Supernatural: Acolytes of Azazel.

Luce jerked as suddenly things moved in fast forward. She saw Adam and Scott and the Wendigo. She tucked her gun away and took hold of the Wendigo, careful not to touch Scott. Her death touch sending waves of the most pain she could muster through it. "Why do you guys have to follow me everywhere!? Why can't you just let me die the way I want to!?" She hated for her tone but frustration made her nails bite into the Wendigo's flesh.

 

The Wendigo let loose a cryptic sounding roar as Luce's nails dug in. It felt its heart slowing down and struggled to get free from Scott's grip. This was the second time this boy had strength he wasn't supposed to. First he was strong enough to pull it from a tree and now he could keep it still? And the other one, his touch had burned it! Now this girl...her touch made the Wendigo's body fail? Who were these kids? Weak and confused, it was still strong enough to break free from their grips. At this point, it was too disoriented to attack them and could only push Luce and Scott back. Mustering all it's strength to its lightning-quick legs, it started to turn and run. Unfortunately, it ran by Adam, who was getting up from where he had fell earlier.


Adam saw the Wendigo coming at him. He wasn't strong to hold it, like Scott, but he had another advantage. When the Wendigo blurred past him, he raised both his hands, small flames gathering around them and grabbed at its legs. "You burn easy, don't you?!" He yelled as the sound of sizzling flesh filled the cave. The Wendigo let out another roar and fell to the floor, right in front of Tatum, obviously confused. "Finish it!"

 

Tatum tried to look at what was happening in front of her, but all she was able to do was listen. She knew that they were winning, just from the cries the Wendigo shout out. Smelling the awful stench of burning skin, she glanced down and noticed the monster at her feet. Hearing Adam shout, she clutched both hands onto the shotgun she had been carrying and pointed it directly at the Wendigo's head. Pulling the trigger, she shot, a loud blood-curdling cry erupting from its mouth before it went completely limp. Blood had splattered on her shoes and she backed away from the monster. Tatum could feel her heart almost beating out of her chest, and she tightened her grip on the shotgun. "Everyone alright?" she called out, her voice cracking slightly.

 

Luce picked herself up and glared at Scott, "No, I...I don't know how to handle when you're nice to me, Scott. I don't know what's wrong with me." She shivered, "I can't stand it here. I'm sure there are people somewhere here, so lets just find them and get out of here." Pocketing her gun and looking away from Scott, she waited for them to move further into the cave. Luce shifted her hair and pulled it back into a ponytail, "I hate cannibals. Let's just go already, no more questions."

 

Adam gagged as he held back his vomit as he stood up. The sound of the shotgun blast had made his heart jump, despite all the times he's fired one. The blast of the Wendigo's head had splattered his face with blood stickier than his own. "This. Is. Freaking. Wrong." He said sternly as he wiped his face, only smearing the blood. "Hey! Sort your couple's spat out later, honeymooners," he told Scott and Luce, "We gotta find this thing's," he kicked the headless corpse next to him, its searing smell still in his nostrils,"victims. They should still be alive." He turned around, picked up his shotgun, and continued walking. "Good shot," he said to Tatum, not looking back at her. He regretted not getting the kill himself.

 

A small smile crossed Tatum's face at Adam's word, but it soon disappeared when she realized they still had work to do. Hearing the footsteps of the others, she stepped quickly over the dead corpse and headed further into the cave. Although Luce had mentioned how she wanted to get out of here, they couldn't. Who knows what the Wendigo did to its victims - there might even be some alive still. And if there were, they couldn't leave them like that. "How far do you think they could possibly be?" she asked, directing the question to no one in particular. She hoped that they would find them soon so that they could get out of the cave quicker. The rancid smell was getting worse as time progressed and if she didn't get out of there soon, she'd be sick.

 

"Hellooo?" Adam yelled into the air as he put his gun away while searching for the Wendigo's victims. "Is anybody her-" He stopped when he noticed a different smell: fresh air. After resuming his search, they came to the end of the cave. It looked just like a bedroom....well, a monster's bedroom. It was a large circular cavish room. There were different types of camping supplies all over the place, most of it torn and useless. Adam guessed the Wendigo must have picked them up along with its victims. Next to the entrance was a boulder. Possibly to close the pathway when it's sleeping? The young Acolyte wondered. He could feel a breeze and wondered if the cave led outside.
Drip.
He instantly looked up and human-sized bundles wrapped and hanging from the ceiling. One was dripping a dark red liquid. "Guys!" He called out to the others.

 

Luce wanted to snarl at Adam, couple's what?! She saved her anger for Scott, though she'd rather not speak to him about it again. Looking up when Adam spoke she covered her mouth, "What the hell? We have'ta get them down." She looked to Adam, "Offer up orders, cap'n."

 

"Hey now," Adam quickly said as he placed his hands on Scott's back to stop him from falling back with the victim. "This one looks pretty bad, there's blood everywhere. You three get the others down," He told Luce, Scott, and Tatum, referring to the other three victims. He took out his demon-killing knife and started to cut the wrapping around the bleeding victim. Ripping sounds echoed around the room, being followed by labor breathing.
"Oh, sweet Jesus, mother Mary, and Joseph," Adam muttered, a reference to his long-forsaken Catholic upbringing in his adoptive home. The victim appeared to be the forest ranger as she was had the same uniform as Griffin, but it was torn and splattered in her blood. He could make out several cuts. Some looked like deep scratches, but the majority were bites. She must have put up a fight when the Wendigo took her, he thought. She was unconscious, but alive. "Alright, guess first thing is stopping the bleeding," Adam muttered, noticing a deep and recent cut between her shoulder and neck. He cut a piece of her ranger shorts with his knife (why damage his clothes, after all? Hunters didn't get paid to buy clothes) and tied it around her shoulder tight, putting pressure on her wound. "She needs to get to a doctor quick," he told the others.

 

Luce suppressed the urge to do a facepalm at Scott's new name. Ignoring him her gray eyes fastened on the forrest ranger woman for a second, "Oh brother, we're all screwed I can just tell. I need a drink." She reached up, standing on her tip toes and tugged down another one of the bundles with her fingertips. Catching it, she realized it was much heavier than she predicted. The bundling disturbed her greatly. Jeez, well whoever this is, needs to go on a diet. I swear, do people get heavier each year or what?" It took nearly all her strength to keep herself upright with the heavy person.

 

Tatum couldn't help but become depressed while lowering down the bodies. She got the one of a petite woman, probably in her late thirties. It was hard to tell from the multiple scratches and blood splattered across her face. Laying the body onto the ground, the gathered a sharp rock from off the dirt ground and slit open the tightly bound wrapping. There was no gasp of air, and a frown crossed the young girl's face. "We're in the middle of nowhere," she muttered, glancing around at the others. They'd have to get out of the forest first before they could get to a doctor - and it's not like they could call one either, since there was absolutely no service out here. She wasn't sure what they were supposed to do. Would it be a good idea for them to split up? Two of them head into town and search for the hospital, the other two head back to camp? She kept her mouth closed, though. Either Scott or Adam would think of something better to do. Maybe even Luce.

 

OOC: XD I forgot you haven't watched the show, Arch (new episode tonight everybody!). Demons =/= monsters/creatures/spirits. Demons are like the big bad, but they're in a class all to themselves. Wendigo is not a Demon, it's just a monster. Demons come from Hell. Actual Hell, that's not just an expression. You will never see an actual Demon because they possess people. Demon blood comes from a possessed host. I'll just skip that little part xD

"Wow, I'm stupid," Adam thought. Not once did he ever think of using his powers like that. Untying the cloth, he placed his fingers over the bite, tracing them. He couldn't make a sufficient flame, but it was still hot enough to close the wound. The girl moaned in pain as he did it. "Good idea, Scott the Great," Adam said, slightly smiling. After a few seconds, he retied the cloth, a little less tight this time. "I'll call Griffin and have him have a doctor ready. Try to wake them up in the meantime," He said, pointing to the other victims. They didn't look so banged up they couldn't walk themselves.

 

Luce grimaced at them and set the man on the ground. Tearing away the wrappings she touched his face and decided he was going to be fine, a little shock and some trauma to his head but fine. She pushed Scott away from his poor victum and lightly stroked his forehead. "Don't be so rough Scott." Gently she stroked his hair and leaned down to whisper in his ear, "Hey, you in there. Why don'tcha open your eyes." she continued her little chat with the unconscious man, promising warmth and sweet things she didn't let Scott hear her say, praying he'd open his eyes soon.

            He had been gone long enough, and though she had stayed behind, it was only to give her enough time to gather her thoughts and figure out some kind of solid plan. It was only to analyze the situation thoroughly, take notes, contemplate and execute the most amazing plan ever—it was also partly because though she wasn’t necessarily afraid of the Wendigo, she was absolutely terrified of getting in the way and messing anything up. There really no plan of action she was contemplating, she was just stalling. If it had just been the others in the forest, she probably would have stayed there in camp waiting and assuring herself that they were all together and would be fine. But considering her beloved twin was alone in that forest, she decided maybe sitting around really wasn’t doing any good.
            
            “Alright, Klaire. You can do this. You can do something.” She murmured, looking around into the dense trees and shuddering with another deep breath, reaching into her pocket and unlocking the doors to the weapon-loaded Jeep, swinging the driver’s seat open. She was a twin with a mission. Though she hadn’t sensed that any danger had come to Klad, and that no one out of the larger group had died or anything, she wasn’t going to sit around waiting for that vision.
            
            Key in ignition, foot on the gas pedal and Klaire was off, heading straight for the woods along a barely—but driven path and weaving through the darkness with certainty and speed. She was Klaire f’in Cross, damn it. Somewhere along the road, she had forgotten that. Immersed in her self-encouraging (and pitying), she barely noticed the figure just feet ahead of her, gazing down at a broken cell phone. Slamming down on the brakes, Klaire simply squeaked in surprise, before narrowing her eyes and rolling down her window, noticing the trail of blood and thinking they could follow it.
            
            “Hey, Klad. Get in…Now.” Barely giving the poor boy any time to get buckled in, she sped off again, headlights blaring, eyes locked on the trail and hands focused on navigating through the trees and towards the cave, the headlights illuminating the overs until she cut them off, forehead resting on the wheel. “Oh jeeze.”
