Hello, I have noticed that in alot of forum's they have a memorable threads section. Memorable Thread's in other word's thread's that either got really big and popular or, thread's that were really small but got alot of good review's. I just though this could not only clean up some of the sections so there would be more room. It would be cool to get your thread popular or big enough to go into that section.

That would be interesting to see what threads would go there...

    I'm 50/50 on this :/

It would cause a competition between some members, who gets the most popular thread etc. That would really spam up some sections.

On the other hand it oculd be fun. This is more of a thread we could have in the spamzone.

Wouldn't threads then get lost under all those 'memorable' threads?

It woud clear some sections up. I'm not really for it but i'm not totally against it.

Yes I understand that but, I am not saying you should pick a Most Popular one. Just threads that got really popular or big fairly quickly. I just came up with the idea. Also maybe even to stop confusion you could even lock the threads put in the memorable zone?

Also this has nothing to do with the spamzone sorry.

A lot of the threads that go up really quickly usually die after a day or two. There are hardly any threads that constantly get posted in each day. (Except the post to a million thread etc)

Maybe rather than stickying ALL the threads. Maybe just have one sticked thread and then provide links to the threads themselves?

I don't know. I think it would be interesting to see but I doubt it will actually be put into effect.

That's a good idea too. But were to put the stickied thread?

Well now see, what I mean is so what if it goes dead? As long as it is like for instance a good information thread or just a memorable one just post up the link so people can check it out. Also it might be a way to get threads moving with popularity again.

The criteria for a thread being 'popular' is only a mouse-click away. And generalizing the KHV community in general, if this were implemented I can only see it being abused.

It'd be a cheap way to create a makeshift sticky; thread ratings as of now are inconsequential and I think it's better that way.

Just because one staff member says no doesn't mean it won't be put into action. You just happened to post a poor suggestion that isn't really needed.

No, that would be a spelling error at best. That is to say if it weren't so obvious that his timing with the shift key was off at that point. The sentence as a whole was grammatically correct.

I would've thought the topic was almost finished. Logically the function would just become the new technical whore of the forum. Either that or we have to pester some mod to go out of their way and journey throughout the forum to find something witty or memorable enough to make the cut...Have you seen the spam zone? What about the speculation threads for future KH games? Yeah, finding potentials is like finding a needle in a haystack. If anything, how about a collection of awesome forum posts that are smart enough to make the cut at the end of each month. "Quotes of the month" if you will.
