Sweet Sacrifice

Rikuto slowly walked out to the gate then he looked at the woods that lay infront of him"time to get this mission done its probally some simple theif that stole it no worrys" he thought to himself then he walked into the forest.

 

Ritsuka continued to stare at the clear blue sky, she drifted back to memories she had of when she was a little kid. She chuckled softly when she remembered some of the times when she tripped over and fell flat on her face during training.

After hauling herself reluctantly out of her deep day-dream Sky gazed around the surrounding area. There were the usual yellowish houses, trees of emerald green against the cobalt sky. Not many ninja were around, only a hand full of chunin were any in sight. Only a hand full of chunin that was besides one other.

A little way down the street she could spy a raven-haired girl who didn't seem more a couple of years younger then Sky herself. She may not of known the girl, but the exact shade of and the strange kink of her hair was unmistakeable to anyone who'd had the level of training she'd received: Uchia.

Of course she didn't actually care for the knowledge of the girls clan, it wasn't something she'd ever really cared for. But at least she knew to beware of Sharingan being around now. Nevertheless Sky cautiously made her way towards the black-haired girl.

"Hey, you all right there?"

Ritsuka stared at Sky through the corner of her eye. She shrugged her shoulders and sat upright. "Yeah I'm fine," she said in a bored tone. "I'm just bored that's all."

 

The mysterious figure sat patiently on a damp log nearby a cave, all of his friends had thought he had been killed and so he set out to search for them one by one so they could get together once more to bring the Akatsuki down.

 

"I know what you mean, it's just not the same anymore... Hardly any missions going about these days. And the one's that are are all D-Rank and so easy even a first year academy student wouldn't have too much trouble." Sky sighed. "Feels rather like all the training went to waste I suppose."

 

"I heard of a rumor somewhere, about why we have hardly see the Akatsuki around lately," Ritsuka whispered. "Do you want me to tell you?"

 

Kazuki wandered down the street still smoking, he noticed people he remembered from the academy. Ritsuka and Sky, he was curious to know what they where up to. He walked over to them casually not hearing anything because of Ritsuka's whisper, "Something going on?", he asked stepping up behind the two.

 

Ritsuka eyed Kazuki suspiciously, then she recognized who he was and her eyes widened. "Kazuki...? I haven't seen you since... that incedent with our group a while ago," she said in a surprised voice, "Anyway, as I was saying, I know of a rumor about why we haven't seen the any of the Akatsuki in the village lately."

 

"Oh?", Kazuki said showing an expression of questioning as he puffed on his cigerrette. He loosened his shoulders alittle as he prepared to listen, Akatsuki... is it that they are preparing to attack? Or are they after something more? Or... Kazuki continued asking himself questions in his head while he waited for Ritsuka to speak.

 

"Yeah, tell us. Please." Sky nodded, eager to find out.

 

Ritsuka grinned and continued to speak. "Apparently they are still looking for 'him', if you know who I mean." she whispered to them.

 

"Really? You seriously think they haven't given up yet?" Sky asked disbelievingly. "It's been so long I thought everyone had given up."

 

Ritsuka grinned but her face turned serious again. "Well all the evidence adds up to this- it's the only possibility on why the Akatsuki are still searching. They've already gotten the other 8... they did that 9 years ago but he is evading them. Which, is a good thing, because it's buying us more time."

 

OCC: heya sorry about not posting i been realy busy so may i have a recap?
