Summer 2008 Movies List - Post summer movie discussion here

Alright, so we all know that summer movies are usually the best thing to look forward to when it's unbearably hot outside, you want to hang out with your friends, or if you're lazy like me and just want to kill a few hours in air conditioning.
Here's where you can discuss ALL of the movies, review them and critique, give some insight on how you think upcoming summer movies will do in the box office, and which ones you're looking forward to.
And like the other movie review thread, use longer sentences and reasons.
Don't be like, "The Dark Knight is awesome because it's Batman."

Anyways, I really want to see Tha Dark Knight, I heard there's Oscar Buzz over Heath Ledger's performance

so it should be good

 

I think the movies that will do pretty good veiw-wise are: The Incredible Hulk, Hancock, Disastor Movie, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2, and the Dark Knight. <--Bold are more likely in my opinion.

 

Wasn't that movie "Twilight" coming out in Summer? Or was that next year?

 

It's about a serial killer that takes people on trains, kills them, and puts them in a meat freezer.
Something like that. xD

Incredible Hulk was awesome, I saw it yesterday. Lots of smashing, and it was SO much better than the first one.
I want to see The Mummy too...Jet Li's Shi Huangdi. xD
Only thing that I was kinda meh about was that Evie and Alex have different actors. I saw the preview yesterday, though, and it does look good.

December. All the fangirls are going insane. xDD

As you can see, the makers of Epic Movie are covering their movies with alternate titles.
Meet the Spartans was supposed to be Epic Movie 2, but after the first failed hard, they changed it.
This looks like the third in the line. >_>;;

 

Gawd, there are actually so much. It's hard to seriously name them all.

The Incredible Hulk, Hancock, Pineapple Express, The Dark Knight, Get Smart, Wanted, Don't Mess With The Zohan, and Far Cry.
Like Jayn, the bold pretty much explains the ones I am most likely going to see.

 

you missed "the strangers" and "iron man".

 

Eh...no I didn't, because as I said, I'm starting the list with June and going to August.

Yeah, pretty cool concept, I think.
But I always loved the Get Smart series before. My father always had the VHS or DVD's and I'd watch them 'til I fell asleep every night.

I'd wait for DMwtZ to come out on DVD, or maybe I might see it in theatres since it might be packed.
Packed theatres are always the best.

 

2009 will be amazing because Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen is gonna be out.

Anyway. Back to 2008.

My friends saw it a few days back. They said it was freakin' hilarious and that they were laughing through the whole thing.
Yes, they may be slightly spastic, but they know comedy movies.
And dude, it's a panda; what's not to love? xD

 

okay, sorry....

we'll for me, it was an okay movie. there are som really funny moments, and they like to abuse the slow motion effect.

STORY: (without spoilers)
Po (the panda) works in a noodle shop with his dad. after the tournament to become the next dragon warrior, he gets picked. now he must become dragon warrior.
