Humans have created many languages throughout history, humans like to feel powerful so they invent words to make them higher than others.

There is some truth in that. We wouldn't have certain words if not for the enslaving and domination (all in the name of another culture's self-proclaimed superiority) of certain cultures. But at most many of today's swear words were considered euphemisms for other words, and those words were euphemisms for others, and so on (s#$&, and piss for example).

The "F" word originally came from the German word "Flicken" which means "to strike".

I think its kinda weird what we consider a swear word
Like cause isnt calling someone a jerk insulting them
But thats not considered a swear word at all
Or what if you called someone a piece of poo, thats not swearing
    People are weird

I really never get what people have against crass language. I don't consider the words to be 'swear' words or 'curse words' as these are old time philosophies where people would use the terms as a means to harm someone or 'curse' them or 'damn them'. Crass language is the term I prefer to use for slang and words that some feel are inappropriate for younger people. I cuss irl or on forums if I want to emphasize a point and the word fits appropriately. A lot of people also think those who say crass words don't utilize their native languages effectively and have a lack of diction. I certainly would not 'curse' someone and I have learned to instead of saying someone 'is' something to say they are 'acting like a' at the moment so it's not as insulting. Language is only as powerful as the writer and the reader or the speaker and the person who listens. Cin's post was excellent and to the point and I agree with it. Words in the end are just that; words to convey thoughts and feelings. Crass words and slang are used for that purpose and do count to me as expressions that anyone can understand and sometimes a 'bigger' word or 'nicer' word just isn't cutting it. The point where these words become agitating is when someone does totally rely on them and doesn't branch out at all.

Yeah, if someone grew up in a household where everyone was using strong language they would do it too because that's all they ever heard.
