Summer in Twilight Town

A stack of three virtually spotless plates stood next to the sink.
One who didn’t know better would say they were impossibly clean.
Oh, but she knew better. It was possible. And she wouldn’t rest until
Every last plate looked exactly like those three; perfect.

Trained fingers picked at the residue of heaven knew what.
She decided a long time ago that she had no desire to know.

It was here, in her fiery desire for perfection in the form of dishes,
That she allowed herself to enter “the zone.â€

Nothing mattered. Nothing but dishes.
Dishes that were to be absolutely, excessively,
And inhumanely clean by the hour of eight.

 

Kira lowered her head and started fidgeting with her fingers. "W-well... umm..." She wasn't sure what to say at that moment.

 

Roxas noticed the girl was a little nervous and the guy seemed a little quiet. "I'm Roxas, what're your names?" Roxas asked them.

 

Taka was biting his lip for a moment but then he cleared his thorat.
"My name is Taka... It means hawk, so you can also call me Hawk if you want..." He said quietly.
He then stood up and looked around for a moment, the town was rather silent currently.
"So... How many people you think live within this town..?" He asked randomly.

 

She continued fidgeting with her fingers. "I'm... Kira..." She said quitely. Kira raised her head a litlle to see them. Since this was the first time going out, Kira didn't know how to respond to Taka's question.

 

"Nice to meet you, Taka. Usually there are more people around. Today's kinda slow. Nice to meet you too, Kira. So, why haven't I seen you 2 around town before?"

 

"W-well... umm... I don't really go out much... this is the first time I go out in town like this... but I've lived here for quite some time." Kira looked at Taka to see what his response would be.

Biography: Pan takes care of his sister, Kasha during summers.

BIC: Roxas listened to her. "Well, now that you're out and around we can hang. What kinda stuff are you into?"

 

Kira was surprised. "Y-you want to hang out? With me?" She thought she had set a bad impression on him, by being shy and all.

 

Roxas nodded. "Sure, I can't find my friends so I want to hang with someone. Why not you? What do you wanna do?"

 

"Roxas!" Hayner called as he approached Roxas. His right hand man. They tried to hang out whenever it seemed. The days weren't like they used to be. He was just thankful that they still hung out at least. He'd seen countless friendships fly out the window as soon as summer came along.

Kasha shut the door to her apartment as she left. Her brother was already out. He would probably be getting off of work soon. Pan often worked and when he didn't he was either out and about or they would hang around and talk. Kasha didn't really leave the house. All of her supposed friends always seemed busy. Summer. Summer. Summer. She still loved Twilight Town however. It was really her place to live. There was always something to do.

Pan walked out of the town's grocery store. He had a part-time job there. Not that he enjoyed it. It was better than a full time job. Part time already made him want to kill himself. He was pretty sure Kasha would be out of the house by now. She hung around every now and then but often would go out with a destination to no where in the fear she'd be yelled out instead. He'd never do that of course.
Pan started on his way home, possibly go to catch up with Kasha later if he could find his little sister.

 

Roxas heard his name being called. He turned to see his best friend. "Hayner! Hey, there you are!"

 

"Well... looks like you wont have to waste your time with me, since your friend is here and all." Kira said as she tried to smile politely.

 

Hayner looked at the two Roxas had been speaking with. "Making new friends, eh?" He wasn't one to have a big group of friends. He preferred small, and close. Hayner didn't really like having friends he wasn't sure he could trust.

 

Roxas looked back and forth at Kira and Hayner. "Kira, want to hang with us for today? It's cool, right Hayner?" Roxas looked back at him.

 

She shook her head and smiled. "Thank you, but... I wouldn't want to impose or anything. Besides, I would probably not be as much fun as you two are."

 

"We really do need a wider range of friends, don't we, Roxas?" Hayner commented, and looked at Kira. "It gets boring. The more the merrier."

 

"C'mon Kira. It'll be fun. So Hayner, any ideas for what to do today?"

 

Kira thought about it for a moment. She thought it would be good to make some friends. "O-okay. I'll join you."
