Summer in Twilight Town

"Cool!" Hayner commented. "I'm Hayner by the way." He introduce himself to Kira.

Kasha made her way down the street. Cars were infrequent in this area. It was nice when there was no cars. Little people. Big crowds gave her a headache. The most she could stand was being around three people at a time. Any more would give her a heart attack. She could hear talking further ahead.

 

"It's nice to meet you, Hayner. I'm Kira." She said rather embarrassed to introduce herself.

 

Weary eyes inspected the last plate.
She smiled a weak smile. Perfect.

Mechanically, each piece of dining-wear
Was brought home by steady hands.
It wasn’t until every last item was put away
That she allowed herself to rest.

But as soon as rest came, it left.

Suddenly, her eyes took a form less weary,
And more frantic as they met the clock.

7:59.

Her boss had made it quite clear,
On more than one occasion,
That she was to be punched out by 8:00.

 

[Roxas was glad to see the 2 getting along so well. "Well, you guys have any ideas what we should do?"

 

"Well, I don't really know this place so well, so unfortunately, I don't have any ideas. I'm sorry." Kira said to them.

 

Roxas pondered. "How about we all go get some ice cream and hang at the station tower?"
