"No...no..." Lucy said, dropping to her knees. "Why, Emerl? You said you would protect me...Emerl..."

 

The Dragon stopeed, a tear falled down his right eye, then he screamed in an agude way, Metal Overlord covered his ears.

 

Lucy was shocked, widening her eyes as she looked up at the Metal Overload. "E-Emerl?"

 

The Dragon continue screaming, until he turned into Emerl and separated from Metal Overlord, his thrid eye closed.

"Hey Metal!" Sonic shouted, he was in his super form "Let´s end this!" He said and both start fighting in the sky.

 

Lucy ran over to Emerl, shouting his name. "Emerl!!"

 

Emerl fell to the ground, with his three eyes closed.

"Is been a while, Sonic, my loathsome copy" Metal Overlord said.

Sonic Sonic charged at him.

He charged at Sonic.

 

Lucy rushed over to Emerl, falling to her knees, touching his shoulders."Emerl! Emerl! Are you alright? Emerl!"

 

Emerl didn´t answer.

"Take this!" Metal Overlord said and throwed a giant energy blast at Sonic.

He evaded it.

 

"Emerl, please wake up..." Lucy pleaded, a tear falling from her cheek.

 

Emerl still didn´t answer.

Sonic and Metal continue fighting.

 

Lucy held Emerl close to her, and said, "I...I love you Emerl...you said you'd protect me...you were the only one who cared for me...please don't leave me..."

 

"...... Mph, heheheheh, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" Metal Overlord said and falled to the ground laughting at Lucy´s words "THAT´S SO STUPID, HE´S A ROBOT!" He said between laughts.

 

Lucy looked up at Metal Overload, glaring at him. "He's not just a robot. I believe he can feel...and that makes him close to a human...if not already human, deep inside."

 

Metal Overlord flew up and was going to dive and impact her, but then he feeled something warm, as Super Sonic pieced thought him.

"Hgh! Why? I had it all. I am the ultimate overlord, Metal Sonic, I am the REAL Sonic!" Metal Overlord said and exploted, then he turned to Metal Sonic, then he dissapeared.

 

Lucy gasped, but still held Emerl close by.

Emerl slowly openes his eyes, without opening his third one "Huh, what happened?" He asked.

 

"Emerl!" Lucy exclaimed, embracing him tightly. "I thought you were dead!"

 

Emerl slighty rubbed his head, then he somehow kissed her in the lips.

 

Lucy was startled but she felt a warm feeling well up inside of her. "Emerl..." she murmured.
