Kiba walked along the walls of the lounge, avoiding the children at all costs. He wasn't exactly the "friendly type" around kids...

 

as kyo was trying to avoid the kids he saw Kiba trying to do the same, "heh, so you can't stand them either can you?"

 

"They're....annoying...." Kiba muttered.

 

"at least you can't change into a cat by accident" Kyo muttered, "you know how much mre annoying they get when they see animals!?"

 

"No, I don't. Whenever I become my true form in public, humans run away in fear, and I'm shot at with guns, even when I don't mean harm. They just don't understand! That's why I must resume a human form around them, as much as I laothe it. I don't see why you'd want to be human..." Kiba said in a tone mixed with sadness and anger.

 

"its the same for me with this bracelet" Kyo said and showed him his black and white bracelet, "and i like it better as a human because then i'm not a monster or someone's pet."he shuddered, "why do you like being a wolf so much?"

 

Sonic and Amy passed by, then Amy tried to hug Sonic but she failed and hugged Kyo "Oh, sorry" He said and de-hugged him, then she hugged Sonic.

 

"damn it! look what you did!" Kyo yelled as he transformed. he quickly jumped behind Kiba before the kids could see him.he waited for Kiba's answer.

 

Kiba smiled, "Wolves are neither monsters nor pets. They have pride, and respect. They were put on Earth to help." Kiba's smile truned turned to a frown, "But humans...hunted them. To the point where there are only a few of us left. They think we are extinct, but we are merely fooling them with illusion." He put his foot in front of Kyo protectively, to block him from view.

 

"thanks.well i can see why you like being a wolf more and hate humans" Kyo said,"why do you change from human to wolf anyway? is it like a spell or something?"

 

Kiba looked up, "It is an illusion. My species has evolved to where we can make ourselves look human, and walk amongst them without them even suspecting us. Only other wolves can tell the difference."

 

"oh well that's way better than the bond" Kyo muttered, 'at least you can do it by choice. why do you choose to walk among them anyway if they're so bad?"

 

"Mother? Father?" Emerl asked enought loud for that Kiba and Kyo would hear him while looking at Sonic and Amy.

 

Kyo looked at Emerl and then at Sonic and amy, "those are your parents?"

 

Emerl nodded.

 

Kiba sighed, "Do you realize what would happen if the kids saw a beast with sharp teeth and claws staring at them? I don't want to scare them...much. And the other humans that carry guns with them?"

 

"i do sort of" Kyo said sadly, "and the guys with guns? well i bet you could take em on. these guys aren't very strong"

 

Kiba chuckled, "You're right. You don't know how many people I've had to kill, to make it clear that they can't break me."

 

Kyo looked shocked, "you've actually killed people? don't you feel guilty about it?"
