OOC: terra254, I'm sorry but I didn't notice this before! You can't have a sword as your weapon. Supernatural takes place in a modern and realistic world, the same world you and I live in. A sword is too unconventional to use. I allowed Scott to have a sword because his power is super-strength so he can't use regular knives since they'll break. You can change it to a large dagger in holy water, though!
We're picking back up now! For all intents and purposes, the Acolytes are just pulling up into the Roadhouse. Lenny just got back after finding the two new recruits. How he found them I'll reveal in the next couple of posts. First he found Carson, and then Carson and Lenny went to find Alexis. All three of them are in the Roadhouse, in the bar. terra254 and Bushy-Brow, remember that your characters have just gotten a quick gist that monsters exist so they shouldn't be too comfortable with the idea, or even hunting.
Also, muff monkey and Aura's characters, Tatum and Rouge, never existed >> Luce killed the Wendigo, not Tatum, as the two members quit this RP. Fuzzybluelights...also seems to be gone so we'll pretend Klad died on the first mission as Acolytes (NOT THIS ONE WITH THE WENDIGO). Since everyone was new to hunting, it would be the perfect event to make everyone see how serious hunting is, but he was not there for this mission as he's died...years ago. The Demon Of Pride was controlling changed his mind and left, saying he'll have to come back some other time for secret reasons. I think that's everyone? Everyone else is still in.

    BIC:

Lenny was leaning against the counter, his arms crossed. His right foot tapped constantly and quickly against the dark wooden floor. On the counter of the bar behind, to his right, was an empty glass of wine. Next to it, an empty bottle of beer. In his mouth was a cigar, half-gone as smoke left it and dispelled into the air. "Damn it, Mulligan, hurry it up, will ya?" He whispered as he raised his glance up, a bit. He had made John, a veteran hunter and old friend of his, leave abruptly as he was the only customer after Lenny had returned from a "hunting trip," though it was more of a gathering than a hunt. This meant that the only people in the room were the young man and girl in front of him, sitting at two separate tables. "They should be hear any minute now," Lenny said suddenly as he sensed something with his sixth sense. He looked around the room once more; all of the doors were closed and the "Open" sign was turned off, despite it still being early into the evening. "In the meantime, why don't you-" he was interrupted by the sound of cars pulling up outside. "They're here!" He said, moving so fast that both the glass and bottle next to him fell to the floor...but they stopped inches before shattering. Without even looking, Lenny sent both back to the counter and walked towards Alexis and Carson. "Now...let me do all the talking. You'll get to introduce yourselves soon enough, alright?"

"Oh god, oh god, oh mother****ing god, I finally get to take a hot shower~" Adam sang as they reached the Roadhouse's garage. He drove past it, stopped, put the gear into reverse, and backed into it. "Hurry it up, Emeril, get your steak knife out of here," he said to Scott as he turned off his Mustang. "Knock your pace up a notch and let's go, I want a shower!" He said as he jumped out, locking the door and mumbling "bam!" with a smile. He left one pistol and his shotgun beneath his seat, making a mental note to come back for them later. He ran towards the Roadhouse, almost getting hit by Luce on the way. "Watch where you're driving!" He yelled as he kept running before stopping. "What the-?" The "Open" sign was off. It was prime time for customers. Why would Lenny close early? Not waiting for the others, Adam reached into his waist and pulled out the one pistol he had on him. He slowly pushed the door open with his gun facing forward, not sure what to expect...but it wasn't Lenny and two other teens. "What? Lenny, why are we closed?"

Alexis just simply nodded at what the man had said.
She hadn't spoken a word since they had arrived at the Roadhouse. She just sat down at her table... proceeded to cross her arms and listen to what Lenny had said.
She still wasn't quite sure how to handle everything she had heard from him. But she strangely did believe him. It explained her strange powers and everything else weird and F***ed up in her life.
She was just trying to get her head around it all... she kept analysing the information again and again.
She didn't know what to think of the idea of hunting either. All she had ever known in her life was the streets, and all she did know was that from now on... life would be very different.
Would it better than what she had previously? Most likely yes.
Would it be a whole lot more difficult? ...Yes to that too.

Suddenly a young man came in, with a gun aimed forwards. He was clearly being cautious...
The sight of the gun made her feel uncomfortable.
In all of her time even on the streets, she had never really encountered a gun. Just knives etc.
These other people... people with powers like her. They were ready to kill if they had to... Alexis just couldn't be sure...
All she had ever done on the street was survive. She had never killed... severely injure if need be... perhaps the occasional maiming. But never killed.
She had been untouchable because of her strange abilities. Her amazing reflexes...
Something told her that her title as 'Untouchable Cutie of the Streets' probably wouldn't mean that much anymore. Not that she cared... she never liked the title that she had been branded with anyway.

Carson nodded slightly. He looked around,he'd only said "Yes " or "Okay" since Lenny found him.He found the idea that there was entire group of physics hard to believe. He also didn't understand the concept of the "Monsters",if they were true, why did they never get caught? He also wanted to know why it was them who had to kill them.

Then,a man walked in with a gun,Caron flinched. Then looked up..He wasn't sure what to do.He finally decided he was just being careful. If he'd wanted to hurt them he would've done it already.

OCC:Sorry for posting kinda badly,I don't know what to post yet, once we start I'll probably start posting better.

Luce shook her fist and flicked Adam off as he ran in front of her car. Stupid boy...sooo tired... she thought as she climbed out of her car, locked the doors and checked her pistols. Routine. Her mind followed the same path as Adams as she noticed the off 'Open' sign. Though, less willing to draw her pistols, since she had incredible faith in Lenny, she followed Adam inside. Her icy blue eyes rolled as she watched Adam enter, though her hand rested on her pistol strapped to her right thigh. "Would you put that thing away? I don't think Len...." she broke off in mid-sentence as she spotted the two teens sitting at a table, looking rather startled by Adam and his gun.
Thoughts raced through her head, Not more new Acolytes. All over again...I have to teach them not to mess with me all over again. It's bad enough I have to deal with dumb and dumber; now... Luce anaylized the two in one cold sweep of her blue eyes and swept her silver hair into a tight ponytail. She could tell the girl had been living on the streets...obviously not the same ones as Luce herself had lived on or else she'd be a lot more cold. Her fingers tightened on her pistol, though she didn't draw it and flicked her eyes to Lenny, "I think some explanations are required here."

Alexis watched as another person entered the room. This time a silver haired girl.
Alexis caught the girls cold stare with a stare just as cold, she could tell exactly what the girl was thinking.
She didn't look away until the silver haired girls herself flicked her eyes away to Lenny.
Alexis had been able to tell a lot from the girls eyes. She was much like Alexis herself with a similar upbringing, her eyes had THAT look in them that you got from the street and never got rid of once you had lived it, and lived it hard. She also could feel a sense of... she didn't know how to describe it. This girl felt disdain that there were more new... what had Lenny called them? 'Acolytes'?
Further more... there was an aura of superiority coming from her...
God... why is it that I can tell that living with her isn't gonna be easy? pfft... she thought to herself. Oh well... she had had to deal with all sorts of people in her life... even if this girl had powers like her... she didn't care.

OOC: Had to replace the picture for Adam in the first post. Damn it, photobucket. At least I know what character I used. Will edit the first post (take out the quitters, and put in the new Acolytes) tonight. Also, changing Adam's color >>

BIC: Adam looked at the two and then back at Lenny, realizing it had to be something serious. He put his pistol back into his waistband and walked forward towards Lenny. "Let me guess, another mission? They're victims? Witnesses?" He said, slightly annoyed. We just got back from a mission! Can't I eat, shower, and just sleep? He thought to himself. Then he realized that Lenny wouldn't have closed down the bar just for a mission. "Wait...it has to be more serious than that...is it something about Azazel?!" He asked, excitedly as he took another step forward, swinging his arm.

"Heh, something like that," Lenny chuckled. He wasn't sure how to answer. Adam had been an Acolyte for five years, since he was fifteen. Same as Scott. Luce, even longer, she was his first. He looked back at Alexis and Carson. How did he miss them before? He sighed and looked back at the oldest Acolytes. Scott and Klaire still weren't there, were they still in the garage? "We should wait until the other two get in here. All of you need to hear this," he told Luce and Adam as he walked around, chewing on his cigar.

Luce felt the urge to slap Adam and suppressed it. She took a seat on a barstool, setting one of her pistols down on the bar counter, "If they were witnesses or victims, do you think you should be flinging that name around so carelessly!?" She couldn't tell if Adam was being careless or just dumb. She hadn't liked the recognition in the girl's eyes at Luce being from the streets as well. She hoped she wouldn't want a heart to heart. Unlike most of the little street urchins she'd seen in her lifetime there, she'd been the exception and hated everyone no matter who they were. Save for Lenny. But by t he time he'd found her under that cardboard box, she'd been so broken she couldn't have cared if he was there to kill her or take her home.
Luce sighed, flicking her icy eyes from the girl to the new boy and to Lenny. I swear the first mention from this girl's mouth about sharing or anything realatively girly, I'm gonna put a bullet in her head. Acolyte or not.

EDIT: School ended before I could finish.

"What's all the noise for?" Scott's voice called out from another room. He had completely ignored the existence of the other two newcomers and had immediately headed to a bathroom to wash his hands and face. He sometimes had a habit of ignoring everything around him when he was focused on something. Scott stopped short as he popped his head around a corner, finally spotting the other two. I must've walked in so fast I didn't see them. ...But who are "them"? He ran a hand slowly through his hair and stepped forward, flicking his wrist to the ground to rid of of excess water. "New people to add to the family or what?" Scott asked, turning towards Lenny. "Does this mean people will be sharing rooms?" Scott glanced over at Luce then back at Lenny. "I wouldn't mind sharing with...someone." He added, not being entirely serious. Though...I might actually mind if it did come to that.

Carson sat patiently. He looked over at the that was sitting at the other table. He then forced a smile to spread across his face.He looked at the people who had just entered the room.He looked back at the girl's eyes, the cold stare in her eyes made him shiver.Man,I wonder if ALL these people lived on the streets before meeting here....

Klaire didn't say much. She didn't feel a need to. Her fingers weaved together, and eyes focused in on them. Things were changing, and she could feel a headache coming on. There were strangers in the room with them now, and she could only manage to blink quietly at them, otherwise averting her attention. She couldn't say that she necessarily wanted to be there, or to interact with the others. She felt detached. Awkward. Her eyes gazed over towards the more experienced Acolytes, before her chin dropped and her stare returned to her hands, she swallowed down a sigh and felt herself lean back against the darkest wall, eyebrows furrowed.

Adam shrugged at Luce. In fact, if they were witnesses or victims with nothing to do with Azazel, he doubted that they would even know what that name meant. There was relatively no lore on Azazel. He knew; he's done more research on that one Demon than a university senior has done in their entire school career. He looked as Klaire walked in and then at Lenny. "'ight, everyone's here. Now, explain," He said as he sat down, eyeing Carson and Alexis.

"Geez, Mulligan, you're bossier than me," Lenny said, shaking his head. "Watch your tone." He grabbed the cigar out of his mouth and pointed to the boy, "This is Carson. Carson Barran to be exact." He then pointed it to the girl. "That's Alexis...well, just Alexis," he frowned. Poor Alexis didn't even know her last name. "Carson, Alexis, that's Mulligan," he pointed to Adam, "But you can call him Adam. Milligan. The brute is Scott Grey. Then Luce Shadow and Klaire Cross," he pointed to each one with the cigar as he said their names. "Now...just like Scott guessed, these are your new family members. Acolytes," Lenny sighed, worried about their reactions, "welcome the newest Acolytes. Carson and Alexis, they're both Children of Azazel."

"WHAT?!" Adam jumped up abruptly, his chair falling over as he did so. More Special Children? The Acolytes have been together for years. Lenny had been searching for them even longer, Adam knew this for a fact. Lenny's unique power came in handy, but how were there two new Acolytes?

"Well thanks for making us feel welcome..." He said, running his hand through his hair."I can leave. No problem. If only i knew where we were..." He stood up and started to look around.A sneeze escaped his mouth. He looked around, wondering if anyone would say "Bless you.".He sat at a table and started to carve something in it with his, long, slick, sparkly, knife.

Luce growled. Her nails dug into the bar counter and scratched marks along it as she curled her hand into a fist. "You're terrible at jokes Lenny. This is low. Low!" She stood, upturning the barstool she sat on. Glaring malevolently at Carson and Alexis, she left, heading to her room up the stairs and slamming her door closed.

Inside her room, Luce seethed. "New Acolytes, I saw this coming when I saw them and yet...." She couldn't finish her own sentence. She'd had enough of her current members of their little family. Having more was tipping her over an edge. Falling back onto her bed, she slid her fingers under the pillow and touched the old revolver she kept in her room at all costs. Though she adored her twin pistols, she cherished the old revolver. Spinning it she emptied the gun of all but one bullet. An odd game she played wasn't Russian Roulet with herself and a wall, it was Russian Roulet with her limited bottles of Jack Daniels. Four bottles...one bullet. Taking aim at the first, Luce barely flinched as she squeezed the trigger, hearing the empty ~click~ and aiming it at another bottle of her precious Jack.

OOC: I'm gonna change my colour too then, I originally wanted yellow, but saw someone else was using it.
    Guess they aren't now.

    ~

    Alexis stood up too.
"Charming." was the first word she muttered, and it was rather sarcastic at that.
    She headed for the door.
"I can tell when I'm in a place where I'm not wanted.
It's always been the same, and you get used to it. I should'a known this would be a waste of my time.
I'm out of here." she said coldly.
She put her hand on the doorknob, ready to turn it.
    She looked back at Lenny.
"You said this was the one place I'd be with others like me... where I could belong and fit in.
    Yeah... right."
She opened the door and began to walk out.

Klaire ran a hand through her hair and let out a long sigh, glancing at the newcomers once more and wondering what to say, or if she should say anything at all. She realized that lately, especially, the pain in her chest wouldn't cease. It was more persistent than usual, and the tension in the household wasn't making it any better. She could only stare at the floorboards, blinking as a noise reached her ears from upstairs. Luce. She didn't understand why everyone had to be such a prick about it. So far, Scott had yet to react, but both Luce's and Adam's reactions seemed over the top for her.

She didn't mind that there were two new additions to the family. In her heart, the more distractions, the better. But she couldn't find the comforting words to tell them. She could only find silence, and anticipation. She was waiting. For that familiar warm hand to touch her head and that twin smile of her's to shine back down on her. But Klad was gone. She had always thought about this happening, and what she would do in the case. But her estimations were far off. She didn't cry. She wasn't angry at the world. But somehow, it was deeper than that. There was a desperation deep down inside. She wanted something to fill the gap so badly, that all she could do was focus on it being there. The gap. The hole he left. The missing link. What was even worse was the realization that he would never be back. That her desires went unheard, and that the emptiness would be there until she herself passed on.

It was more than she could handle. So instead, there was nothing anymore. So she sat there, fiddling with her fingers, blinking though her eyes remained unfocused, simply taking in the situation and the reactions of those around her. Pastimes. Nothing more, nothing less. Distractions.

Why is everyone so negative? Scott's eyes wandered towards Alexis as she began to walk out the door. He could admit that he himself wasn't the friendliest person ever but he wasn't going to let the newcomers walk out just yet. They all had the same connection. "Bless you." He muttered towards the one who had sneezed before walking out after the girl. "You shouldn't take their reactions so seriously." He called out. "They're just shocked. Maybe they're all bothered because they have to get to know more new people." Scott added, folding his arms staying by the doorway. "Give them a chance, we're all family after all." Family...was that really the best word for it? Scott wasn't sure what else to call them but it was the only thing he could think of. "Just don't go walking out on us...not yet anyways." He turned his head over to look back inside, glancing at the others. "They could've reacted a little better I suppose..."

Carson leaned against a wall.He was glad to finally hear someone say it.Then he heard it,"Suppose." Suppose? He sighed and finished the carving. It was only a cross. He looked down."What do you guys want again?" He said straightening his hair.He put his knife away, keeping his hand on it.He griped it tightly.
