Tales of Symphonia

I've played it plenty of times, although I don't own it. It matches my system, and so now I'm dieing to get it. I've saved up, unluckily, my dad now owes me lots of money because of $200 he borrowed from me, so now I'm waiting for him to get me back that money, and get to that game.

Anyone heard of it?

Own it, love it, can't wait till the sequel comes out.

It's classic and hands down one of the best RPG's to grace the gamecube.

 

heard it was good. in fact ALL the "tales of" games are good, except Legendia. tho if you own a PS2 and can play imported games, i would also recommend playing "tales of Destiny : Director's Cut" which is Jpaanese yes, but one of the most awesome games ever

This game is so awesome! Gameplay is fabulous, storyline is fabulous, graphics are pretty kool, there's not much wrong with the game overall.

I seriously can't wait for Ratatosk. It's gona kill so bad. Too bad you can't use Kratos...O well, I liked Zelos better anyways.

 

Meh, I never liked most of the 'Tales of' games. Most just run together into a gray blob in my head. Only a few like Symphonia and Phantasia stand out for me. But yeah, ToS is a great game. On top of that, it has some replay value due to the end of game specials stuff you can get to carry over and the fact that every action affects things like friendships and cutscenes. Plus if you got Kratos/Zelos the first time, then you can get Zelos/Kratos the next time~

 

i heard this game was VERY short tho, i dont' know if that's true

 

It's two discs long. Not short =3.

I love this game ^^. get it, seriously, it's awesome.

 

Seemed pretty long to me <_>. It's like, two discs lol. But I guess if you skip the long cutscenes and dont go for any of the powerful weapons and summons, its pretty short.

 

i own the PS2 version and i made a patch to translate some if the menu's
its a fun game, but a shame the PS2 port never made it to america or europe

2nd best game in the world, KH2 beets it by a little. Its awesome, bottom line, just go and buy it once you get the money. Like someone said before, all Tale of games are fantastic exept for Legendia. To bad it doesn't rival Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, and Kingdom Hearts as much as i hoped it would.

Own it, one of my favorite RPGs by far. The sequel coming out for Wii will be gawdly. End of message.

i really like this game good battle system and storyline but tales of destiny dcs battle system is much better.

 

In my opinion, Kratos's attacks are slower which MIGHT be more accurate...But I like Zelos better because he seems more agile.

Ratatosk is the sequel or AKA: (if you want to call it) Dawn of the New World.

 

Lloyd would be my main fighter in this game...
Since hes really quick, and has a large array of special attacks.

 

I bought this game when it first came out. Loved it, played it for hours but then i had exams n' never finished it. I lost my place n' could never get into it again. I never did finish it, lol.

I''d need to restart it again. *sigh*

I was like 70+ hours into it.

 

Does anyone know where to buy it anymore? they use to have at game stop and at frys but now no more TT_TT not even wal mart or target has it.... so is it better than tales of the abyss its the only tales game i own -_-
