"I wouldn't trust a girl driving me around either," Adam grinned at Scott as he passed him. Scott may be one of Adam's favorites out of the Acolytes. They were similar enough. There were times, though, when Adam felt competitiveness with Scott during a hunt, but that just made them hunt more efficiently. "But guess you're riding with me then. But that oversized butter-knife of yours is going in the back," he told Scott. "I'll go get the tent. Luce, you take Tatum. The twins and Rouge can take the van or jeep," he ordered around. Adam had a habit of ordering the other Acolytes around, especially when no one else was doing it. He didn't like being the leader; most of the time, his commands weren't thought out. He just made people move.

"Ah, you're just jealous because mine's bigger." Scott laughed quietly as he folded his arms, still holding on tight to his sword. It didn't bother him that Adam was acting like he was the boss. Adam never tried stopping him from doing something moderately stupid and Scott was far too lazy to attempt taking a leadership role so it all worked out for him. "I'll be outside the bar now if anyone needs me. I'd prefer it if we got moving sometime today." He said aloud as he let his arms hang by his sides before heading outside. While it may have looked like he was impatient, it was only true that they had been standing around for too long.

Luce narrowed her gray eyes at him and walked upstairs to find Tatum, "No time to waste." Luce moved in a swirl of silver hair and black coats. She pounded on Tatums door, hoping she would hear so she wouldn't have to break down the door. Lenny was getting annoyed that she did that.

"Alright then," Adam muttered loudly. "Meet out back by the cars when you're ready. Hurry it up," he said to everyone. The first thing Adam did was run upstairs to his room. He quickly shut the door behind him, clicking the lock. After a few seconds, making sure no one was walking up the hallway, he strolled towards his laptop. He opened it up and reopened his personal journal. Quickly skimming the last entry, he reached into his pockets and pulled out a keychain. Hanging from the silver ring was a flash drive. He inserted into the laptop and, after his laptop detected it, saved his journal onto it. Gotta make sure this is backed up, he thought to himself as he reached under his mattress. He pulled out another, slightly smaller, flash drive and replaced the previous one with it. Saving the journal once again, he took it out and reinserted it under his mattress. He then deleted his journal from his laptop. He then stood up and reached under his pillow and pulled out his favorite weapon: the Demon killing knife Lenny gave him. While not effective on other creatures, it still worked as a knife. It was his favorite because he could heat it up with his hands for extra pain; he couldn't do that with bullets. He kept the knife in its custom-made carrier and clipped it to his rear belt loop.

The next thing he did was search for his pistols. He usually kept one in his room, but he had a habit of misplacing it. I swear, if I ever kids, I'd be the worst parent ever, he mused to himself as he looked under his bed. Not seeing it there, he stood up and looked around. "Oh!" He remembered where he had placed it last and opened the top drawer to his bedside table and there it was: a silver shining pistol with a black grip, casually laying next to a notebook and cell phone charger as if it was a simply accessory. He checked to see if it was loaded and placed it in his waistband, closing the drawer with his knee. Adam then made sure his keys (and attached flash drive) were in his pocket, picked his rarely-used cell phone off the table and placed it in a different pocket. The last thing he grabbed was ipod off the desk in front of his bed. He glanced at his laptop for a brief moment; sometimes he would take it with him on missions. You never know when research would be needed, but he figured Lenny wouldn't send them to hunt something too dangerous with no information. Deciding against taking it, he quickly unlocked his room and rushed out, leaving his door wide open.

He ran down the stairs, skipping the last five completely, and ran across the bar room, not paying attention to the others. He reached the closet and opened it quickly, now in a hurry to leave. The "closet" was twice the size as his bedroom. Lining the shelves were miscellaneous items; things that could be used around the Roadhouse or even on missions, but weren't necessary. He quickly scanned up the shelves and found a box with a picture of a tent on it. The box was open, even though Adam couldn't remember the last time they used it. It took both hands to get the box down from the shelf, but it wasn't heavy to carry, just large. He left the closet and kicked it closed. "We're leaving in 5!" He yelled aloud to whoever was still in the Roadhouse. He carried the box out the front door and stopped instantly. The sun was shining brightly and the grass was so green, it could have been glowing. A gentle breeze was blowing and he could feel his hair slightly swaying. What a beautiful day to go hunt a monster, he thought to himself as he started walking again. He walked around the Roadhouse to the garage. Customers usually parked on the side of the street or in the grass when they came since the Roadhouse had no parking lot, but there was a small garage in the back for the Acolytes to use.

The garage door was open and Adam walked in casually. His Mustang was on the right side, closest to the wall. Next to it was Luce's GT Heritage. In the middle was the Acolytes' jeep with the van next to it. The van was for missions only since its interior had countless months dedicating it to hunting. The jeep was also for missions, but the Acolytes were free to use it whenever. On the other side of end of the line of vehicles was Lenny's personal car. It had several tarps over it, enough to completely conceal its shape. One of Lenny's most important rules was: No one touches his ride. Adam once peeked, but all he saw was the color black. He nodded his head to Scott and tossed the tent's box between the jeep and van; no room in his Mustang to carry it. "We're leaving in a minute," he told Scott as he pulled his keys out of his pocket. He opened the trunk and found it just as he left it: a spare tire in the middle of several cases. Inside each case were things such as salt, iron, markers (for making Devil's Traps), books with lore on different creatures, brass, anything he could possibly use while hunting. Neatly tucked behind the wheel, however, was a sawn-off shotgun, which Adam quickly grabbed. "Toss your 'pocket knife' in the backseat," he told Scott as he shut the trunk and moved to the driver's side. He unlocked it and bent into the seat, reaching over to push the passenger's seat up so Scott could place his sword in the back. "Lets go, go, go, Hercules," he said, rushing the other Acolyte. Adam was now in a hurry to hunt. He opened the glove box and found his other pistol in there, where it always was if it wasn't on his person.

OOC: Sorry for the real long post guys. I was planning on stretching this over a few more posts and then kicking the RP into rhythm tomorrow morning/afternoon, but I won't be able to get back online until tomorrow evening so I just condensed everything. Also, this wasn't touched upon in the show, but the Demon-killing knife can only kill Demons (lower class). To anyone/anything else, it's just a normal blade. I might throw in an extra knife, depending on how things go. Anyways, again, sorry for the long post, don't think you have to make something this long lol

Rouge, I guess.” Klaire answered verbally, something it wasn’t odd for her to do. It really didn’t bother her that Adam had taken control of the situation, especially considering the fact that it was a real time saver. She didn’t really have much of a dislike of anyone in the group, when she thought about it. After a moment, she grabbed the keys for the Jeep, not seeing Klad nor Rouge do it.

She stretched and gripped tighter at the bag she held, rubbing her eyes softly with the back of her free hand before reaching down and grabbing Klad’s, pulling him from the foot of the stairs and out of the door. She knew that everything was packed and ready to go in her own bag. She always had a bag packed with necessities ready just in case and unexpected mission came up, so she was fairly prepared. The only thing she had to double check was that her notes and journal was there, and that she had her music and a pen or pencil present.

Routinely, she sighed and made her way around to the garage, her eyes scanning for the others before she opened the trunk of the Jeep and put her bag inside. Her hand left her twin’s as she yawned softly and peeked around towards the sound of a thump. After pressing her lips together in thought, she went in-between the vehicles to help herself to the tent box sitting there, lifting it with two arms and a groan over to the back of the trunk and setting it inside before grabbing her own bag and tossing it into the back seat.

Not feeling like driving, she tossed the keys into the front seat and made herself comfortable in the back, humming nothing particular to herself as she buckled herself in, turning slightly onto her side and not leaving much room from Klad or Rouge, skimming through the songs on her iPod as she waited, oblivious.

Hearing the faint sound of knocking on her door, she turned her iPod off and placed it on the side table. Walking near her door, she opened it slightly, noticing Luce standing there. Tatum didn't need to be told what was going on, she already knew. "I'll be ready in a few minutes. I just have to finish packing." More like start packing.. she thought to herself, sighing. Walking over to the corner of her room, she picked up a duffel bag and threw it onto her bed. Not knowing what type of weather to expect was going to be difficult. She had never been to Minnesota and therefore had no idea what it was like this time of year. Plus, the weather had been fluctuating recently, making it even harder to come to a decision about what to bring with.

Opening her closet door, she pulled out two pairs of sweatpants, one short-sleeve t-shirt and one long-sleeve, a pair of shorts, a sweatshirt, two pairs of jeans, and other necessities. This was the only way she knew for sure that she was prepared for this trip. To be honest, the thought of camping was exciting to her. They were all going to be out there in the woods with wildlife surrounding them. The only part of this trip that didn't appeal to her much was the fact they were going to have to sleep in tents together. Hopefully they were bringing a few; she didn't know how to feel if she was pressed up against two others. Not only the tents issue, but also having to be alone with others for a certain amount of time. There had to be a way to escape from them all, even if it was for a few minutes.

There are reasons as to why Tatum didn't enjoy being around others. Most of it was because of the walls she had built around herself at such a young age. Some of it was because of her past and how it's frightened her to the point where she doesn't even want to touch another person for fear of killing them. Shaking her head, she zipped her duffel bag closed, which contained all the needed items for this "trip." Her legs slowly carried her to the side table, where she opened it up and reached towards the back for the small hunting knife that used to belong to her father. It was her good luck charm - she took it on all the hunts, and even sometimes used it despite its small size. Placing the knife in her front pocket to her jeans, she turned on her heel and headed towards the door, taking her bag with her and knowing that Luce probably wouldn't be there anymore. Tatum walked back downstairs and outside, heading towards the garage. When she got there, she noticed only Adam and the twins were there at the moment. Slipping in quietly, she placed her bag on the floor and waited for the others to arrive, realizing she still didn't know who she was riding with.

Luce waited, sitting on top of the hood of her car, she noticed Tatum and lifted her arm for her to come over to her, "Tatum, you're with me. Just you and me. My car. Let's move it!" Her annoyance at Scott and Adam had made her temper short. Lenny knew not to anger her. Her powers were still a bit uncontrolable. She took a deep breath and focused on the positive. She'd be in her own element soon enough. The outdoors was her second home. She'd probably end up the one doing most of the actual tracking before they found the monster.

OOC: *Insert interesting comment here* At least the knife isn't the end-all for a fight. Glad about that. 8D

BIC: Scott's eyes trailed over towards Adam when he walked passed him. It had taken him long enough. While Scott had several comments about why Adam had taken so long, he kept them to himself, figuring he had spent enough time talking and not enough time hunting. He noticed several others pass him as well and finally decided to head towards the garage. He had nothing to pack, no extra things to take as he carried whatever he need on him at all times. Scott's pace slowed when he walked by Tatum, eyeing the girl curiously when he noticed that she seemed to be confused...or something like that. I guess I could always spare a few words. He thought to himself. While he may have acted like a jerk at times and like someone who had plenty of anger issues, deep down Scott was far from being a complete...well, a complete jerk.

"Aren't you going with Luce? It seems like Adam paired you with her." He lowly spoke, his dark brown eyes continuing to examine Tatum curiously. He glanced over his shoulder upon hearing Adam speak impatiently. "Yeah yeah, I'll be there when I get there." Scott returned his attention back to the girl, showing her a small smile. "You know, under better circumstances I'd ask you to hitch a ride with me. Too bad Lenny never let me get another car after I trashed my old one...It's not my fault I try to take on the biggest demons I can find." He shrugged and waved slightly at her before moving behind Adam's car and sliding it through the back window so his blade would rest comfortably. As for where his knife was, Scott knew how to keep it concealed. It made things more fun for him that way.

"I'm ready." He said once he 'hopped' into the passenger seat, leaning as far back into the chair as he possibly could. "Maybe you could blast the radio or something, I'm getting a feeling that this is gonna be a looooong-ass trip." Scott raised his head, as if staring into the sky. Several thoughts came to mind, one of them being an old memory when he had recently moved into the bar with the others. It had been a strange realization for him that this group had the same circumstances surrounding their births and yet they had all turned out so different. Now they were hunting the very thing that ruined their lives. He wasn't so sure if he could call it revenge or justice, but it was all the same to him. They would all get a chance to hit something to take their problems out on.

Klad tossed his bag into the backseat so that it neatly landed on the floor of the seat occupied by the tent box. And with that done he found the keys his sister had put there earlier, so he started the ignition and turned on the radio. Wondering with half his mind on what they were hunting, the other half on what way to best woo Rouge.

Rouge softly sighed as she packed up any things she figured would be necessary. She could hear Adam calling out to the others which made her rush her packing. She grabbed the book she was ready earlier, hoping she would be able to at least read something. For someone so quiet, reading was practically her hobby. She didn't speak with the others as often as they did with one another. It didn't bother her since if someone spoke to her, she'd respond back. She just was never one to start a conversation. The girl walked over to her desk, picking up her revolver and dagger. She never hid her weapons since she doubted anyone would even want to steal them.

Rouge picked up her bag and walked over to the door, placing her hand on the doorknob before looking around her room. I'm not missing anything, am I? Her eyes narrowed, opening the door and walked out. If she missed anything, then she doubted it'd be too important. She had clothes, her weapons and something to keep herself entertained if they got a break. She shifted the strap of her bag on her shoulder as she headed towards the garage. When she entered, she saw several of the others were already there.

Her eyes landed on the jeep, quietly heading towards it as she ignored the others. When she got closer to the vehicle, she noticed the twins were already inside. She looked down at her bag as she opened the passenger door. The bag wasn't too big so she put it on the floor so it'd be by her feet. She sat in the passenger seat, closing the door before she put the seat belt on. She adjusted herself in the seat so she'd be comfortable throughout the whole drive. She leaned back against the seat and pressed her elbow against the armrest that was on the door. She stared out the window, her cheek resting against her hand while the other rested on her lap.

"No worries, I got us covered," Adam grinned as he shut his door. He didn't plan on driving all the way to Minnesota in silence. It wasn't that he didn't expect to talk to Scott throughout the trip, but he doubted they could keep each other's interest for the entire trip. Adam put his shotgun in the back floorboard, safely behind his seat. One pistol was still in the glovebox and the other he placed under his seat, making sure the safety was on. He unclipped the knife and clipped it to his seatbelt as he put it on, simply for comfort purposes. He quickly started the car as he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. Probably Lenny with the coordinates, he thought to himself. Lenny always texted all Acolytes with coordinates to where they were going. While Lenny was the leader of the Acolytes, they had no field leader, so he simply gave them all the coordinates and all the information for their missions. "Check your phone for the location," he told Scott as he reached into his other pocket, grabbing his iPod. "My map's in the glovebox, under the gun," he said it casually as if every glovebox had a gun inside. That was the life of a hunter; they were all as comfortable with firearms as they were with their cell phones. "Grab my cigarettes, too," he added.Adam hooked up his iPod to the cord hanging out from his radio and started looking through artists. Finding a favorite song, he highlighted it but didn't play it. Instead, he pressed the buttons on the door to make the windows roll all the way down. "We're out of here!" He yelled loudly as he put on hand on the steering wheel. "Move the hell out, people!" was his next "order." With that, he pressed play on the iPod, let it drop as his speakers started to blare, put the car in gear and drove out of the garage, taking the lead. "I'm ready to hunt the boogeyman himself," he muttered to himself, although he could barely hear his voice with the music playing. He turned onto the road, heading in the direction of the highway.

"Yeah, they're on their way," Lenny spoke into his cell phone as he exited his bedroom. "They should be there by nightfall; they know where to meet you," he told the other speaker before shutting his door. He walked around the counter, hearing the speaker thank him, and walked towards the window with the "OPEN" sign on it. After pulling the chain to make the sign light up, he looked at the front door. He didn't mind the front door being open since it made the Roadhouse seem more hospitable. "No need to thank me. That's what friends are for, to hunt the monsters our normal friends can't," he laughed as he said it and walked towards the a table. The forest ranger wasn't so much a friend as an acquiantance or, as Lenny called them, a "client." He sat down and spoke his goodbyes to the ranger. He looked up and saw the backdoor -the door leading upstairs- open; The Acolytes must've have left it open as they left. He simply waved his hand and the door shut. With his age and experience and the Demon Blood he consumed throughout his life, Lenny could use his telekinesis with extreme ease. "Alright, they'll meet you there. Have a good one," he told the ranger, hanging up before getting a goodbye in return. Lenny sighed and reached into his pocket, pulling out a cigar. He inserted it into his mouth, but didn't bother to get out a lighter. As he chewed on it, he watched the open front door, wondering if there would be any customers today.

As soon as the stick was put into reverse, Klad entered an energetic zone. "Put the coordinates into your mapquest then hand me your phone." Energized he might havve been, but he followed the driver's manual to a crooked T. Bending it here and there whenever he felt necessary. While his sister put in the location he put the car into his comfort, shifting the seat and adjusting the rear-view mirrors until his sight was near perfect, front and back. Yawning he patiently waited until the Adam was far away enough for him to pull out of the drive and onto the road.

For the moment he contended with simply following Adam's car and left free his urge to converse with the people in the car with him. Klad tilted his head towards Rouge to this right. Eyes already pinpointing several things that would allow him to start up conversation. But then his memory recalled a book she'd been seen reading earlier. Being observant was key for him, with the thought of the book in mind he spoke to Rouge, "The book you're reading, what's it called, if you don't mind?" Not everyone fell for the charm or his passive abilities, especially people spiritually gifted or of supernatural origin like the others, that were strong enough. Klad couldn't help it though, it was like the the charm was embedded in him and everything he did. So of course it radiated out of him unconsciously when he simply spoke to Rouge.

Tatum glanced up at Scott when he stopped to talk to her. Awesome, she thought to herself upon hearing that she was riding with Luce. It's not that she didn't like Luce - it's just that the two weren't really friends. But then again, Tatum wasn't really friends with any of the others. "Thanks..I guess," she said, unsure of how to respond to that. Would riding with Scott be better than riding with Luce? Shrugging her shoulders at the thought, she walked over to Luce's car and got into the passenger side, not bothering to buckle up.

"You know how long a drive this is?" the white haired girl asked, opening up her duffel bag and taking out her iPod. Unraveling the headphones from around the music player, she placed them in her ears but didn't bother to turn the music on yet. Who knew if Luce wanted a quiet trip or if she wanted to actually talk. But at this point, Tatum was getting excited to get out of her, despite that fact that this was another hunting trip. Maybe one day they'll get a break and are actually able to take a legitimate vacation. That would be amazing, she thought to herself, glancing out the window and watching as the rest of the group pulled out of the garage.

Luce's gear and other things the others needed to pack were always in her car. Wherever she went, she was ready for anything. She glanced at Tatum, sucked in a deep breath and decided to be nice, she was only asking a question and it wasn't dumb like something a human would ask her. She removed the cold from her voice as she spoke to her, "It's a pretty long drive," she stopped and checked her phone, "Correction, it's a really long drive." Luce entered the coordinates into her GPS and started the ignition. Her car purred like a kitten and she smiled, "You can plug that into my car if you want. I don't mind. You hear a lot of different music on the streets, so I doubt your taste could offend me." She gave her a friendly wink. Luce wasn't a bad person, she just struggled getting along with crowds of people, but singles she could do. She was still part human. She could act like it. Luce pulled out after Klad and the others. Luce hesitated slightly, "So, Tatum, do you think you'll like Minnesota?"

Scott dug into his right pocket and pulled his phone out, looking carefully at a message he had received from Lenny. He stared at the coordinates as the glove compartment opened with no signs of contact, a paper map sliding out from under Adam's gun before the compartment closed shut. Scott prodded at a spot on the map with his index finger blandly saying, "Here." He glanced at Adam from the corner of his eye, figuring he couldn't hear him from the sound of all the music. Luckily for Scott, the music was at least tasteful. "I wonder if there's any chance of having any fun other than hunting." Scott said aloud, speaking under the volume of the rest of the noise as he leaned far back into the seat and stared at the now floating map.

Klaire’s eyes momentarily left the dimly glowing screen of her iTouch after she set the coordinates in, her thumb brushing habitually to the left to pause the game she had been playing. The long lashes of her eyes bordered the top of her vision as they narrowed, a loud and exasperated groan leaving her throat as she picked up on Klad’s woo-ing. Once she was sure he had heard, she wiggled in the warm seat below her and went back to her entertainment. As she seemingly put all of her attention into the strategic game she played, she allowed her thoughts to wander and flow freely to various subjects.

Briefly, she wondered what exactly they would be hunting and how long they would be out in Minnesota. Then, she focused her thoughts on what exactly it would be like going in blind. She would admit that it would feel nice to make it a more challenging hunt, but she could only hope that they would all work well enough together to make it out of there unscathed.

Adam shifted gears as he turned his head to look at the map. He shrugged and moved his gaze back to the road. "Yeah, all we have to do is kill this thing quick," he answered Scott as he moved his hand to turn down the radio quickly before having to shift gears again. He glanced at the rearview mirror and saw the others behind him. "What kind of fun are you talking about, sword boy? Slashing at things, blowing their heads off, and breaking the bones of werewolves simply by punching them isn't fun enough for ya?" He asked his passenger with a slight smirk.

Upon hearing that it was okay to hook her iPod up to the radio, Tatum rummaged through her duffel bag until she found the correct cords to plug in. Searching through the many songs, she finally settled on She's Got You High by Mumm-Ra to start out with. She then placed the iPod on shuffle, though she'll probably skip through many of the songs until she found one she wanted to listen to. Placing the iPod in a cup holder, she glanced out the window as they started heading out.

Snapping out of her gaze, she looked at Luce and gave a small nod. "I think it'll be nice. I've never actually been there, but I just have a feeling I'm going to like it, you know?" Maybe they'd be able to hunt down whatever it was they were searching for quickly and have the rest of the time to just take a break? Lenny probably wasn't expecting them back for a few days, so if they all really worked together, it shouldn't be that hard to finish the job. Tatum scrunched her nose up at the thought, though. It'd be a lovely vacation of the sorts, but it would have been better if it was just her and nature.
