does the swap magic thingy work on PS2 Slim?

You need a flip top lid to put on your PS2 for it to work.

 

That's one possible 'option'.

There's still the slide card if you have the V1-11, and magic key/slim tools for V12-16.

 

You can only use the slidecard on teh big one.
But I reccomend the flip top, it's pretty easy to install.

 

Yeah, that's why I said V1-11.

The only thing about the flip-top is that you void your warranty if you go that method, whereas Magic Keys/Slim Tools keep it intact. However if this isn't an issue, then Flip-Top for slims and fat models are pretty good.

ALTHOUGH, if warranty isn't an issue, you can fully make the tools for your PS2 slim BY yourself without paying for anything other than Swap Magic. I've done this several times for my friends already.

 

Dont tell people its the only way. Magic keys is what you should use if you dont want to void warrenty. not dissing you but you sound sorta foolish saying its the only way man.

 

When did he say that? In our opinion, its the best way. If he screws up his Ps2 and has to buy a new one, thats not on him

Slide Cards -- Fat PS2s
Slim Tools/Magic Keys -- Slim PS2s

Slide Cards can't be used for Slims, and Slim Tools/Magic Keys can't be used on fat versions.
