Yeah this movie really was very bloody. I think the only parts I winced at were because there really was a ton of blood flying at certain parts that I won't spoil. Though I will say the blood to me looked kind of fake and extra watery which I was pretty sure was intentional like those old movie flicks back when. It was really great though.

I never got a chance to see it in theatres but my mother got me the dvd and I just love it. The character designs and ...oh my god Johnny Depp's singing. There's so much emotion and feeling into it.

However...when I asked one of my friends about it they were like: 'I loved it! All the emo!'

Yeah my brain broke after that.

Sweeney Todd is already OUT?? O.o
Why was I not aware of this?! D=
omgf.. MUST BUY... *grabs money & keys*

It was a sexy sexy movie. Mr.Todd has an awesome voice. ^_^ Enjoyed every single bit. The theater (stage) near my school was doing Sweeney Todd... I'm extremely disappointed on the fact that i couldn't go... T_T tickets were expensive and no time in my hands. *sigh* next time.

Ah yes, my dear friend Sweeney. Loved the movie, the constant changes of genre were incredible and the singing... There are only two musicals in the world that I enjoy. Moulin Rouge and Sweeney Todd. That's because they're both ****ING GREAT! I sing Sweeney's songs over and over, trying to capture the angry emo within :)

"There's a hole in the world like a great black pit / And the people living in it are filled with **** / And the vermin of the world inhabit it / But not for long..." The Epipheny is one of my favourite songs. It's when Sweeney changes gear from "Zombie Emo' to 'Emo that Runs on Rage and Awsome'.

I loved this movie so much! I liked the music in it and the dark humor in it. My Dad however thought it should have more killing and less singing, I think that all that blood was a bit of a overkill though.

I haven't seen it yet, but my older sister has, and when she isn't talking about what an amazing movie it is, she's blasting the soundtrack, which i like a lot.

So i would really like to see it, it seems really good.

I like walking down in the hallways, singing songs from the movie. I swear though, Depp has a kick ass voice, it touched me so! <3333

I just saw Sweeney Todd last night for the first time and I'm beating myself up for not seeing it sooner.
That ending was definitely the best.
I can only imagine what the Broadway performance was like.

Supposedly it was the bloodiest show on Broadway or something..... I want to see the Broadway version so badly.

I still beat myself because the Broadway show was so close... SO CLOSE to me... and yet I didn't go. *sigh* the saddness.

I enjoyed the actor Johnny Depp playing the role as Sweeny Todd since he did a good job especially when he was singing to his blades, but there were parts of the movie that made me cringe with all the blood gushing out, the bodies being dumped into a chute that led to the basment and at the end where he was dancing with the woman who loved him and then threw her in a furnace with an iron cast grid or lock and watched her burn to death. That part really bothered me and I can understand if it bothered other younger ones as well. Overall the movie was well done, but it was not one of my favorites.

This has to be one of my all time favorite movies ever. When I first heard about it, I became very intrigued by the storyline and the characters. Finally, the night I saw it, I thought it was brilliant. It was so great, in fact, that it even encouraged me to see the actual musical on stage. Both performances were amazing. I have always been a fan of Johnny Depp, but this really showed his talent. I have already bought the DVD and CD. Also, I introduced the movie to some of my friends and they liked it as well. Now, we are all pretty much Sweeney fanatics. Lol.
    The point is, great movie.
