I'm sorry but that picture reminds me of similar pictures about the Twin Towers and the smoke having a face in it. XD

It's really like that ink blot test, you see what you want to see. One guy, just one, said he saw it, they other's said "yeah, I agree" and so on and so forth. In reality it's just perception warping, and smokes the best thing to do that with since it has no definent shape.

The reason I suspect we've been having some dry updates lately, is because they originally were updating the Dojo at a pace to have pretty much everything major announced by December 3rd...

Now that they've pushed the release date back to February 10th, they've got an entire 2 months of updates to make up for, that they previously had nothing scheduled for. So basically, they've had to pull together a lot of extra updates to compensate for the extra time to the release, and I guess that means some lackluster filler updates for us between the major stuff (which they've now had to space out more)

On another note, Sakurai said in an interview awhile ago that he expected the full roster to be updated on the Dojo by the time the game was released...so in his own words he expected to have updated at a pace to reveal the whole roster by December, which leads me to believe we really don't have many characters to go

My "realistic" prediction (unrealistically, I'd hope for so much more) for what I think the Brawl Roster will contain:

    -30 slot roster
-16 veteran characters (+1 that does not take up a character slot)
-14 newcomer characters (+1 that does not take up a character slot)
-32 characters total, counting transformation characters

    Newcomers:
    -Pit
    -Wario
    -Ike
    -Pokemon Trainer
    -Diddy Kong
    -Snake
    -Metaknight
    -Lucas
    -King DeDeDe
    -Sonic
    -Animal Crosser
    -Geno
    -Megaman
    -Krystal

    Veterans:
    -Mario
    -Link
    -Kirby
    -Pikachu
    -Fox
    -Samus
    -Zelda
    -Bowser
    -Donkey Kong
    -Yoshi
    -Peach
    -Ice Climbers
    -Ganondorf
    -Captain Falcon
    -Luigi
    -Mr. Game and Watch

Playable characters that don't take up a slot on the roster:

    -Zero Suit Samus
    -Sheik

I suspect 1 more Newcomer and 4 more Veterans will be updated on the Dojo by the time the game releases. 2-3 Newcomers will be "unknown" (not updated), atleast officially if CoroCoro indeed has the full roster, until the game comes out

    But do you think Jigglypuff will be there? She's been there since the beginning. D;

IMO, Jiggly is one of the characters with the potential to get axed =o

Jigglypuff isn't a proper representation of the Pokemon franchise anymore =\ I mean back in the days of SSB64 and in Melee she was a popular Pokemon, had a recurring comical-relief role in the Anime, and was one of the Pokemon that always got merchandise like action figures and shirts next to Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo, etc. so she was a very iconic representative of Pokemon

But, Jiggly just isn't that character any more unfortunately, she's just not relevant to the series like she was back then, so to me she's one of the characters to get the cut in the face of newer stars D=

Yeah, unfortunately despite Jiggly being a moderately unique/favorable character, it's the same thing that makes me think Ness and Marth/Roy are gone, Sakurai seems to be updating the roster with the newer stars of the franchises. Lucas succeeds Ness, Ike succeeds Marth/Roy, and I think there is a chance we may be seeing Rick Wheeler...

Yeah, I agree that Sakurai doesn't have many characters left to announce. It doesn't seem likely that they'd be able to add whole new characters to the roster with the extra development time they've been given (although ~2months is quite some time). That time was probably more intended for other features other than the roster.

Anyway, Crono must love today's update.

My MSN convo with soushirei on monday:

    Me: ICEEEEEE
    Sushi: BERGGGG
Me: Next, Lucas rains death from the skies for 10 whole minutes. Meteorites fill the screen as screams of death and terror can be heard. And each meteorite causes instant death

And then I see this update:
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Nov. 23 Fri. 2007

    Lucas: Final Smash

    <PK Starstorm>

Lucas’s Final Smash is PK Starstorm! It’s a move in which he unleashes a rapid barrage of meteorlike PSI power.

After a fierce battle, he gets the Smash Ball!

    P...K....

    STARRRRRRRRSTORRRRRRRRRM!

As the star storm continues, the tension increases. They all rain down at once.

    Can you possibly escape it?!

It may be that it’s less advantageous on larger stages and more advantageous on smaller ones. There are a variety of moves like this that have clear advantages and disadvantages depending on the terrain.

    -----------------------------------------------------------
I was laughing my *** off. But im happy this put this move in~
