Star smiled at Masaru's request. "I am still working on some things so it may now be perfect." She rolled her finger through the menu to pull out the trading menu. She had everything on her after all. She was going to set up shop before this event occurred. She pulled up the trade option to Masaru selecting some armor. It wouldn't be cloth armor, for that would be much too vulnerable for someone like him. She wanted him protected, but his request for decent defence with some decent agility. Lucky for him, she was cursed with agility enhancement. The set she had planned was the Silver Lion set. Light, however strong when opposed to hits. It was the best defensive armor out there. She had seen others with far better. She dreamed of getting to the point where they were at. The dream to give to others. She always gave people in the real world hope through her music, however here it wouldn't be the same. She had to give to the community to escape this realm made by Kayaba. "This should do, no?"

 

Masaru nodded at Star's question, she was giving him a Silver Lion set it would seem, true it had reliiable defebse stats for protection, not cloth armour to say the least but it was better than wearing casual clothes and become very vulerable in the tradeoff, this however would help he greatly.

"This'll do nicely, it's better than just being dressed in normal clothes." He said and looked at her. "How much Col do you want for this?" He asked her, he had a decent amount of it to say the least so money wasn't an issue in this case, especially when you are a Soloer who reaps all the benefits.

 

Star began to think for a moment. She didn't need the col actually. She needed something different. This would be a perfect opportunity to get that ore I have been looking for. She pushed the accept button without Masaru paying anything. "There is something other than col that I want. On floor 51, there was this large volcano in the distance to the north-west. I have heard a special ore boils up from the volcano every month. I did some calculations and the next time is two days from now. I would like you to assist me in retrieving it. The problem is there are two high level monsters there that prevent anyone from getting it. I am not strong enough to go myself." That was what she wanted. The Magma Core would be a wonderful material for her to use on her next sword.

 

Mya shrugged at Masamune's comment."If she really wanted to fight alone, she wouldn't need a guild in the first place. Usually, people form guilds because they want a community to back them up. Unlike PKing guilds " She continued watching the fight, impressed by their skills.

 

Masamune tilted his head back. True that PK guilds didn't need nor want people around much...but that was PoH's idea of peace and harmony...not his. "I'm..." a shriek cut off his words and he looked back to the arena.

Having finished off Hayden, Shiina's guard dropped slightly. Time seemed to move so much slower as Hayden threw her sword at Mina. The wolf was already injured...with Mina's low defense and Hayden's strength...her wolf would die...tornament or no. "Mina!" She screamed, not caring if everyone in the stadium thought she was crazy. Sprinting in front of her canine friend, Shiina spread her arms and took Hayden's sword in the center of her chest. Her HP bar lowered only slightly due to her high defense and heavy armor.

 

"Hayden is out of the match."

As she heard Asura's announcement Scarlet rose to her feet. It seemed that the girl's HP was red now, and since they didn't want anyone dying here that was it for her. Now it was four against one.

Turning to Kaito she raised her sword before slashing it down to her side, a movement which readied herself. "You can still quit, you know. Unless you want to take both of us and the wolves on."

 

Kaito looked at the odds around him. If it was just a two on one match, he would continued on, but he was faced with a guild leader and a beast tamer with both his wolves still fighting. Even if he had chose to continue fighting, if he had this much trouble just fighting Scarlet, then he would have little chance at victory if he fought them both. Things did not look good for him. "Don't worry, I know when I've lost. I surrendered."

 

Smiling with relief Scarlet nodded and the match ended. After that she looked to Shiina and the wolves. "Good job you guys," she said before moving out of the arena so the next match may begin as the announcement of their victory was made.

[ooc; The last team can post one post each about fighting some random players before we move to round two okay? That's Mya and Masamune. ]

 

Mya snapped her head towards the direction of the scream and observed. "That girl is something you know? She's crazy, but she's selfless. I like that." She was impressed how the girl blocked the hit on her wolf with her own body.

 

Masaru put his hand to his chin as he thought abotu what Star told him, most likely this trip was a Blacksmith-Only Event to get the special ore since it was only monthly, it was probably fair to lend her assistance to get this ore since she did give him the entire set without any hesitation, plus he didn't know many other Blacksmiths personally apart from Star herself, plus the fact there are two High-Level monsters were there to spawn, it was understandable as he imagined Star never Soloed so much as to focus on her Blacksmith Skills.

"Sounds reasonable enough, I'm free on that day." He said to her witha nod and opened the Menu up to equip the Silver Lion Armor, dragginign the approiate items to his person, his casul clothing disappearing under the armour (minus helmet and twin swords) and he moved around a bit, it felt pretty light enough and very durable, it'll last a while to say the least, he moved one more thing to his person from his Item Storage, a blue cape merely for decoration to be attache dto the back, he didn't know why but it felt like a good choice as he saw the end of the round for Shiina's team against their opponents.

"A desperation attempt by Hayden and would of most likely worked if someone didn't intercept it, but if that hit the ground, the sword would become pixels." He thought to himself, if something went beyond the Player's hands after touching it, the system would regioster this as a useless item, now it was Mya and Masamune's turn it seemed.

 

OOC: Just a heads up, I'm going on a trip and won't be back till Sunday D:

BIC: She stepped back a bit and looked up at Masamune."Seems like it shall be our turn very soon. Shall we make our way down?"

 

Patting a hand on Mya's head, Masamune headed down into the arena with her. A series of boos proceeded once he stepped out into the open aired arena. "So nice to be loved..." Waving to the crowd, he set his still sheathed sword on his shoulder, "Helloooooo SAO!" Coaxing them into another round of booing and even throwing balls of paper towards him...which shattered into pixels once they hit the ground. Lively...

 

Ittoki had left his seat for a while. He had excused himself to get some snacks for the two of them. Kuroi frowned, getting a bit worried. Kuroi got up and exited the stands. Walking through the halls to the main atrium, Kuroi looked for his partner. He noticed that some of the female Players kept glancing at him. He tried to smile, like Ittoki had told him to, but it didn't seem to work as the other Players looked scared and ran away.

"Nee... Kuroi-kun..." Ittoki's voice came from behind him. "Stop scaring others away." He had a blue popsicle in this mouth. Ittoki held out the unopened popsicle he held in his other hand. "Here."

They had sat down on a bench in one of the hallways. Ittoki was coaching Kuroi how to smile, in a kinder way (if that makes sense). "That's not gonna work." Ittoki said. "You can't glare at people like that. Smile, but don't frown at the same time. Makes you look mean."

"I can't help it! Seems like my face is permanently like this." Kuroi grumbled, chewing on the popsicle stick. It was Sea Salt icecream. Sweet, but salty at the same time.

"Well..." Ittoki reached out with his index finger and poked Kuroi between his eyebrows. "Ya gotta relax, man. Gonna get wrinkles here before you're 30."

"Tsk." Kuroi batted his hand away. He got up and dropped the popsicle stick in the garbage can. "You wanna keep watching the fights? It's getting a bit boring for me. Think I'm gonna head out to town and look around."

"Un! Then, I'll go with you!" Ittoki bounded up to Kuroi, like a puppy. If Ittoki had a tail, it would be wagging excitedly.

 

OOC: Yays for almost no progression after my 2 vacations :P

BIC: Mya frowned, ignoring the hail of trash thrown at Masamune. "You think someone would get tired of being hated both in life and in a virtual world..." She sighed and continued walking alongside him towards their place.

 

Ignoring Mya's obviously pointed question, Masamune set his eyes on their opponents. Bunch of not-so-seasoned warriors. "I'll bet you twenty Col that I can finish one of them off without them even making a dent in my health. And a little bonus...if you can finish yours before mine...I'll tell you the truth about whatever you wanna know." Why he ever dared to make bets that bordered on his secrets he'd never know.
"Ready? Set... Go."
His left foot moved back slightly, the sheath yanked off his sword and the blade sparked against the ground as he sprinted towards their opponent. Picking the one directly across from himself, he inhaled a small breath, holding it. The fella was big...but weighted armor came at a speed penalty. Scoring his blade across his foe's shins, Masamune lept up and over his head, slicing his blade up and across the back of his helmet. Landing behind him, he released his breath and the damage set in, lowering his opponent's health by half. "Tch..." Twirling on his heel, flipping his sword and starting to hum Final Fantasy XIII's theme song he drove the tip of his blade straight into his opponent's chest. Applying the smallest amount of pressure, the blade sunk through inch by inch. Counting in his head, Masamune knew when this guy would hit red... Timer up and his hand twitched, unwilling to release the pressure. "I...I'm done! I'm out." "Are you....that's too bad..." Glancing at the small timer for his orange status, he shut his eyes, relaxing every muscle in his virtual body. Drawing the blade out of his burly foe, Masamune sniffed and rubbed a hand across his face. "You done yet, Mya?"

 

Ittoki stretched his arms over his head, "Nn~~ya! It was getting a bit stuffy in the arena..." He hopped and turned to Kuroi, "So, anything ya wanna do?"

Kuroi shrugged, "What else is there on this floor?"

Ittoki crossed his arms, his lip slightly pouting. He thought for a while, shifting his weight from one leg to another. "Hmm..." Then his eyes lit up, "One of my IRL friends owns a cafe around here. Lemme message him and see if he's open." Ittoki swiped his thumb and index finger downwards, opening up the menu. He scrolled down to friends and looked for the Player's name. He quickly typed in a message and pressed sent. In less than 3 seconds, a reply came back. "Great! He's open already. Let's go!"

Cafe Piyo

"Nacchan~~!" Ittoki shouted as he opened the door. The cafe was small and cozy, but there were many tables filled up. Many of the customers were eating cakes and sweets, along with drinking coffee and colorful juices. There were several booths along the wall and a few couches with coffee tables in the middle of the room.

"Ah! Ittoki-kun! Welcome!" A boy with messy blonde hair and glasses walked up to them, holding a tray full of cute looking drinks. "Have a seat where ever you like!"

"Thanks!" Ittoki plopped down in one of the booths. Kuroi slid in the other side. "So, that was Natsuki. He's a friend of mine IRL. He's a terrible cook IRL, but his food is surprisingly AMAZING her in SAO."

"Hm... Really now?" Kuroi said, half-listening as he flipped through the menu.

"Yep! He also designed the place himself. Nice design, eh?"

"Here you go!" Natsuki set down two glasses of water. "So, have you decided what you'd like? I recommend the cheesecake."

"The usual for me!" Ittoki raised his hand like a little kid, his eyes sparkling. "And a 'Rainbow Dream!'"

"I'll take a french vanilla latte... And the cheesecake." Kuroi said, closing the menu.

"Alright then. Coming right up!' Natsuki collected the menus and walked off to the kitchen.
