Super Smash Bros Brawl - Delayed Edition

Yeah, I've also been following Japan's wiki on Smash Bros Brawl (Not wikipedia) an exact JP Wiki dedicated to video games. And for Brawl they actually have a small explanation on how the "Character Select" video was made, showing many high quality images of that video. So now I highly believe it's fake after seeing that. There's a a lot of new things added to that wiki recently as well, I'll translate it to see if anything is groundbreaking new.

Note: Masashi and Ikki are two JP pros from the Melee scene. Ikki was/is a Peach main, and Masashi was a Roy main (I believe, although he has many matches with Fox).

I gotta say, 5 days until launch and Ikki already seems to be developing into a skilled Dedede player. I just lol'ed at the pseudo-chained Down throws Ikki does from time to time. XD

Four new vids there, though they aren't really ground breaking the only one I did see useful was the Assist's Trophy one. The smash ball vid was just showing Mario's.

I feel like such a loser saying this, but I really can't convince myself otherwise:

Is that Marth @1:30 O.o; I keep saying to myself it's Ike, but it really looks like our blue-haired Marth in his familiar Melee outfit wielding the Falchion.

EDIT: And again @1:46... Ike and Marth running together... I'm totally confused, does this mean Marth's back.. lmao.

 

That was Marth as plain as day with his back to Metaknight. We could assume that costume change for Ike may change everything including the hair and sword, but no other character was showcased in "alternate colours". I'm getting tried of being jerked around. If I wanted to be I would've paid the girl on the corner a dollar.

Edit: Marth running beside Ike, and Ness with the other Earthbound/ mother 3 dude. Assist trophies? Actual characters? Gah, where's that dollar I had earlier?

 

Well, about the Ness/Lucas thing, Ness wasn't officially confirmed, but there's a pretty legitimate leak that confirms that Ness is a returning character. So that explains why Ness appears in the opening as clear as day, but MARTH took me by complete surprise.

If Ike and Marth become the Fire Emblem representatives for the roster, I'm gonna take a moment and just laugh at Roy.

 

And I'll re-prioritize my main.

It looks like we'll have nearly as much starting roster as Melee's entire roster did. I'm really looking forward to Brawl even more now.

Though I'm definitely surprised that Marth returned. Very unexpected.

Ah. I was a somewhat conflicted since I did see that picture before, but a friend of mine told me Marth was a starter character so I took his word for it. Thanks for the clarification. He seems simple enough to unlock.
