Yeah so far I have been impressed with the teaming up of Johnny Deep and Tim Burton. They really know how to deliver a certain flavor and style to the movies they do, also this looks *visually* like Sleepy Hollow and if that movie is any indication of this movie then I'll be sure to see this in the threaters as well.

I so want to see this movie but I'll probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD to see it.

Whenever Tim Burton and Johnny Depp get together for a movie, good things happen. It's like ...I can't think of a good comparison.

Man the story scares me. The fact that it's true is even scarier. Tim Burton is a genius and Jonny Depp is soooo... versetile. He did Captain Jack AND Willy Wonka, how much more versetile can you get.

I went to see that movie.

It's a very gory and dim-ish gloom kinda movie.

I didn't have much of an apatite after it. I had a bunch of popcorn and I had an icee! :3

Okay, now that you've all seen this broadway-gone-movie, how'd you like it? :33

    I thought it was AMAZING.

3: But people who've seen the actual broadway say that it's like reading the book before the movie.

It was pretty good, but f***ing disgusting! You see like, twenty people getting their throats slit. I heard that the play was supposed to be dark and funny, but the movie barely had any humor in it. I would really love to see the broadway play, the movie would probably make a lot more sense and be more enjoyable.

It was practically like a Harry Potter reunion, they had the actors who played Bellatrix, Snape (Alan Rickman ftw) and Peter Pettigrew.

    So dissapointing :'(
Waste of 8.50 and 2 hours of my life.
I love Tim Burton and all the actors in this movie but it just was terrible. I haven't seen a bad movie in quite some time and I'd forgotten what it feels like to leave the theater feeling kinda frustrated.

It's not so much that it was really bad I guess, it just wasn't good. And with this cast+director, I really don't see how it COULDN'T have been amazing.

Isn't that the same thread as this one?..... I don't know, I'm confused.

I finally saw it last night. It's a masterpiece.
And I have now put Mrs. Lovett on my list for Halloween costumes.
