnas isn't a keyhole....right? @___@
