I like how Luigi's final smash has different effects each time you use them.

You move Sonic yourself, however, the speed at which he moves while in Super Sonic mode is something to get used to before you can effectively make use of his FS.

I got a chance to play Brawl last night at the end of a party, a friend bought round his Wii. And I loved it. It's just what you would expect, it's just Smash Bros with extras.

I quite liked Pit, I started to get good with him. Also Falco's new Down B move will take time getting used to. King Dedede is good, one of those slow characters which i'm not so great with. Now Snake is a hard character to master. He has a weird moveset which you will have to get a custom to.

Same goes for Olimar you will really have to get to used to his moveset. Pokemon Trainer I liked. Using all 3 was good, Sqiutle for his quickness, Ivysaur for his range, and Charizard for strength. Definatly the most balanced character you can use.

Now Sonic I didn't like much, he was weak, fast but his moves lacks power to send people flying. Oh I love Luigi's final smash. XD

As for Ike, Soush I know what you mean, he feels to slow for the way he is, he has good smashes, but feels to slow.

Lucas is just well...Ness but some different moves, but I never got to try out Metaknight, Wario and Diddy Kong.

I actually like Lucas more than Ness. His aerial moveset as well as his smashes are a whole lot better for my style of play (not to mention his BAir is an uber awesome spike). Going back to his smashes, they might be a little slower than Ness' yoyo smashes (Foward smash excluded), but in all honesty, Ness' yoyo-smashes have never impressed me and have burdened me more than helped. Lucas on the other hand has some really dirty (in a good way) smashes.

Despite what I've said about Ike, I still find myself using him. But I have a feeling he's going to become another Roy story for me. That is, the current metagame that Brawl's at, Ike seems to destroy the competition (mostly in free for alls, but I've haven't had too much problem with duels yet), but as the gameplay advances and people hone in on the gameplay mechanics, I think my use of Ike will decrease as I progress with my other mains Marth and Pit.

Dedede is probably my favourite from the heavy class. I'm not too technical with him at the moment (I wanna master those ridiculous edge-guarding techniques that I've seen some Dedede users use in some JP matches) but I absolutely adore using him cause he's so hilarious and his Forward Smash (the slowest one I think in the game) is so satisfying to land.

In other news, 6 1/2 days left until Brawl (EST). Lol.

The friend who has it played Ike often, he was really good with him, It's just getting a custom to him. Lucas I quite liked, but the whole his Up B move isn't the movement up to save you from falling over edges got me. XD I never realised you have yo use the grapple.

After playing it I crave for more. XD It's making me consider finding methods of playing the US version. <>

Hey, does Toon Link and Normal Link have the same moveset/moves? Hehe, my name is Lucas.

I'd rather be the normal Link cause he is taller, and seems like he could reach ledges better by that benifent.

Well, Link is slower, but more powerful and Toon Link is quicker, but less strong.

Uhh, wait what? Lucas's Up-B is a recovery move (xD), you have to hit yourself with the PK Thunder and it launches you forward (One of the most effective recoveries in the game)

Lucas's Tether Recovery with the Ropesnake is, unfortunately, probably the worst out of all of them =\

Isn't it supposed to be the same as Ness?

Anyways, out of the 20-30 something characters (too lazy to count) I'm only gona use *points to siggy, guy with huge longsword* and maybe *points to other swordsman in siggy, with long blue hair* (I love doing the Jump+A+down technique at the right time when your opponents are trying to recover)

It's just Marth's DAir spike, lol. But yes, it was fun in melee; timing's different in Brawl, but still doable.

It felt too slow, especially since I had just Marth'd it up in Melee prior.

Ah, that's what it was, I was just being impatient. XD

Edit: Well I've found a way to get SBB when it comes in the US without having to buy a Japanese Wii or mod my Wii. Freeloader has recently come out so I can play imported games. =D

=X Have you confirmed the date of that news, DA? Because as far as I know, Datel never released a Freeloader for the Wii because Nintendo could always release a new firmware that rendered the discs unplayable. There was simply an announcement of a Wii Freeloader on the way, but it never happened, and the announcement came ages ago.

The only Freeloader that could've been used on the Wii at some point in time was the GC one, and that only worked for GC games, not Wii titles. And even then, one of the earlier firmware updates rendered the Freeloader disc unuseable several months after the Wii launch.

Do you have a source link?

Well, it certainly is recent like you said. It seems Datel really was up to something.

Seems promising, I'll have to wait for some reviews before I consider buying it--since being a NA consumer, there isn't any need for me to rush at the moment--but it certainly seems like a godsend for the UK right now.
