It was a great movie, but I liked Edward Scissor hands just a tad bit more.

 

i loved the film,tim burton did a great job with it.i have not seen the play yet.

 

Saw the play and the movie today liked both for the same reasons everyone else has said.

 

Tim Burton + Johnny Depp + Helena Bonham Carter + Alan Rickman + Dark historical setting = Instant win XD

It was so dark and powerful, it really was breathtaking. I was shocked by the part where

Todd killed Mrs Lovett, I really thought for a moment there'd be a happier ending for them, but I suppose the tragic events made it all even better.

Some more characterisation from Anthony and Johanna would've been better, but other than that, the acting and story and just everything was amazing.

I just bought the soundtrack, and I'd have to say that "Joanna" Is my favorite. x3

 

I like the reprise of "Johanna" more than the first version. When it's just Anthony singing, it sounds stalker-ish. xD

I loved the movie. The whole musical theme was a nice change of pace for Johnny Depp. I liked the fact that he was workingf with Tim Burton on this. 10/10.

 

I've heard that it's a good movie, i have a friend that's crazy about it too O_O

Did you know that Johnny Depp had no idea if he could sing when Tim first asked him to sing in his movie. Depp's response? "I'll try.*shrugs*"

 

I went to the movies to see this and I really liked it except for one small thing.
The blood. The color was a really bright red. That was the only thing I didn't like.

Has anyone here seen the award winning musical that was released, more or less recently, by Tim Burton? I recieved the movie for Christmas and I've been enjoying it since then.

Depp and Carter are really great in this movie--neither had had much experience with singing when they began filming.

Who has seen it? What did you think? Favorite song? Character?
