Sword Art Online: Side Stories

OOC: Alrighties then. Without further ado, let us move on.

BIC: After a bit of walking the group did, they managed to reach the entrance of the dungeon with very few opposition. "Well guys, we managed to get to the dungeon without getting any serious injuries or halts. Make sure you guys check your equipment. There's no telling what will happen in that dungeon. A lot of players die in dungeons. Stick together guys, and we should be fine."

 

(ooc: Yes please. <3 OOC stuff in the OOC thread por favor! Organization and whatnot. Carry on and good luck with the RP, everyone.)

 

:OOC: Sorry for the slowness. Been real tired lately. And I have limited comp time. But I'm still here and interested. I'll be replying to Mono, asap.​

Though his little group had fanned out, each remarkably getting into the swing of the fighting system for the game, he made sure to subtley keep them in a disorganized line. Since that would allow him to see them with one eye, and use his other eye for seeking anything that could be a threat too his students. Such as the young woman who approached him after giving a glance the twins way.

He folded his arms across narrow chest and cast his dark gaze at the smaller person who waved to get his attention. That gesture made him relax, just a smidgen. He didn't bother telling his students that he'd be talking to someone, that might throw them off when they need to pay attention in battle. Besides, the peripheal of one of his eyes was keeping a close tab on them. So, giving her a little nod and a small smile he spoke to her. "Hey, what can I do for you? You wouldn't be interested in learning a thing or two about the game..would you?"

He took in her appearance. Checking to see if he'd be the one learning something from her. But at his current skill levels, he couldn't detect much, if any difference between them both. So he let his question stand.

Even though she refused to venture far into this world since being trapped here that was not the case when she played the BETA version. She actually was one of the higher leveled players who made it pretty far. So, unless he was in it too, she doubted he had anything to teach her. However there were many courses in this game so who knew for sure.​

​

In any case she wasn't interested in being taught anything but acting like she knew everything there was to know would draw more attention than what she wished for. That'd be troublesome. So to avoid having to go down that path she had to focus here.​

"I'm Meerna, a merchant. And I'm more interested in selling you things than... What is it exactly that you do?"​

 

"Okay!" Ittoki gripped his knives, his knuckles turning white, "We made it!" The group stood in front of the entrance of the dungeon. Ittoki tried to cover up his fear by sounding cheerful, but failed as his voice noticibly wavered. Ittoki swallowed and took a deep breath. "L-Let's go!" Ittoki announced, pushing open the door.

 

He nodded his understanding before leveling his gaze at her. "I teach. People come, and I tell and teach what I know. Free of charge, of course." His eyes strayed from her for a brief second as one of older students fell flat on their bum. In a blink, his dark eyes were on hers again. "What have you got? I'm sure a few of them will need healing of some kind after this."

 

The girl didn't answer. Kuroi sighed and let his blade drop to his side. He fastened it back onto his belt. He then turned and left. Whatever... he thought to himself, It's not like I actually want to get in people's business... He sighed. It was hard for him to talk to people. Probably because of his expression. Everyone said that his face is always stuck in a glare.

Maybe he felt like he didn't want to live anymore. He didn't know exactly what he felt. His legs took him to this floor's dungeon.

As he reached the entrance of a dungeon, he noticed a group of other players standing in front of the door.

Nodding, she opened a trade menu with three healing crystals. That only left one for herself, but considering how she knew of the perfect place to collect them where she rarely had any problems she thought it would be okay to give him this many. Because even if she kept thinking it was only for the money she would hate to see others die when she could have helped them.​

"Would this be okay? If it is just add your price and if I agree that would be it."​

 

OOC: my bad....deleting desu...

 

Donations from the grateful students of his past allowed him to have enough Col to make a fair price. Only one or two would need a crystal so he could take whatever was left for himself. "How about fifty Col for all one three hundred Col for all three?" He knew the prices for one night at an inn. So he thought he was being more then fair.

His head tilted, someone had fallen again. But they were alright, so he let them be. The twins were taking on their second boar. He smiled, they were advancing quickly. His eyes flickered back to hers and he gave a small smile to her.

 

Ittoki's hands shook. I-I can't do this....W-What if I... d-die? He swallowed. "I-I'm sorry!!" He shouted. Ittoki turned on his heels and ran back towards town. He kept running, ignoring the other monsters that appeared. I'm such a chicken... Ittoki scolded himself. He was too busy lost in thought and he ran into someone. It was another player. He fell on his butt. "O-Ow...."

"Yeah, that's fine," she stated as she got ready for the trade, just double-checking to see if everything was in order. At this rate it seemed that she could get one of the finest houses available.​

​

But before they were finished there a boy came into the area, running recklessly. He'd even crashed into the other male. Oh, knowing their names would help so she glanced at the trade menu. Yugure seemed to be his username. And then her gaze wandered over to the other one, though she soon stopped as she realized she knew this boy. He was the one she had met back at the inn.​

​

"Weren't you at the dungeon? Where are the others you were with?"​

 

"No wait Ittoki! Come back! Oh man.." She scratched her head. "Man the stress must've gotten to him." She looked back at the others mournfully. "You guys don't have second thoughts do you?"

 

He was about to tap the icon for "Yes" to accept his trade after entering his Col amount. But the menu he had up suddenly disconnected as he was pushed forward and forced to balance himself lest his fall into his business partner's arms. He shook the stars from his head and whirled around, thinking he was ambushed by a boar. He didn't even waste time selecting his armor, instead his hand already in the stance nessessary to run a boar through. His sword materialized a few seconds latter. But mirth filled Yugure's face as he realised that this was just another player.

He sighed as his sword vanished back into his inventory, his plain hand now outstretched to the fellow male as he heard the woman talk seemingly as if she knew him. And though he was waiting on the boy to take his hand, his head turned abruptly at the mere mention of the word 'dungeon'. But he didn't push further, he just stared at the lady as if to verify what she said before giving a understanding smile to the fallen person, letting them know it was all okay.

 

Ittoki looked up and saw the merchant girl leaning over him. She asked him why he was there. "U-Um, it's nothing!" Ittoki used his usual cheerful voice, although it was not genuine this time. He hoped it didn't show. "I just got bored and left." Ittoki got up and brushed the dirt off his pants.

Elise, as well as the rest of group, reached dungeon. She watched and observed as Ittoki pushed open the door. His face went from one full of confidence, to one of fear. "This is not good. He's going to back out. I have to say something!"​

​

As she was about to open her mouth, the boy did exactly as she thought he would and ran away. Elise frowned and looked over at Mya, who was calling him to come back. Ittoki did not turn back around. "You guys don't have any second thoughts do you?" she said to Elise. ​

​

Elise bit her bottom lip in thought. Losing a person would decrease their chances of survival incredibly, but if they did not go on, she would never be able to escape and help her sister. "L-let's keep going...I need to get out of this game...I need to..." Her voice began to fade. She sighed and stopped for a moment to take a breath. "It's going to be hard for us get through it if we are the only ones though..."​

She scanned the area to see if there was anyone else who could potentially join the party. She noticed one boy standing a few meters behind them. She took a deep breath in. "ARE YOU GOING-" she covered her mouth in embarrassment. The boy's glaring eyes forced herself to look down at the ground. She didn't mean to say it that loudly. "A-are you going into the dungeon? Because i-if you are, would you like to join our party? Only i-if you want to o-of course..."

 

A girl's small voice squeaked, asking someone if they were heading into the dungeon. He looked at her, but she instantly looked at her feet. She asked him if he wanted to join their party in a REALLY tiny voice. Not again...I scared her. My eyes... Smile dammit! Kuroi did so. He felt it turn into an evil smirk. Damn forget about smiling.

He walked up to the girl. He reached out his hand to tilt her face up, but stopped himself. W-What are you doing, idiot? His other self shouted. Instead he opened his mouth and said, "Sure. I'll party with you guys."

He hoped that he didn't sound too cold. He looked at everyone else's faces and nodded to each of them as a greeting. He gripped his katana. It rattled in response. His heart was going crazy, either because someone actually talked to him without literally running after he acknowledged their existence, or was it because of that he thought the girl who stood in front of him was kinda cute.

 

OOC: Dear lord schoolwork can be terrible.



Fulmine squirmed and scrunched up his face slightly, as the girl held her tight death grip on his nose. Ouch. Ouch. Ouch. That girl really seemed protective of herself. But Fulmine understood why. He should stay calm. She was accusing him of outrageously silly things regardless!

"Pleaze," He began, his voice stunted in its breath with the pressure upon his nose. "There'z no need to keep doing dat. I'm delling you honezdly, I had no perverded indendions in my mind when I dezided to zee you!"

He thrust up his arms in the air for emphasis. "If you led me go, I can explain. I waz curiouz, to be honezd. I don'd like zeeing people zdanding alone by demzelvez. I waz juzd wondering if you we're gonna be okay!"

Fulmine stared intently at the girl pinching his nose. From this angle, she still seemed very small. He could potentially overtake her and release himself, but he did not want to harm someone like her so quickly - especially when he was trying to gain her delicate trust. She seemed like the type of person, to poor Fulmine, that trusted very rarely. But that was simply what he thought from all the types of people he did know, both offline and online.

What was more important to him was to make sure that this girl would at least stop moping by the wall like that. Though he certainly hoped he was not interrupting anything important.​

Shaking her head she sighed. Did he really leave the others out of boredom? Sure she didn't help other players but if she had joined a party for a quest she would not leave it until the quest had been finished. If not for the others' benefit then at least for her will to see things through to the end once she decided on doing something.​

​

But with how he was running it seemed unlikely. If he was just running he would have seen everyone here. Fear blinded people though, so that's the only thing she could think of to make him run right into someone. But it was only a guess.​

"What about the others? Just two players will have a hard time making it through that place. Three was the perfect party size."​

His stare made her somewhat uncomfortable. Her lower lip trembled and twitched as she watched him with wide eyes. Sighing and eyeing the alley wall, Emi gave in and let him go slowly.

"I'm fine." She answered, folding her arms. Her eyes were analyzing every nick, scratch and dent on the wall. I can't look at him. In truth, she was starting to feel guilty, hurting a person simply because he fell near her feet. Weakling. Viciously, she shook her head until she dizzy. Her head sank and it seemed to look like she was bowing for a few seconds before she bounced back vengeance. "Explain yourself, moron."
