If you haven't noticed, I've been slacking. My latest, lady in red, had nothing but simple smudging. Well I've been trying to get a new style...

New style. Gonna' stick with this one for GIMP. For those PS users, it's easy. Not for GIMP though. I've been trying to figure out how to do it.

Please tell me I'm out of my slump.

    THE BLURRINESS! OH, THE BLURRINESS!

    *cough*

    Sorry.

Anyway, this is pretty good, but by making that side so blurry and un-effect-ish, it's boring. In oppose to the sharp stock, it hurts. Try to gradually move from sharp to blurry. I like that little S thing there, but I think it'd be nice if you added more swirly type things surrounding the chick. I dunno why, but I think it'd look cool.

The splatters are a little out of place, but that little part on the bottom right looks pretty.

    xD Nice job, though.

I'm all for using space to make a statement in sigs but with this one it almost feels like something got lost in translation.

Could you add in something to balance it out a little?

Well, it looks much more different than your old style.

The splatters could be placed in a more suitable place, particularly the right side of the render at the bottom. I can't discern any light to dark spots. It might help to combine this...'style' with your old one, so it doesn't look so bland. You could displace by a sparks layer, twice, and then just lower the opacity and then erase some of it.

I'll try to think of more CnC, but I just can't think of it yet.
