Can't believe they're remaking it. Doesn't look bad in my opinion. Thoughts?

Are they making another show or movie?

If it's still being made a movie by Michael Bay then no, it does not look good and you are foolish for thinking that.

It's it getting redone for a 3rd time as a t.v show i'd like to see more, links?

Not sure about the film, but the show should be releasing soon on Nickelodeon.

    Show: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teenage_Mutant_Ninja_Turtles_(2012_TV_series)
    Opening:

Not sure on how I feel about this quite yet. The voice cast is what really interests me since they have the the original Donatello voice.

Oh dear, im not really a fan of the animation style, looks really odd. Who knows though, might be decent, TMNT was always a great show, loved the 2003(4?) series.

The animation is one of the things that makes me hesitant.
Might try and watch the first episode later, it apparently premiered today.

Likewise. I've always been a fan with the 2003 series, everything from animation, to looks, to voice acting. I guess it's because I grew up with it, but I have gone back and watched a good amount of the original series and the 3 "Real Life" movies. I was hesitant at the 2010 movie or w/e, but that one was animated and was pretty good.

I dunno if I'll give it a try, because I don't have cable or dish et cetera in my apartment. Most things I'd have to see online. But if it's good I'll definitely watch it.

So...am I the only one who watched it? By the time the first reply to this thread was made, I was already in the middle of the show. Decided to see it because I watched the old series. Honestly, it was better than I expected. Some things were different from the original story but it wasn't bad. I thought it was funny. I'll be sticking around for the second episode at least.

Splinter was human. That was weird but I got over it. He had a sadder background this time around though.

Just saw a rerun. It looks ok. I like it, but I prefer the 2003 series over this one.

I also saw a supposed official trailer for the Michael Bay movie. It looks good, still hesitant on their alien origin. Also, the freakin' lips on the turtles...

    EDIT: Link:

Hmm, just saw that trailer and to be honest, (it's not because it's being directed by Michael Bay), but it felt... underwhelming?

I get the whole "darker" tone of the thing, but for this first impression, it just doesn't sit well with me. Again, might change my mind when there is a real trailer, but it's not really making me jump for excitement.

I'm also pretty disappointed about the whole alien origins thing, but I hope by then I am willing to have an open-mind about it. It all depends on the execution of the film.

As for the TV show, saw one episode of it and thought it was decent. The 3D animation was a bit awkward for me, but I could see where they were trying to go with it. Sorta.

And they always have to do these movie and cartoon show tie-ins to promote on both ends of the spectrum. Michael Bay's Transformers and Transformers: Animated is an example of that back in 2007.

...Fairly certain this isn't a real trailer, it looks like it was made as a college project.

That's why I said supposed official trailer. Either way, it's just the freakin' lips that get me every damn time...

Only saw half an episode, I still like the 2003 season better even though i'm still mad they never really finished back to the sewers (2003 season 7). I really enjoyed The "Ninja Tribunal"/Lost Episodes arc (season 5)
