Super Smash Bros Brawl - Delayed Edition

Today's announced seems a meh one about the return of Smash Target.

But they added something special in. =D

A target-breaking mode has appeared in every game in the Smash series. It’s a mode that challenges you to break ten targets within a given time limit—basically, a game for those who salivate at the thought of speed runs.



Break the targets!

It’s outdoors now, giving it a refreshing visual appearance. This time, there are five different maps of varying difficulty—challenges you can take on with your favorite character.



Each of the five maps is distinctive.

Some levels have items as well, so you may be able to use them to cut your time even more.

Use all of your character’s skills to beat your own personal records!



This is the pause screen.

If you fail, you can pause the game and try again. You can also confirm the overall layout by pausing.

There is another announcement I’d like make simultaneously...

This time, you can view replays. What this means is, the game records what you did in brawls or in Target Smash and lets you review it.



You can record about three minutes worth of replay data.

And it’s even possible to send replays of your most amazing times to Wii Friends! If you compete against each other, things will surely heat up.



Fire it off!

It feels great to use all of your knowledge and techniques to shave off a hundredth of a second. But you don’t have to do that to enjoy these features, so I hope you’ll give it a try regardless.​

 

I only liked this update because the update that he nonchalantely placed the good stuff with mehness. xD

 

Huzzah. Now we know that they have a pumped up version of the target smashing to go along with the awesome sandbag. I like the varying difficulties of the stages and the items in there. That should make for some interesting strageties. Now I shall await for an awesome version of the platform game if thats even possible xD.

Not too thrilled about today's update, but at the same time, I think it's a necessary addition. :3

Too bad it you can't have two people competing at once, XD.

Well, true. I should've rephrased and added "right now" to avoid that rebuttal.

Just at this point, I quote:

I'm pretty hyped with the latest news though.

It'll be pretty fun to record a fight with all my friends lawl. And then review it. Memories, reminiscence. Did I spell that right? xD

OK, I know I left, but I just had to come back to post in this thread for King Dedede!

I bet despite his adorable appearance, he'll be ub3r strong, like UB3R strong.

Finally a good update, didn't expect to see him here as a playable, maybe a assist trophy...
But hell, I'm excited to have the great Dedede in Brawl. xD

That is the amazing King Dedede, from the Kirby series.

 

Right... "Amazing"... But the more, the merrier! I just hope adding all of these characters doesn't interfere with the quality of the game.

 

Simply LOL.

Everytime I mentioned King Dedede as a playable, I said it as a joke, but hey, wow, it actually became real. Just some personal amusement that just months ago, I was laughing it up with friends going "Imagine King Dedede, LOL".

Anything can happen; this update has brought entertainment to my the gloomy silent atmosphere since my trip to school.

King Dedede is a very odd name xD
he has a huge army ?

 

I know, we were just joking about him the other day xD. But I guess if they do it right, I wouldnt mind playing as him. He'll be in the heavyweight class but I dunno if he can keep with with Bowser's claws.
