Suicide...

#1. If you were to committ suicide, how would you do it?

A few different ideas.

a. First find a large amount of thermite and a lighter. Drive a car in the middle of the night into a lonely part of town (a parking lot, or maybe a back street) with the thermite and the lighter. Once parked, get out of the car and spread the thermite in a line over the middle of the car. Get back in the car, shut the door, and open the window. Lean out of the window and use the lighter to ignite the thermite, then quickly take a seat between the driver and passenger seat of the car. If done correctly, the thermite should effectively cut the car in half, while killing you from either the heat or the actual fire. Everybody goes on their commute the next morning to find a horribly scorched and unidentifiable body in a car that has been mysteriously cut completely in half.

b. Gather materials that are or are similar to: A basketball hoop, a length of piano wire, a camera, gorilla glue and a sizable building. First, position the basketball goal at the base of the building, and the camera at the base of the basketball goal. Make sure the camera is recording the hoop. Walk/ride to the top of the building with the remaining materials. Fashion a noose out of the piano wire, and tie yourself to the building as you would from the noose. Gorilla glue your hands to the sides of your head, and jump off of the building, aiming for the basketball goal. If done correctly, the piano wire should slice your head off, the glue should let you keep a hold of it, and it should go through the hoop that is being recorded. You have effectively slam dunked your own head on camera.

c. The old mongolian trick, where you tie two of your limbs to one vehicle and two to another. Except I would do it with either jet cars or commercial airliners.

#2. Why do you think people committ suicide?

Really, if you were to ask me, trivial reasons. Humans tend to make mountains out of molehills when they don't like something, and sometimes those mountains seem too much for a person when they are really molehills.

Also, someone please tell me what a molehill is.

 

People commit suicide out of emotional content: Like...

"Anger"
"Sadness"

And others that abuse their bodies commit suicide out of drugs, such as meth.

 

I was reading somewhere that Meth was one of the major drugs that leads to suicide.....that is why people should never do drugs.....most of them....

 

1) I would commit suicide by jumping off a tall building. At least I would be able to fulfil my dream-- I could fly, if only for a little while.

2) People commit suicide because they get depression, or just can't live with the stress. I was watching the news the other day and something about suicide came on, and a psycologist said that sometimes people can get so depressed they think even their family would be better off without them. I have felt depression before, but not as strongly as that. Some people might not be able to take the stress but I have a twin sister so it was easier to get over once she'd convinced me that all my friends DIDN'T hate me.

 

...dude, what the ****, I got chills just reading that let alone thinking it up. Eurgh.

if i were to commit suicide i would "cut down the road, not across it." thats the way to put it, right?

#2. Why do you think people committ suicide?
because they have no other way to get away from the pain in their life that they feel, because they have some kind of mental illness like chronic depression, and because no one is there to help them... or because they are selfish and feel that the easiest way out of their problems is dying.

I would never commit suicide, no matter what. Okay I admit to saying to myself "People won't miss me if I am gone, why am I here" and yah de yah da but never will I.

#2. Why do you think people committ suicide?
They can not deal with anything and they are weak, also they have no support from anyone.

 

#1 Anyway that was quick and painless.

#2 They do it for millions of reasons. The most common one is from a crappy life. other reasons are because of a lot of stress or an extended exposure to emotional problems. Then there is loneliness. It also happens from the feeling of losing any purpose for living. And finally there is fear.

Out of all of these, Fear is the most interesting. People may be targeted by someone who wants revenge, so they kill themselves in order to escape a painful death. then there is a fear of a plague. And finally there is fear of dieing slowly from an illness.

People kill themselves because they have aids or cancer or some other disease that is incurable. Personally, I don't blame them. It's their life, so they shouldn't have to die a slow, painful death if they don't want to. People see this as being cowardly, but it's not. They are going to die anyway, so why not spare their self the pain of dieing slowly. It's also more painful on the family to have to watch a loved one die slowly.
