Teenaged love

Valerie looked out of her bedroom window, the sky hard turned a soft navy blue and it was adorn with stars which made it look like a velvet blanket with diamonds stitched to it. She couldn't help but smile to herself. "I think I might sneak out for a walk..." Valerie whispered to herself. She got up off of her bed and walked over to her window, she carefully opened the window and climbed out.

 

Joscelyn continued to walk. She stopped for a few moments to glance up at the beautiful sky. wow its a really lovely evening. She began to walk again, but paused once she saw a figure under a tree. "Anyone there?" She asked

 

Seth sighed but continued to smile "its getting late but im enjoy just sitting here" Seth said and then looked at the person calling to him "yeah" Seth simply replied back

 

"Sorry if I am disturbing you," She walked over. "I just saw this figure and wasn't sure if it was real or my imagination."

 

"its alright I just like relaxing over here underneath this tree" Seth said

 

"Its always nice out here at night." She nodded. "My name is Joscelyn."

 

FJ was dribbling his basketball to the park so he can find a court and shoot a few baskets and to get away from stress for a while. His mom knew he was out and she was okay with it. She knew him to be the responsible type when it came to trust. FJ found a court up ahead and jogged toward it. Inside his head, he sighed. Summer vacation at a new town that they just moved to a few months ago, popular at his new school but not around this neighborhood.

"Okay, here we go..." FJ stopped in front of the free throw line and took a quick heave of breath and initiated his shootout around at the park. He jumped and shot the ball. The ball hit the rim and went off court. He waved his hand through his spikey blonde hair and shook his head. He ran toward the ball.

 

Valerie walked slowly down the cement path, taking in the surroundings around her as she did. Her parents were always out of town so she didn't feel nervous about getting in trouble from her parents. One of the advantages of living at home alone a lot of the time. "I wonder what I could do for now..." Valerie trailed off when she was walking past the local basketball courts. She noticed a blonde-haired guy dribbling a basketball around on the courts. Out of curiousity, she walked closer to the courts.

ooc: I'm gonna be back on in like, half an hour.

 

FJ walked towards the ball and picked it up. As he did so, he saw a black haired girl walking towards the court. He squinted his eyes as he looked at her due to the nightly darkness surround him and nothing but a few distant feet street lights. He then raised his right eyebrow. "Maybe she likes basketball? When was the last time I've seen a girl play basketball?" FJ thought to himself. He then remembered a quote his mom told him.

"Mae West once said 'You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.'" He then realized, while he was zoning on in his head, he was still apparently gazing at the female.

 

Valerie noticed that the guy looked like he was staring at her. She looked away in embarrassment. "Um, hi." she said shyly.

 

FJ rose from the stance he was in and leaned his shoulders back with his basketball at chest height. He looked at her black eyes, they complimented her hair. He stood there in position, feet firm yet calmly into the concrete floor. He tilted his head back an inch or so and signaled a fast nod. "Hey"

 

"the name is Seth" Seth said and looked up at the sky "yea it is pretty nice" Seth said

 

"Well its nice to meet you." She smiled. "I always like to walk home around this time."

 

Ooc: Is anybody gonna post, or is this rp dead? There's a lot of people from the first page sign-up list.

 

ooc: I've been busy with school work and my internet died, that's why I haven't been on.

bic:Valerie walked closer to the basketball court, her arms were wrapped around the front of her waist. She didn't really like playing any kind of sports but she did find them interesting to watch. "It's a bit late to be out at this time of night isn't it?" Valerie said in a playful tone.

 

OCC: I have just been waiting for a response.

 

FJ smirked as he motioned his head downward. "Not really. Usually, on a night like this, it's pretty early for me." FJ stated remembering the parties he had been invited to due to his jock-esque status. He shifted his basketball to the right side of his hip. "Is it normally considered late at this time around here?" FJ questioned as he surfed his hand through his hair.

 

"yea around this time it always feels nice to be outside" Seth said

 

"It's usually late for me, my parents are pretty strict when they want to be." Valerie muttered shyly. She remembered the time she spent in Japan a couple of years back, she enjoyed her stay there and all but she was always so stressed from being on such a tight schedule for school and everything.

 

"Do you live far from here?" Joscelyn asked. "Or do you always sleep under this tree." She smiled and tilted her head like a puppy.
