As for Dedede being in. I really am starting to believe Sakurai reads the Smashboards. Like, obsessively. Otherwise, how on earth did we get Sonic, Pictochat stage, King Dedede, and Ike? XD

He's the silly can't-really-hurt-a-fly kind of comic relief villain; the main villain from Kirby. I believe his royal subjects are Waddledees :3

Anywho, he usually stirs up trouble, but ends up getting in it himself too. He's kind of like, Dr. Drakken from Kim Possible, lol.

Also, a Nintendo rep at E for All leaked that Luigi's back. Lol.

 

Luigi's back? Thank God, I thought he was taken out due to the fact there's a Luigi costume for Mario. T-T
And The problem with Krystal is that she's almost exactly like Fox, unless they get quite creative with her, she'd just be a clone.

Crystal definitely wouldn't be a clone. =/ She has the staff-thingie (I think, it's been a while since I played SFA).

 

Ugh, SFA. Beautiful graphics, but short as hell. Beat it under <7 hours, such a shame D: It had some fun bits.

But yeah, Crystal wouldn't be a clone of Fox, there's no way that girl is going to be getting a blaster or anything technological besides her staff. She'd probably mimic Sheik to some degree if anyone... except with a staff.

 

And probably have some unique ability with those spirits as well. :3 That'd be cool.

King Dedede: Special Moves

<Up Special Move: Super Dedede Jump>



Look! That’s a serious jump!



And he lands HARD!

King Dedede’s great jump is his specialty! But he doesn’t have much freedom while jumping, and his vulnerability when he lands is pretty significant.

That said, if things look bad, just tap down on the Control Stick.



You can flip over and cancel it in midair.

However, if you try to cancel just before landing, you’ll make a fool of yourself, and you’ll be vulnerable for even longer, so watch out.


<Side Special Move: Waddle Dee Toss>



Just toss them out there.

He pulls out Waddle Dees from who knows where and throws them. The Waddle Dees then waddle around afterward.



Occasionally a Waddle Doo appears...



And Gordo, too.


<Down Special Move: Jet Hammer>

This time, King Dedede’s hammer is actually mechanized. The head’s rotation is powered by a motor.

And it can do this.



Whoa! What is this?!?

If you hold down the Control Stick and the special-move button simultaneously, you can charge up his hammer. And you can unleash it in one blow!



The power of the jet multiplies the destructive force!

You can even walk around with it charged up, but you can’t save the charge by pressing the shield button. Also, if you charge it up too much, it will increase your own damage, so be careful.

His jump looks useful despite the vulnerability. And his hammer looks like a nice powerful weapon if you can time it good. Im wondering if Kirby can take the powers of those waddle doo's and become beam kirby. That would make a Kirby/King Dedede team really awesome :3

 

It's funny when that dude jumps, it even makes Bowser's *** fly.

 

Seems like a good character to use. I can't wait to play as him.

I thought that fox got the staff thing in SFA? but did she get it back or something?

 

Well it was originally hers. But Fox borrowed it for a little while to get through things.

After playing SSBM profusely this past weekend, getting my skill back with Marth, I'm even MORE hyped for SSBB. XD

I hope they bring Megaman or Zero as an unlockable.

 

Zero in Brawl would be the most awesome thing ever.
