"Mm... Maybe..." Kuroi mumbled in agreement. She did seem like a beta tester because she knew so much. "Anyways, let's not worry about her then. We should focus on splitting up into groups. We need two leaders. Any suggestions?"

"Oh oh! I nominate.... um..." Ittoki scanned the faces of all his party members, pondering over who should be a leader of one of their sub-parties. "Masa-kun!" Ittoki pointed his right index finger at Masaru.

    OOC: nominate leaders i guess?

Masaru was surprised at Ittoki's choice of nomination, but then again he shouldn't really be, after all he did point out various helpful suggestions which everyone seemed to agree despite there onyl met for proabbaly only an hour or so and he did have a grasp on the system mechanics. "Well, if everyone else wants me to be one, but honestly, I never considered myself as a leader or anything." he said sheepishly.

"Well, you do seem to know lots about SAO and you're pretty good at making strategies and explaining them to us. That's why I nominated ya~!" Ittoki said. "So how about it, guys? Masa-kun as a leader for one of our sub-parties?"

"Then I'll be one." Kuroi raised his hand, volunteering. I can't lose to him. I have to be the better strategist! "Are you guys okay with me being one?"

"I second both votes," Meerna threw in, thinking it would be easiest and quickest if there were no fighting about who would be leader of either group. So far things appeared to be running as smooth as possible, but who knew if anyone would say otherwise. She could only hope for the best. After all it was a pain to be just standing around idly when there was so much work left for her to do.

Mya sighed, not really caring about who's leader or who's not, but also feeling a little hurt since she also did plan a lot of things as well. Not like they want a female leader... "Can we vote some other time? We can kill the boss first and then vote later."

Masaru heard Kuroi's nomination for himself and he rubbed his hair. "Alright, I guess me and Kuroi are Leaders, choose who you want to be with and join the Leaders, then, we'll go and fight the boss." he said and looked at them who had surprised looks.

"As much as I don't want to go into battle underleveled and we're just newbies, I don't fancy leaving anyone to die, escpecially peopel who go at it alone, even if they are a Beta Tester, we are all in the same boat anyway." he said to them.

Edging around the corner, he found it empty...save for the little glow of several green cursors. Eeeehhh...why were people just standing around in a monster ridden dungeon? Moving closer, he listened to them yammer on about leaders. Well at least they weren't completely oblivious... A devilish smirk spread across his lips. It was too bad he couldn't hide his orange cursor. Playing as a Red Player sure was going to make tricking the little newbies difficult. He whistled loudly as he leaned against the wall behind the rather large group. "Newbies taking on the boss? Sounds pretty foolish to me. You kiddies would be better off back in the Town of Beginnings where it's...safe." He couldn't help but smile at the word. No one was safe in this game...unless all they did was hide out in town. "At least...it's safe from monsters." He had the insane feeling like his cursor was glowing brightly...it wasn't but he felt like it was so obvious.

Chuuya has been pissed ever since he got this game and logged in on the first day. Sword Art Online, more commonly dubbed by everybody SAO. At the end of the first day, when everybody was starting to log off.......nobody could. Then the game's creator and GM for the server that they were on appeared in the Town of Beginnings, the first floor main town, and told everybody that this was now a game of death. The first week was pretty brutal for everybody. People losing their mind to the game, comitting suicide, taking on to much than they could handle, players killing players, or some players just accepting their fate and making a new life for themselves in the game. Chuuya didn't take too kindly to somebody telling him and making him do something that he didn't want to do, so chuuya decided to play his game, so that when he gets out and get his revenge on him, making him and everybody pay for playing this death game. Chuuya had been grinding as much as he could where he could. Everybody was out doing the same thing he was doing, trying to get out. The pickings were beginning to become slim around here with everybody lvling up and looking for the boss room to move on to the next floor. Chuuya had heard rumors that some of the players had found the dungeon where the boss was located, so decided to stock up on everything and head to where the dungeon was to grind on the enemies there and maybe even take that boss down by himself.

Mya turned towards the direction of the voice. She then reached her hand towards her weapon. "Don't you have anything better to do rather then scaring off a bunch of beginners? Why do you care anyways?" She kept her eyes on the wall where the mysterious man spoke, not liking his tone of voice. "It's none of your business anyways."

Star was heading towards the boss door where a group of monsters had a good spawning nest. It was a great place to grind while she waited for the others to decide upon the conclusion. She began to think back to her real life. She was young, rich, had a singing career... had opportunity. Here it was survive or die. The real world was the same in a way. Here, survival was multiplied by threat in every cornet. Not even the players would be trusted. Trust. That was a big thing she has almost lost. She battled a few of the creatures more furiously while waiting. A thought came to her head, the boy, Masaru. The way he looked at Star. It gave her unease. It was a feeling of interest yet a feeling of anger. Something about the way he looked at her confused her. After the spawn timer reset, she decided to maybe give the group another chance. While walking she saw a man. A man who began to call out the others with their skill. She was in the beta and knew they were better off then most at this time. "What do you know. These guys are plenty strong enough to take on the boss. He isn't that difficult. Back in the beta he was simple enough for a team of two to take on." She revealed it. She admitted she was a beta tester.

Did no one notice his cursor, or did they just didn't know what it meant? It was possible he was merely a thief or a low leveled criminal, but even then it was dangerous. She worked hard to get everything she had now... Sure it was newbie stuff but that did not change the fact that once lost it would probably be gone for good. Not to mention getting them back if she lost her weapon... Well, that would be difficult, to say the least.

And if he was a PK... Sure she considered being one herself in the BETA, but that was different. It wasn't murder then.

Speaking of the BETA, seems like she wasn't the only tester here. But the other one was wrong... Two players only? Well, perhaps if they were both level three or so. Or just well trained. It varied on the group really. This one...would probably need the extra hands. Back to the more important issue though.

"As an honorable merchant I have no time for the likes of you. Anyone who steals what they want...or do worse things... Should just stay away."

Masaru noted the different coloured cursor above the newcomer's head and spoke. "We may be foolish but we chose this path because all of us have the desire to beat this game and return home, we know the risks invovled but we aren't going to back down from this." he said to the Red Players with a calm tone. "We work together to survive to progress further, so thank you for being concerned but it's unnessescary."

He then looked to Star who openly admitted she was a Beta Tester, how would everyone else react to this infomation? "A Beta Tester are you?" he asked a she closed his eyes, most Beta's left to advance, leaving many newbies behind but she stayed on this floor, if her infomation was accurate, then it should be possible but a Beta Game and the worldwide version may have small differences. "If what you say is true Star, then I'll believe in your words." he said without hesitation, some may call him being to trusting or naive but that's just how he saw things.

"OH~~~ There's another player over there~~!" Ittoki jumped up and down. "Hi~~~!" He waved his arms at the girl. When she came over, he noticed that she looked quite familiar. "Hey, I think I've seen you before. A-AH! N-No I'm not hitting on you or anything, but--" Ittoki got extremely flustered. "It's just that I've seen you before somewhere... Oh! You look a lot like this singer IRL." He felt he was right, because he had seen a singer that looks exactly like the Player in front of him. He was a singer too, so it's obvious that he's seen her before. Maybe STARISH had worked with her in the past. "Have we worked together before, IRL?" Ittoki asked the girl.[DOUBLEPOST=1354668637][/DOUBLEPOST]"Oh. And by the way, I'll be in Kuroi's group." Ittoki said.

Holding up a finger to Star behind him, he pushed off of the wall and tapped his sheathed sword against the floor, "Now now...no need to be so hasty here. Honestly I'd rather not get involved...but as you can see I'm heading that way also. Even..." he flicked a cold glare behind him to the Beta Tester, "If you believe you could take down the boss with two people, Ms Beater... This isn't the Beta version anymore and these...are a bunch of low leveled beginners...am I wrong?" He noted their reactions and it seemed only one or two knew what his orange cursor meant and he could use that to his advantage later on. "As for your accusation my lovely little merchant... I'm no thief. If I even wanted what you have, it would cost me a tiny fraction of my Col. I, my friends...am a Player Killer." He enjoyed their expressions for a moment, even if it meant he had to give up his secret. "You see...my theory is if you die by monsters you may very well die in reality. But perhaps...dying by the hand of someone close to you, like another player, will set you free from this game. Anybody wanna try it out?" Dropping his hand to the hilt of his sword, he drew it slowly, letting the ring sound out. Red-brown eyes shifted to the one who'd spoken about idols. "Annoying..." He took a single step towards them, flexing his fingers around his sword, he dashed, his sword stopping inchest away from Ittoki's face. "I hate idols."

"I hate idols." the boy sneered. "Meanie--" Ittoki started to say, but found a sword tip held inches from his face. He looked at it, crosseyed, automatically holding his hands up. Ittoki gulped.

    Kuroi's POV

Kuroi gripped the hilt of his katana, as the boy stepped closer to Ittoki. The boy's hand moved to the hilt of his own sword and Kuroi automatically unsheathed his katana. "Hold it right there." Kuroi threatened, holding his katana at the boy's neck. "You must be really stupid, taking on a group as large as ours by yourself. You're just asking for a death sentence." Kuroi frowned, looking the boy straight in the eye. He pushed his glasses up with his free hand.

Mya whipped out her sword and pointed it at him, unsurprised about his claim about being a PKer, already having a thought about it."Listen Mr PK man. We don't take kindly on people threatening our friends. Besides, its you who need to be set free or whatever. It's scum like you who make this game a more horrible environment. killing others for your own entertainment. we are not afraid to fight".

Masamune shifted his gaze from the frightened little lamb in front of him to the blade held at his throat. With a group their size it was possible they could take him out...but a bunch of frightened kittens like them wouldn't ever kill him. "Oh, is that so? Then by all means...give me your 'death sentence'. For all that counts...I'm already dead." Straightening, he removed his blade from Ittoki's face and reached out, ruffling the boys' hair. "You guys are so annoying... I like you." He skimmed the group, taking in their low level equipment and frowned, "I do have a name...and I suggest you start using it unless you want me to kill you. It's Masamune. I've been playing games like these all my life...I've got nothing left to live for. What do I care if I die in a game..." His thoughts turned sullen, 'I should return to the front lines...but...not as a Red Player... Few more days...and I'll be in the clear.' He stared at the boss' door for a moment. Would helping these kids out a little gain him forgiveness? Did she really die in the real world? In his moment of uncertainty, he hadn't realized what he'd said aloud. "If they do die in the real world...then when we get out of here....I'd gladly pay for her life with mine." Stepping cautiously through the group, Masamune touched a hand to the door, pushing it open without a word to them.

Chuuya finally found the entrance to dungeon that held the boss to this floor. He entered and walked a good bit of the way into the dungeon without any resistance from enemies, until three lvl 2 sentinels appeared wielding swords against him. He unsheathed his katana and took a fighting stance ready to strike at them when they came at him. The one closest to him charged him and he leaped forward with his faster speed and reflexes and dealt the blow to the enemy sentinel. 1 minute and 17 seconds.....that's how longs its going to take to kill you........ and as he said that, he was charged again and the same thing happened.

Star looked out to Ittoki. The worst part of what Kayaba did was the fact her face was revealed and her identity could cause more harm than good. "I am not familliar to you at all. I cannot sing at all." She said it brilliantly. No lie could be felt in her voice.
To the PKer she new he was a fake. People back in the beta only had an orange cursor for committing crimes or simply attacking another player by accident. The first time someone had a red, they were almost immediately outcast. Only for murder does one get a red cursor. "You are no PKer. Crating fear is the last thing you want to do." Star charged at him with her sword stopping at his neck. "I will now hurt you. I am stronger than that. Be warned, threatening players like that may end your life sooner than expected." She knew they could win this game. This game had to be won.

Masamune dropped his hand from the door, his sword already touching Star's blade, shifting it away from his neck. He'd moved when she called him a fake. Why was it people were always trying to kill him today? Had he killed today? No. Was he going to? At this rate...yes. "You could call it an accident...but that was at first. It's been a week since we've been trapped in this game. I've done enough tedious tasts to rid myself of a cursor that brands you as someone not to be trusted. Earlier...was and accident. But Nakamara...was no accident. I set her free." The image of her surprise played in his head over and over. "You say you'll kill me? You say...creating fear isn't something I want? My how innocent you must be to believe that. How about we test your ability to--"
    "No!"
His hand jerked to a halt and he turned halfway to see two more players standing in the hall. "No?" he echoed. A frightened girl clung to her male partner. Her partner drew a short sword and a shield off his back, moving the girl behind him. "Th-that's right. Y-you can't go around k-killing people. It's wrong... A-and I know those people know it too. They'll f-fight you just as I w-will..." Irritation swelled inside his chest. Was it local idiot day? Who had let this coward out of its cage.
