"Ehhh?? Really, Mi-chan?!" Ittoki can't help but still call his friends by their nicknames, "Jya~~~ Let's see what ya got!"

 

She smiled and pointed her hand around the store. "Take a look around the store if you'd like. I have plenty of stuff available. I can also make one for you if you place an order."

 

"Really?" Ittoki clutched Mya's hands. Maybe it was time for him to get some outfits that he would really wear IRL, unlike the weird armor designs. Then he turned to Kuroi and grabbed his arm, "Let's go~~~"

"H-Hey!" Kuroi protested, but Ittoki didn't seem to hear him.

By the time they were done trying on many, many outfits, they finally chose one.

Ittoki settled on a hoodie, t-shirt and cargo pants. The hoodie was dark blue, the lining grey and dark grey striped. He picked a white t-shirt with a red collar and a simple design that said "Love and Music". Finally, he picked dark grey cargoes with a black belt, all put together with black high top Converse.

Kuroi picked out a slightly less casual outfit. A black and grey plaid shirt with a light grey v-neck undershirt with a white blazer jacket. He also picked out white slacks and white loafers.

"Ah~~~ Much more comfortable~~" Ittoki said with a huge smile on his face, "Hows this, Mi-chan?"

Kuroi stepped up to the counter with a bit of an embarrassed expression.

OOC: Based off this~~ Ittoki's the one with the red hair, like his ref. Kuroi's the guy with the blue hair on the left.

 

She gave both of them a warm smile. "They both look excellent on you. Now let me make the offer." She pressed a few buttons on the interface and then the clothes they wore now showed up in their inventory. "There you go. They're all yours to keep!"

 

"Thanks~ Mi-chan~~" Ittoki exclaimed as he double checked his inventory. "Oh! Are you busy right now? Wanna go hang out?"

Kuroi smirked slightly as he internally laughed at what Ittoki just said. It sounded just like a date. "Oh yeah... I gotta do something, so you two go ahead." Kuroi said and left the store.

 

Mya scratched her head. "Well...I guess. It doesn't seem like anyone else would be coming. I guess we can hang out." She nervously watched Kuroi leave the store. I hope he isn't thinking what I think he is. She opened up her menu and pushed a few buttons, closing the store. "So where do you wanna hang out at?'

 

"Mi-chan, change out of your armour, kay? I'll check to see where's a good spot." Ittoki swiped two fingers downwards, opening up the menu screen. He scrolled to the map and touched it. "Oh! Hey! Let's go to the Hill of Memories!" he called to Mi-chan. "There's some really pretty flowers there. Want to go see them?"

 

Even after re-entering the 42nd floor, Shiina began her training. "Let's go! Mina, Kuro! Initiate Tactic Seven!" Another player had willingly agreed to fight her in a training match held inside the town in a quiet area. Shiina's wolves crossed their paths and butted their heads against his thighs giving her an opening. Sprinting in, he moved to block his front and she swerved around to his back, sliding on one foot as her other came up in a kick to his back. "Pretty good." He smiled as he ducked under her kick. "Ah!" Her leg flew over his head and a hand reached up and grabbed the front of her armor, yanking her upper body down awkwardly before his knee collided with her stomach. Coughing, Shiina's eyes went wide as he dropped her to the ground carefully. "But you're still not fighting as if you were to kill me. Is something...bothering you, Shiina?" Unwilling to admit her recent failure in taking down Masamune, Shiina shut her eyes on her new friend. "No... But...I refuse to fight someone with the intent to kill. I....I will fight to protect those important to me, or I'll die trying!" She pushed herself up, glaring at the concern shown in his blue eyes.

 

Mya sighed, smiling to herself. He acts so naive. "Yea that place sounds alright." She swiped her hand across her inventory menu, changing her clothing status to in-town. Her clothes pixilated into a knee-length skirt, a simple white t-shirt, flat scandals, and a beret, all black colored. "Just make sure to not to make this lengthy. I need to get up early to open the store..."

After wandering around the many floors, eventually reaching the 42th floor, Yoku sighed. "Man...guess it's too late to find an equipment store. They're all closed." Reaching a secluded part of town, his ears perked up, hearing sounds of fighting. "Hmm? What could that be?" He followed the sounds and peeked around the corner, seeing 2 people fight.

 

Scarlet made her way to the Teleport Gate and transferred to floor 10 where she met up with another player. He was from the guild, short and lanky with short brown hair and a crooked smile. Most would say he hardly seemed like a fighter but he has done well keeping order on this floor. But now it seemed like help was needed.

"Ma'am!" He saluted, being overly formal per usual. "The Rouges," a small guild of misfit thugs, "have ceased fighting for the day but promised to return tomorrow!"

With a wave of her hand she silenced him. "Thank you for your diligence and for contacting me, Kiliak. We will handle it, but for now I'm rather tired."

"Of course, the two of you may stay at my place."

"Will there be room for more? Since others may be close behind."

"Remember my dream of opening an Inn? Well this is the place! It hasn't officially opened yet so it's completely empty," he replied with a bright smile, leading them to the place afterwards. And while he did so Scarlet made a guild wide message to update everyone of Floor Ten's status as well as give the location of the Inn for anyone else who may be coming.

Once inside she found herself a room and tucked herself in bed after changing from armour to a casual set of clothes made as sleepwear. It was not long after that when she drifted into a peaceful slumber. Soon it was midnight, marking the start of the new day. Morning will not be far behind.

2024​

January 2nd​

"Don't worry~!" Ittoki said. The two exited the store and headed over to the warp pad. They traveled to the Hill of Memories.[DOUBLEPOST=1359409160][/DOUBLEPOST]Kuroi wandered around Floor 42, killing time. He heard scuffling coming from an alleyway. He followed that alley and reached a secluded area in town. He saw that two people were fighting. One of whom he recognized from the arena and their long ago party. The male, he didn't know.

 

Shiina panted, exhausted from trying to compensate for the wide gap between her skills and her friends'. He looked up, away from Shiina and noticed Kuroi. "Seems like we've gained an audience." Shiina half turned and brushed hair out of her eyes to get a better look into the setting sun to see Kuroi. "Friend of yours?" Shiina pushed herself up, "N-Not especially...but I do know him. He was at the tourn....ah..." His blonde eyebrows rose, "Tournament? You mean the one the Moonlit Swords held today?" Patting Shiina's head, he moved closer to Kuroi, "Hello...I haven't seen you before...so you must be someone like my friend Shiina, here. Sorry if that sounds horribly arrogant of me. My name's Kiiroi Senko...or Yellow Flash." Shiina followed after him, "Minato...we're not done training!" Waving her off, he continued, "I usually let my friends call me Minato."

 

Kuroi stared at Minato's outstretched hand. After a moment of hesitation, he took it, "Kuroi. Just Kuroi."

 

"Well 'Just Kuroi', it's nice to meet someone Shiina is comfortable around." Shiina pushed on his shoulder and half hid behind Minato, "I'm not comfortable...I don't know him very well..." Dropping Kuroi's hand, Minato's trademark smile graced his face, "But you're not stuttering...so I call that comfortable." Turning his gaze back to Kuroi, Minato took a step back, "Are you interested in training? I know...or I hope, Shiina's gained something out of it."

 

"Haha... Very funny." Kuroi said flatly when Minato called him "Just Kuroi". Then Minato asked if he would want to train with them. Maybe it's a chance to make more friends. Kuroi's only legit friend in SAO was probably Ittoki. "Alright."

 

Fang was about to answer her, but was interrupted by a message popping up. He quickly skimmed over it before nodding. "Looks like it's on hold for right now. Scarlet said your welcome to join her at an inn she's staying at." Fang said. He was planning on going, but he wanted to give Hayden the option.

Now being a member of Moonlit Swords, Kaito received Scarlet's message and left. He headed to the inn she'd provided the location. Once there he found himself a room and changed into some casual wear before heading to sleep.

 

Yuki carefully listened to the three talking around the corner. They seem friendly enough...but they don't have what I need. Perhaps they could be of use later... He trudged off back to the main square of town, taking a mental note of their names.

Mya followed him along as they reached the Hill of Memories. "A beautiful place indeed..." She knelt down and ran he hands along the flowers.

 

Ittoki crouched down beside Mya. He picked one of the flowers and tucked it behind Mya's ear. "Hehe! Cute~~!"

 

Mya blushed and backed off from him. "H-hey! Don't do that out of nowhere! You're gonna ask for trouble of you did that to another girl!" She sighed, examining the flower his placed on her. "It is pretty though..."
