Summer Reading...

Summer Reading sucks. Does anyone else have to deal with Summer Reading?

 

Last summer I had to read the Da Vinci Code.I ended up reading all week on my vaction in Cuba!

 

Yeah. I'm reading something, I don't know what, but I'm gonna read it. Then I'm gonna write about it on note cards.

 

What's Summer reading?

 

It is when you have to read a book over Summer Vacation for school...the write a report...ugh.... :\

 

O.O Reading is fun and educational. But mostly fun.

 

...Not with stupid ******ed books already picked out for you.... :\

 

I used to like it...

But now all I feel like doing is talkin' to you guys and writing my OWN stories... XD;

My parents like the idea of the second one, though, so they're leavin' me alone. ^-^

...I WOULD skip it....IF I wouldn't flunk a grade for not doing it....This is a strict school I'm going to...O.o;

 

I LOATHE summer reading. I either read the books already or they're books I'd never consider picking up. Like Mayor of Castorbridge...Or Dracula...Or some book about a demon in a freezer which I haven't even started yet.

Do you go to a private school or something?

 

No, it's just strict.

 

He he, it's times like these when I'm glad I live in Northern Ireland! All I have to worry about over the summer is rugby training.

 

Omg. I love to read. I hate summer reading.

 

I like reading, however I hate to do work. And writing a bunch of unintelligible scribbles on a card we never use seems utterly pointless. That's my summer reading, off to ***** about it elsewhere.

 

know what cha mean i had to read the most boring book in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you never had heard it its like a 110 year book and its called April Morning about the BORING side of war it has 876 pages in it >_< and why did my teacher pick it for me? cause she says im skilled reader and im born in APRIL!!!!????? >-<


I loved to read until i started reading manga then i came to not liking real books with words

 

Reminds me of 'Across Five Aprils', now that was the worst thing I've ever read 'cause it's the worst thing ever written. I should know I've read 'To Kill a Mockingbird'.

We have the whoole summer free.
Ofcourse,we have to do summer reading in college.
