BIC: Mya wondered why he paused before realizing she realized she hasn't even introduced herself to anyone. "Oh sorry my bad. I haven't even introduced myself. I'm...Mya. Yea Mya." She usually wouldn't ever give out her name in a game, but seeing how friendly the people she hung out were and the game felt like it was a part of her life...it made her feel comfortable to some extent.

 

"Mya-chan, eh? Cute name~" Ittoki said, innocently of course. "Hey, why don't we go and train after we eat and rest a bit? Want to party up?" Ittoki suggested, as he was already getting bored just sitting around. His body itched to fight monsters.

 

Mya blushed and looked away embarrassed. "I-Is the chan really necessary? Just Mya would be fine... Ugh anyways, sure why not. I really want a new set of armor and new weapons. Hmm...since we got ourselves a party, why don't we head towards the dungeons? We could easily take out the monsters in the dungeon, maybe even a boss if we're lucky enough."

 

"Eh? O-Okay! Mya then!" Ittoki turned to the others, "So howsabout some training? We can go to a shop after we eat and stuff, to restock on crystals and equipment. We should get more of the pink crystals that up our HP, so we can train longer. Oh! And don't forget to buy some of the blue teleport crystals, just in case!" Ittoki semi-planned out the outing, "After that, we can head out and train. We should also create a party, to be on the safe side. We can also view eachother's locations and HP bar in case we get split up. If that ever happens, teleport back here, the Town of Beginnings, but that shouldn't happen if we're careful enough." Ittoki was quite experienced in MMO's and other videogames, which is why he knew so much. "I just play alotta videogames in my free time back home!" he explained.

The boy at the table was 'kind' enough to grate her simple request, almost with a light tug she took it off him. Emi was about to go her separate way when the boy stopped her with a question she had already had heard too many times. "What is your name?". He was too cheerful. She didn't like that, she stared at him, clueless. Was he expecting her to pay attention? To laugh merrily and get along? He was a moron.​

"Emi." She said as firmly as she could as she eyed the others. With a quick turn on her heels, she was off down the small passage of space, hoping to prop herself against the wall, before the small group of three could do anything about it. She disliked interaction. ​

Ittoki watched as Emi quickly turned and walked away. He caught a small frown on her face. "Um... Was it something I said?" Ittoki asked. He felt like he did something wrong and chased her away.

 

Mya frowned as the girl ran off from them."Let her be. Not everyone is looking for a group. People are still coping with the fact they're stuck here. They sometimes want to fight alone. Sometimes...they don't want to accept it..." She shook her head."Anyways, everyone should get ready to prep up on items and equipment.

Elise watched Emi walked out of the inn. She was going to stand up and go after her, but Mya had told her to let Emi go. In thought, she looked down at her lap. Her nails were still painted a dark blue colour from before being trapped in the game. Her sister had done them for her. "I've just been a burden to everybody, haven't I?...Emi and Alice..." Elise thought to herself. She began to feel extremely apologetic. "Why can't I make anyone happy?"​

"Anyways, everyone should get ready to prep up on any items and equipment," Mya said, changing the topic. Elise looked up, tried to leave her previous thoughts and focus on training. She could think about those things on her own time.​

"O-okay, hold on a second." Elise opened up her weapon select screen and equipped her cutlass. She hadn't trained very much since the game started, but each time it felt like her weapon was getting lighter. She smiled a bit to herself. "Are we just going to train on boars?" Finally, a somewhat strongly said sentence. Elise was satisfied.​

 

Elise asked, "Are we just going to train on boars?"
"Uhm... I don't really know what else is out there. I don't really go too far from town to see for myself. I'm a bit scared to go out too far alone. But I guess we can try going out further into the field to see what other monsters there are. Do you guys know what other monsters are there?" Ittoki explained. "Why don't we talk about this on the way to the shop?" He said, getting out of his chair.

 

Mya stood up, stretching her arms." If you go out further, there are giant wasps as well as boars. Not as strong, but they can poison you. It won't kill you as long as you aren't careless. Now let's get going to the market district." She walked towards the exit of the inn, placing a coin on the front desk as a tip.

That seemed like enough of just watching once she heard their need to go to the shops. And it just so happens she hit the jackpot on crystals the other day. How much could she get out of them? From the looks of it they seemed to be an easy lot. But it also looked like they were leaving so she had to act fast, so now she jumped in front of the one who was heading towards the exit.​

​

"Sorry to be rude, but I happened to of overheard you all talking and by the sounds of it you need some supplies. So how about it? It's all cheap and plentiful." A week of this and she still rambled while trying to throw her sales pitch and even stumbled over her words at times. Though maybe she wouldn't do that now. "I've got healing potions and teleporting crystals. Just tell me how many you need and we can settle on a price."​

 

As the group headed out the door of the inn, a girl jumped out at them. She had long blue hair. She asked them if they needed any supplies. Ittoki turned to face the others and whispered, "Can we actually trust her? She's not an NPC shopkeeper. She has a cursor."

 

Mya was startled by the random girl popping up in front of them and offering to sell them crystals. It was true, player sellers can rip player off, but she knew the original prices of the crystals and was ready to back out if she made any sudden point to scam them. "I don't see why not. As long as they are below market price, I'm completely fine."

 

"...O-Okay..." Ittoki said reluctantly. "I guess we can see what you've got."

The boy lifted his eyes to the bright scenery around him.​

​

This haunting, yet beautiful world. It truly did feel quite unreal at times. And yet, he had to accept that it was, for now, his reality. He shivered for a moment as a cold wind swept through this old, empty alleyway of the Town of Beginnings. The wind seemed real. His back, touching the solid stone wall, seemed just as real as if he would have rested himself against his own home. It was all real, and yet, at times, it felt like it was simply a dream that had become too real.​

​

But could he truly consider it a dream, and not a nightmare? He lifted a palm to his taupe hair as he brought up the weapon equip screen. His rapier. How it seemed so natural for him to grab such a stinging weapon, and yet, be so careful in using it. Would he consider it a dream if he was forced to defeat the beasts of this game to continue to live?​

​

But the boy was not one to spend too much time pondering over things like this. No. He would have to stop that. He would have to stop that if he were to survive and change.​

​

The boy brought his two index fingers to the corners of his mouth, and moved them upward, transforming his set face into a sprightly smile. With a flighty step, he sprang off the wall and ran out of the alleyway.​

​

The alleyway lead out to a busy and bustling street. Very perfect. Shops, homes, and services lined the paved road, beaten by the thousands of footfalls from players and NPCs, drifting like the waves. He jumped on a barrel and looked out towards the end of the street. There was an inn far from there, among the throng of people. Wonderful! He was feeling quite hungry, anyway.​

​

Jumping off the barrel, much to the chagrin of an NPC, he began dancing his way around the people, with excuses and pardons thrown about the air like confetti. He would occasionally jump over NPCs; slide under the legs of players - he had to move quickly to get to the inn. But his curiosity was insatiable. He would occasionally duck to the side and look into the other alleyways. And it was through this that he saw something that he thought rather peculiar.​

​

A solemn girl, very young-looking and with blonde hair, stood by herself near a wall only a few metres away from the inn's entrance. To him, she seemed calm and focused. But he was wondering what such a girl was doing out here like this!​

​

He removed himself from the tide of people with a twirl of a motion, and stumbled over towards the girl in the alley, almost drunkenly, before he collapsed right by her feet. Oh how emerging from groups of people can cause one's motions to go all astray!​

​

He glanced up at the girl and her blue eyes. With his near-perfectly crafted smile, he called out:​

"Hi."​

IC: are you talking to emi, what? Just checking cuz emi's trying to sell stuff to us. I will post a story bit when I get home...

 

OOC: Yes and no. Meerna is selling stuff to us, but Fulmine is talking to Emi, the girl who ran away.
