I see nothing wrong with tatoos. It's that persons way of wanting to artisticly express themself. When I turn 18, I plan on getting a tatoo on my right arm near the shoulder. It's going to be a cross with a design around the top of it. It's not going to be overboard, but sized to fit. Black and grey for me.

But yes, it is something you have to carry with you all your life. Unless you decide to have it removed with laser surgery later in life. So make sure you're 100% positive on getting it and that it's what you want.

That's the kicker here. Anywhere in town now, we have to sign a contract stating that we haven't had any bit of alcohol in the last 24 hours, and someone with you to co-sign if you are under 18...

I really think that it depends on the design you get. Some people get the weirdest tattoo designs and it looks ridiculous. But then there are those that get their whole arm done and the designs are really well done and thought out. I like those tattoos, they have character.

Personally, I really want a tattoo, but everyplace I was thinking my sister called a tramp-stamp ;-; (ie. side of hip, tail bone, ankle) Those aren't really tramp-stamps are they?

Tattoos? Um... Yeah they're ok i guess. If they're something you want for the rest of your life, otherwise i wouldn't get one. Some look pretty good others just have no meaning at all. I would get a temporary one but not a permanent one, if it was small, maybe. I'd probably regret it though.

Most tattoos bother me. But some are interesting. ^^

    But I'll never get one.

See a lot of people are saying about not getting ones that look stupid or silly but, to the person themselves it might not be so silly. Plus, I don't think you should get a tattoo just because it looks pretty, if I did get mine done, I'd want them to be representative of something important to me or to mark a specific point in my life. I have contemplated getting my neice's and nephew's names tattooed on my arm, but I decided not to because of when my other sister has kids, I'll have to do the same and I'll end up with a register on my arm.

The only one that is really a tramp stamp is on your lower back just above your ass. I have never heard your hip or ankle refered to as a tramp stamp, I'd ignore your sister, sounds like she is talking about something she has no clue about (though of course it could be me that is wrong :v)

I actually really like tattoo's they are something that shows who you are and what your personality is, as for the people with 'silly' tattoo's im pretty sure it would mean something to the person who done it. So when i turn 18 i want to get one, something small that reminds me of good times or something that i will never want to forget. But then i have my family that don't exactly aorove tattoo's and i would be afraid of what they would think of me.

I would like a tatoo, and i support people who do... just as long as they don't go over the limit. I want one, but i can't swear without people gasping.. me getting a tatoo will make them faint xD

I actually see a lot of Aussie tatoos with a big ass kangaroo with 8 packs saying "Join or Leave". I actually want to get back at them by showing my English pride... but the only thng i can think of is having the word "England" written in mid size letters (you know what i mean) across my lower back. (not as low as what CtR meant)

oh screw my idea...im gonna get this xD

I love tattoos, but some of them are way overdone.
The coolest looking one I've seen was on this guys chest, the tattoo made it look like his chest was ripped apart and the Spiderman costume was underneath (think of Superman ripping his shirt when he changes)
but I could never get that, it'd be too...weird.
I"m getting quite a few though

I'm gettin a small nautical star (initially an asterisk but i changed my mind) above my elbow and a little towars the inside, it's rather pointless but still.

I stole this idea from someone, it's a skull on the inside of the ear with the spinal cord tracing my ear, but that would hurt so much to get.

I'm gettin the Dominican Coat of Arms over my heart (latin pride!)

And a laughing skull with the bottom jaw being a crown (I ripped that off a manga but I fell in love with the design) but I'm spending the time until I turn 18 modifying it. NOt sure where I want to put it.

My friend's mom's brother in law is a tattoo artist, he drew a rose design on a peice of paper, tattooed it right above her chest, and burned the paper, so it's a pretty unique tattoo, i think that's cool.

Can you imagine getting a tattoo on the bottom of your feet?

I've never really understood the point of tatoos.

One or two is fine, but more than that it looks cheap. (my opinion)
I don't mind them on guys, but more than two, like all down the arms of girls look trashy. Thats my opinion! Okay but if you like them, then go ahead :)
I am getting one on my arm near my wrist, not on! Of Riku (in my sig) :D
