Author's note: None of this comes from any movie or book that has action, ninjas, dragons, kids with Animal DNA, or Magic. So, I hope you enjoy this story of mine.

    Prologue

The freezing rain that hurtles itself towards my skin is unbearable. As my arms are painfully wrenched from behind, I don't cry out in pain. Instead, I bite my bottom lip as I feel something warm and wet prickle its way down my skin.

'How did I ever end up here?' I questioned myself, my chest starting to heave up and down.

"This underling isn't even listening to me." The captor in front of me chuckled.

"Come now..." She bends down to me, her cold, calculating eyes fixed themselves in mine. "Can you just pay attention for One, measly minute?!" Her eyes turned a coal black, her teeth turning into large, menacing fangs.

I don't answer, my breath coming in and out in shallow, uneven breaths. Looking around, all I see is the darkness around me, my three captors, and a large pile of rocks off to my right.

"Come on, speak little birdie." She cooed, her fangs getting sharper. "Tell me where you came from."

"No..." I manage, feeling the two hands on both of my wrists become tighter and more alert. I yelp quietly to myself, not letting her get what she wants.

"You just made the most biggest mistake of your life." She sneered, taking a step back and lunging at me.

The last thing I remembered was a pair of claws an inch from my throat.

This is just the beginning of my bitter, brutal, life, and your about to get sucked into it.

    ********

You could hear my small whimpers on the night of January first, becoming shrill by the time the night was over. As my mother handed me over to my father, I screamed, not wanting to move.

Dad had nodded back at mom, who covered her face and shame and proceeded to bawl tears out for hours, watching as her newborn was taken from her, not even an hour old.

Ever since then, I grew up in a under cover ninja school, which was disgused as a "School for troubled teens." My only friend was Risa, a flexible girl that does wonders with guns.

The day that I had arrived, I had taken them both from her and earned her life long respect. We did almost everything together, we shared clothes, makeup, even shoes. Typical girl stuff, if you say so yourself. But underneath that "Girly" exterior, lay two girls with bad attitudes.

"You're leaving?!" She shouts, throwing me her shoes. "Yes, but only because She told me too." I sigh, catching the shoe without even lifting my head. "You can't leave! She's just being a big pain in the a**!"

Smirking, I look up at Risa, and pull her down to the ground. "I know, but once I come back, I'll have smuggled a week's worth of chocolate in my suitcase." Risa's eyes light up. "Yay!"

But that was a week ago. Those happy days are over.

    Chapter One: Run

"Risa...Where are you?" I look around my damp, dark and musty cell. Quickly, I tug on my chains that raise my arms and constrained them to the wall.

'Come on, LeeLee.' Risa's voice echoed throughout the chamber. "Don't call me LeeLee!" I snarled, twisting my chains again.

"Fire." I whispered, summoning fire to my fingertips and letting it catch the metal. Within seconds, the flames licked the walls and most of the floor, just leaving a small circle of protection around me.

"Help!" I screamed, smiling to myself as I heard heavy footsteps head for me, three guards coming with my captor.

"No! What did you do?!" My captor, Dr. Vans, shouted, desperately clawing her way into the door. Turning my attention away from her, I looked at my chains, which were completely burnt off.

"Bye, Suckers." I stood, shooting the flames toward the door. The guards and Dr. Vans recoiled, eyes widening.

I turned around, climbing up the rocky wall toward the window. My sneakers slipped a little, but I quickly recovered and scaled upward.

BAM! A small hole implaed itself near my right hand. "Try to take out my good hand, why don't you?"

I turned, one hand still pressed to the wall. Growling, the flames shot up closer to them, making them shriek.

Dr. Vans lowered her gun. "You come back! I'll shoot and make sure you die!"

"You can't kill a girl. Especially this one!" I jumped upward, grabbing the ledge of the window. It must have been at least 20ft up, since the climb was long and envigorating.

"Risa, Jacob, Ohana....I'm coming back home. Soon." I stood on the ledge, maybe at least 255ft in the air now.

The cold air plused through my hair, the sea below teeming with Alligators and other deadly animals. Taking a huge breath, I jumped, headfirst, and ready to "Die".

    ************

Across the world in Tokyo, Japan, Ohana walked swiftly through the hallways of Hikari: School for Troubled Teens. It was a good thing she learned japanese her junior year of high school, it was needed greatly.

Ohana stopped, dead in her tracks and shivered. "Leila!" She shouted, dropping her things and running to Risa and Jacob's next class. "Ree, Jay! Leila's in trouble!"

Risa's light brown eyes widened and then got determined. "I knew it! We have to help her." Her black hair fell out of its bun, covering her shoulders.

Jacob rolled his green eyes, scoffing. "Leila can take care of herself. Ohana, just Cause your her sister, doesn't mean you feel everything that goes on with her."

Ohana crossed her arms, pouting a little. "Fine. Don't come and try to kick the instructor's butt with us."

    Keep up the good work.

NOTE: on one of the bottom lines, you said Leile's not Leila's.

Chapter Two: And Don't look back

The wind whipped past me, sending my hair upward swiftly. Down below, the Alligators snapping their wide jaws eagerly.

I smiled at them, watching as the tiny teeth got bigger and bigger. Looks like the end for me.

    Not.

I swing my legs so that they connect with the first Alligator's eyes. "Yah!" Rapidly, I jump off of it, landing on another who growls in protest.

I do the same to all of them, calmly getting to the other side without so much as a scratch. Turning, I wave to the Alligators.

"Thanks for the help!" I laughed, sticking my tongue out while dashing away. "Too easy, Dr. Vans. Too easy."

As I run through the dark forest, I flip up a tree and go to its top. It's warm up here, seeing that the forest below was completely shaded from the sun. Reaching in my pocket, I grab my IPhone.

Yes, ninjas can have IPhones too, you know. As I tipe in Ohana's number, I put it to my ear, hearing the high ring.

"Leila, what'd she do to you?" She asked, her tone grim. That's what I love about Ohana. She knows exactly what's going in my life, even when I don't.

"Nothing at all. I escaped before they could even touch me." I told her, crawling down to a lower branch. "And I mean it, Hana. I even checked my arms for shot marks."

Ohana may be three years younger than me, but ever since we started at Hikari, she constantly made sure I was safe. I always told her to knock it off, but she wouldn't.

"Are you sure? Oh, never mind, I know where you are. We can see if you checked your arms in about two minutes, m'mkay?" She giggled darkly as I almost fell out of my branch.

"W-What'd you say?" I demanded, hanging on with an arm. "You heard me. Me and Risa are coming to get you."

"So, no Jacob?" I asked, feeling a little pressure lift off my chest. "Oh, I forgot to tell you. He's with us too." Hana snickered, hanging off.

Two seconds later, you could hear a small thump! at the forest floor. A minute later, you could see ME falling to the floor in shock, my eyes wide open.

    ******

Ohana was on the floor, literally rolling around and laughing. "Omigod! She's probably like, 'Oh, no! Jacob's coming and I doon't know what to wear!'" Risa laughed, putting her long dark hair in two ponytails.

"What's going on?" Jacob entered the room, his green eyes annoyed, making the girl's suck in their laughter. "Did you guys make fun of her again?"

The two girls nodded, tears coming out of their eyes. "W-we're not sorry!" Hana chuckled, whezzing. "Can't breathe..."

"Yeah, if she tries to kill us, I don't care. That was worth it!" Risa agreed, her hands on her stomach.

Jacob looked at the two, then walked out. He didn't have time for those two.
