    Anyone still think that it's a choice? lol

    Anyway, I think this is really interesting. It shows something that decides someones sexual orientation for them.

    Any comments?

    I've run dry xD;

    Wow, very interesting article. I do hope they do some more scans than just 100, but that is very intriguing and makes sense why they find hormone reactions different. It definitely would end the debate though. However, I think they should also at sometime scan people who are bi-sexual and people that want sex changes just to see what results would be.

    this is.....interesting....to say the least

    but tecnically, it says that gay mean have the brain of a heterosexual woman(placed in simple words)

    and vice-versa

    XDD.

    I personally always thought it was genetic. I just had a feeling the Y of X chromosome could play a huge effect in sexual orientation. Interesting study though.

    Why? Does it bother you that a homosexual women's brain is similar to yours? Don't worry about it, it's a bit obvious you're lacking most of yours anyway.

    Yes, it is interesting. However, I don't really think there was ever a question of homosexuality being a "choice". You can't choose your sexual orientation. You're either attracted to men or to women, and that's about it.

    Well he was referring to an old stereotype that's pretty outdated now that homosexuals chose to be homosexual. It's been kind of disproved for a while now, but this study definitely shows that no matter how you try, you're destined to be a certain sexual orientation.

    Yeah there are quite a few people out there who still feel that homosexuality and heterosexuality can be changed by simple choices which has been by the scientific community at least, dismissed, but to those who are closed minded, they refuse to see the proof before their eyes. This is intriguing in that it shows some evidence that obviously it is an internal thing to do with the brain etc and hopefully we will learn more in the future. I just do think more studies are required though because there are some unanswered questions in it all.

    despite all the genetic information, i still don't think it's written in cement even if the genes make it more predisposing for them to be that way
