Super Smash Bros Brawl - Delayed Edition

Two things:

a) That final smash will be a badass move to pull off at the end of a combo.
b) The OST remix playing in the backgorund is awesome. I can't wait for someone to rip the music from this game.

But at least it has range, pretty Link-esque but it's definitely got an element of surprise in a Free For All.

 

I just love how they did it like a Fire Emblem critical hit, showing the the instant kill on the hp.

 

oh LOL, I just clued in to that now.

Also uber cool on being able to do it in the air. I can imagine some ridiculous juggling finishing with that.

 

Especially since Marth has the stun combos that just leave you falling helplessly.

 

His neutral air hasn't changed either. Haha, well--not sure on how the knockback fares, but I certainly haven't seen too much of a difference in his moveset, other than his charged B changing into a thrust--which I think is awesome.

I have a few friends in Glasgow who pretty much import all their consoles and games, so they're pretty much in line with the NA scheduling. The Euro market gets no love from them. XD

Hey guys! A while back, I found a Super Smash Brothers flash game! http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/333995#

 

So, I haven't been on all week, but I have been up to date with the release of the Brawl release in Japan, so I'm gonna toss my two cents in here. (And I realize that I probably missed the flood of info here if there was one)

Spoilers (Secret Characters and Final Smashes of those characters):

I'm going to start off with Toon Link. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was included in the game. He is a clone. He has the same Final Smash as Link, but it does give us an option between the two as to how they look. There is a Dark Toon Link as with regular Link and, may I add, very creepy. Also, Toon Link is detailed. You can see where his tunic is sewn and so forth. He is not cel-shaded as in WW. It makes him more favorable in my opinion. Back to the clone thing. I may take that back when the game comes out in the Americas. There may be a different feel between the two. For example, speed may change and there may be minor variations in the moves (as with Ness and Lucas shown in todays update).
R.O.B. I am pretty skepticale about. I have to see a bit more of him before I can make any concrete conclusions, but he may be hard to use and has to be mastered in order to be used skillfully enough.
I'm indifferent about Lucario. I don't have much to say.
I am very happy that Mr. Game & Watch is back in. He was one of my mains back in Melee and I'm okay with his Final Smash. The giant octopus can be pretty wierd, but is also pretty useful if used accordingly.
And Luigi's Final Smash is pretty tight. It's like a disco. He dances and a giant orb engulfs a section of the arena and the characters in that orb fall asleep in the psychadelic colors.

That's all I have to say. And I will really enjoy this game with everything it has to offer.

 

The game's pretty fun, for me, though I gotta say the distance and recovery rate are a bit too far over, but I gotta say I love how many tracks they've returned, though I was surprised when I heard a Tetris track in the game. Not really a spoiler, unless you don't want to know this song was in the game and would rather be surprised.

 

Luigi has the Mangekyou Sharingan. CLEARLY.

I discovered an interesting piece of music hidden on the SSBB site from non-Japanese speakers. There is a song on the Cook Kirby update in the Japanese site. I cannot translate the lyrics or the song title for I don't speak Japanese.

Wow, so I've unlocked around 300 songs..and I'm not even half way through yet...

Can someone say biggest soundtrack for a game ever?

 

I'm kind of sad that this game leaked.

Nope. Not playable.

Deoxys can be summoned from a Pokeball, though.
