Summer Camp {At Devil's Lake}

Stephanie looked out of the window. Her jaw dropped at what she saw the lake. It was truely amazing! However, her eyes widened when she saw the name of the lake. Devil's Lake... She felt herself start to shake. No way... I-I don't wanna be here... She closed her eyes tigh and hugged her knees to her chest. I-I hate this place...

bic: alexa looked out the window and saw a sign that said devil's lake nice name she thought to herself.

 

The bus gotten closer to the camp and Jane noticed a large lake. The water was glistening and the sun hovered it. It was beautiful. "Why is it called Devil's Lake?" she whispered to herself.

 

I-I can't go here... I-I just can't... She thought to herself and tears started to fall down her face. This was the place... Where I almost drowned... It was true. She had come here when she was younger with her parents. At that time, there wasn't a camp on the lake. They had just come to hang out on the beach. However, when she wandered too far out into the water, a wave had washed her away from her parents and pulled her under the water. She'd almost drowned, and even had to have CPR. It was one of her worst life experiences.

Jane heard someone crying in the back so she turned around. She saw Stephanie crying to herself. Jane quickly got up and ran over to her seat. "Why are you crying?" she asked pulling her sunglasses back over her eyes. The sun heated up the bus.

 

"this must be a scary lake" alexa chuckeled she put her arm on the side of the window then held her head up with her hand "i can't belive i am spending my summer here" she said.

 

"Because this is the last lake that I would've liked this camp to be at..." She muttered. "Last time I came here, I almost drowned. I never wanted to have to come here again..."

 

"Oh, but that was last year. Everything is diffrent. One reason because I'm here and the other is there are many different people. So we both can make friends." Jane said and held out her hand. "My name is Jane Penn, who are you?" she asked.

Saxon sat by himself in the back of the bus. He had one earphone in and was listening to Faint by Linkin Park. He tapped his finger on the window ledge, keeping time with the drums. So this is Devil's Lake huh? Looks interesting. Maybe we will see some wolves here. His eyes lit up at the idea and his fingers itched to draw one. Sighing, he shook it off. Wolves were pack creatures but they weren't social with humans. We are way to loud for them. He smiled as he thought about his own wolf-dog back home.

Jane sat with Stephanie until the bus came to a sudden halt. "We're here..." she mumbled to herself. She felt a cold shiver coming down her spine. "Creepy..." she said and stood up.

"You can step out of the vus now!" The driver said.

 

alexa stood up and started to walk off the "i wonder who else in is my cabin"she said to herself.

 

"It was actually a couple years ago..." She said and decided not to tell her what else had happened last time she came here. When she heard it was time to get off, she froze. Great... She thought and wiped the tears from her face.

 

"Alright!" He grabbed his bag and stepped out into the isle. "After you," he said to the girls in front of him. His father always said that you should let a girl go first. He took his ipod out and put it into his bag.

 

"Thank you," Jane said as she stepped in front of the boy. She stepped outside and smelt the sweet lake breeze.

 

"No problem," he said, cracking a smile. He was just about to get off but he noticed that one girl was left looking like a deer caught in the headlights of a truck. A really big truck. "Are you ok?' He asked concerned.

 

"Where is that girl?" Jane asked herself as she quickly looked around. She saw her through the window. Jane got back to the bus and called for her. "Come on...let's go it'll be alright." Jane said.

 

OOC- I'm going to guess he was talking to Stephanie...? >> I dunno... XP

Stephanie shook her head to snap out of it and she stood up. "Yeah... I'm fine..." She said and smiled, deciding that she should probably get off of the bus. She walked out of the bus and looked around at the camp.
