The "Iwata Asks" segment seems interesting. I hope in future volumes, they discuss the meanings behind the two delays. I'd be really interested in knowing them.

    Oh shi- starting roster leaked.

Haha, if only there was a better quality image to have a better look at the characters.

EDIT: Looks like there might be 8 unlockables (unless there's a whole extra row on each side, but then that'd be like.. another +6, lol)

    Where's Captain Falcon dammit? >:

    Oh well he'll probably/hopefully be unlockable. V_V

Bah, while I'm happy with the starting roster, I am afraid of the space left for unlockables...
We know for a fact of:
    Sonic
    Snake
    Jigglypuff
    Lucario
    Ness
I can guess soundly that these people will return:
    C.Falcon
    Maybe a remade Gannodorf
    If the icons don't get smaller or some ****, we've got a problem with suprise characters. D;

    EDIT:
Someone found scans of a Brawl guidebook.
Click here for more scans of it.

    So far, they've translated:

    Lucas Smash Attacks:

Up Smash takes a whil to come out, but the energy gets bigger the longer it is charaged.
Forward Smash has short reach, but comes out quick.
Down Smash has the same range as Forward Smash.

    Olimar Smash Attacks:

Up Smash depend on the Pikmin. Purple has shorter reach?
Forward Smash is just like the Up. Purple's power is high.
Down Smash: Most Powerful in order: purple , red, red, yellow, white.

Holy s***..... Leaks. Leaks upon leaks upon leaks. Great, now I have to use the bathroom...

    ...

Now I am quite intrigued by todays update. The stage and the music for it are both quite a departure from the Mario games. The stage is in ruins. The underground level is creepy. The flag is brown and torn. The backround is a freaking desert! What does this mean? Will this stage be implimented in some way in story mode? Or is this being done just for being different? It's very unusual, but I am very pleased with this either way.

It's the Japanese voice. Of course it's gonna sound different.

No I believe he's talking about the English voice. (On the Dojo, there was a video where Sonic taunted saying "You're going too slow!")
I don't see the problem with it. Do you realize how many times Sonic's voice has changed over the years?

Oh, I see what you're referring to now. But to be honest, I don't see much of a difference in comparison to the first voice clips we've heard of Sonic in his introduction video on the Dojo.

    I agree.

And time for a new update from Brawl Central!
Final Destination is now 100% completely confirmed.
The ordering for character weight that was shown a few days ago lists the percentages that it takes to KO that character with Mario's Side Smash from the center of Final Destination.
The best three attacks listed for each character tell which attacks have the most knockback, and what percentage they can KO Mario from the center of Final Destination.
    Wall Clinging is confirmed.
All of the smashes listed are uncharged.
Mario can be KO'd at 17% by a fully charged side smash from King Dedede. So from the characters we know, Dedede's fully charged Side Smash is the most powerful move in the game.
The Pokemon Trainer's pokemon all get fatigued at about 2 minutes, even if you dont move them. They all show visible signs of fatigue: Charizard lowers his head and wings. Squirtle drops his front hands to the ground. Ivysaur's bulb withers.
The Fanmitsu magazine confirms the starting roster is the 23 characters on the Dojo. (minus Snake and Sonic, and including Zero Suit Samus and Sheik)
Once fatigued, a Pokemon becomes much slower.
If you do an aerial block the precise moment before you are hit by an opponent, it will reverse the attack.
The game allows you to access the rules menu directly from the character select screen.
When Sheik attacks with certain items such as the Star Rod and Beam Sword, she swings upward twice with a single motion.
The damage percentages were determined in training mode against a dummy CP and do not take DI in to account.
Wario's bite can swallow and destroy items and projectiles thrown at him. Everytime he does this, he takes 6% damage.
The magazine makes no mention of being able to start as Zero Suit Samus at the start of a match.

Looky what I found on GT's new video on SSBB.

    Is this the complete list?

This means Ness, Falcon, jigglypuff, Ganondorf, mewtwo and Mr Game and Watch are back. With newcomers, Midna (didn't see that coming) Crystal, Dark Samus and more. I wonder who the other third party character is? O.o

    Edit: I've just heard it's a fake. Damn. >_>

    Lawl, I'm glad you heard it was fake, I didn't want to be the one to burst your bubble. D;
However, Jiggs is back through a leak by Nintendo along with Ness and the newcommer Lucario. (There all unlockables)

You can tell it's pretty fake from the way all the charatcers that haven't been announced yet just have artwork from their games (WW Link being the most obvious example). Still it does kinda make me wish it was real since they included Ashley. xD
